High Standard Detached House

This bachelor’s thesis deals with a new built detached house situated in Přestavlky, Přerov district. The building has two floors with a partial basement, made of sand-lime brick system Sendwix. Ceilings are made of monolithic reinforced concrete and the building is covered with the shed roofs. The object is divided into the social area on the first floor, the sleeping area on the second floor and the technical facilities in the basement. Living rooms are mainly situated in the southern part of the building, in connection with a large terrace.

Nonlinear analysis of reinforced concrete structures

The aim is to design and evaluate nonlinear beams analysis, which will be subjected by four – point bending. Nonlinear analysis will be performed and evaluated on three beam models, the first of which will be made from plain concrete, the second of which will be made from reinforced concrete with reinforcement bars in the domain of tensile stress and the third of which will be made from reinforced concrete with reinforcement bars in domains of tensile and compressive stress. The thesis will be included formation of appropriate FE models, performance of nonlinear calculations with using nonlinear material model from a library of nonlinear material models multiPlas in the programming environment of software ANSYS and subsequent evaluation of results. Evaluation of results will consist from evaluation of nonlinear beams analysis and from evaluation of beams analysis according to ČSN EN 1992 – 1 – 1 without reinforcement bars and with reinforcement bars in these variants, next from comparison of nonlinear beams analysis with a beams analysis according to ČSN EN 1992 – 1 – 1 and finally from evaluation of the yield condition, which will be applied to the beams.

Residential Building

The apartment house is designed as a full-basement structure, with one underground storey and two above-ground storeys. The access to the building is either by a steel staircase or barrier-free, by a steel ramp. Cars enter the basement by a one-way ramp. The main entrance to the building is located on the first above-ground storey and is connected to the stairwell which serves as the principal vertical communication. The basement floor houses a parking lot, supporting facilities, cellars, and a boiler room. The first floor houses offices, including supporting facilities, and two apartment units, one comprising two rooms with kitchenette, the other a 3+1 (two-bedroom) unit. In addition, there is also a pram room. There are two 3+1 (two-bedroom) units on the second floor. Each apartment has its own balcony. The facade of the building is segmented, serving as a contact thermal insulation system. The building has a saddle roof, covered with gray-coloured seamed metal sheet roofing. Its slope is 13°. The building lies on ribbon foundations and a bearing plate. The structural system is based on brickwork consisting of ceramic building blocks, supplemented by reinforced concrete on the basement floor, and makes use of an outside contact thermal insulation system. The roof structures are represented by reinforced concrete monolithic ceilings. The load-bearing structure of the roof consists of a nailed roof truss girder, with the bottom flange of the girder carrying an SDK soffit – the ceiling structure of the second floor. The building will have a central heating system comprising an electric boiler with an accumulation tank located in the boiler room on the basement floor. Horizontal utility lines are bundled, with two main utility nodes located between apartment units.

Family house with an establishment

The new family house without cellar, with garage and an establishment – hairdressing salon. The object is based on strip foundation. The footing bottom is in frost resistant depth. Construction system is in both ways. Vertical walls are made by cut bricks POROTHERM. The external cladding is replenished by thermal insulation plaster POROTHERM TO. Horizontal constructions are made by ceramic girders and insert POROTHERM. Stairway is made by reinforced concrete. Heating system is ensured by gas boiler.

Park of Culture Brno

The goal of this project is to design a new cultural and social center in Brno on the Mikulasek Square, Starý Lískovec. The main idea of the project was not only to design a building that would perfectly serve its purpose, but it was also to create a lively enviroment to meet people and to spend the leisure time. It was not required to detract the green areas in this housing estate. So there was a park created on the new building’s roofs. This is how the omitted place got its character and use. There are two buildings designed under the ground level and a bridge that helps the continuity of the park. On the south side in front of the main entrances there is a space with outdoor stage and auditorium followed by a wide ramp that meanders between the two buildings. The ramp was situated to the center of the project in order not to set aside the invalids. In front of the buildings there is also an area called ‚park square‘ which is formed by an irregular grass surfaces and pathes that lead to a various directiones. This space was designed according to an analysis of the people’s movement in this area. There are trees planted and the pathes are lined with long wooden rectangular-shaped benches.

Multi-functional house, Brno, Horova

The bachelor thesis deals with the static design of selectet part od the structure multy-functional house in Brno. The building consist of o basement, three floors, attic and roof trusses. The supporting structure consists of a monolithic conrete slab and ceiling of the attic Miako. Vertical load-bearing elements are bulit form bricks Porotherm. Column under the girders in 1.NP is plain concrete. The elements under consideration is made drawings.

Cast-in-place underground pumping station

The aim of this work was to design a monolithic gas station. Construction was divided to 3 stages: base plate concreting, wall of the tank and slab. All these parts are connected together. Design was centered on all of these parts and problems during concreting and using were solved too. It also includes drawings.

Monolithic concrete building at sewerage plant

Bachelor's thesis deals with design of monolithic concrete construction with a timber roof truss for a device of sewerage plant. This construction consists of these elements- strip foundation, walls with lintels, slab and timber trusses. This thesis contains static analysis of the component parts and their drawing documentation.

Cast-in-place structure at sewerage plant

The thesis is focused on the design and the assessment of horizontal supporting parts and concrete trough on the sewage pumping station in the Boskovice town. There are parts of thesis: technical report, static analysis, design documentation and visualizations. The technical report describes the proposed solution. Calculation of internal forces was performed by manual calculation and verified by the software RFEM. The design documentation consists of shape and reinforcements drawings of selected structural elements.
