Selected Factors Affecting Libero Passing in Volleyball
Kubrycht, Šimon ; Vorálek, Rostislav (advisor) ; Kočíb, Tomáš (referee)
Title: Selected Factors Affecting Libero Passing in Volleyball Objectives: The aims of my bachelor's thesis are to identify and analyze the key factors affecting libero passing in the Czech men's volleyball extraliga and to analyze the use of selected skills employed in passing within the context of training. Methods: As the research method in our work, we used an anonymous questionnaire, with liberos from teams in the "ČEZ Men's Extraliga" participating as respondents. A total of ten respondents participated in this questionnaire. For questions where respondents rated their answers on a scale, we used the calculation of arithmetic mean. We then compared and evaluated the data. Results: We found out which anticipatory sources are most and least used by players when receiving a serve. Specifically, the most commonly used sources include the toss by the serving player, their laterality, the run-up location, or the opponent's strategy and tactics. Conversely, the least used sources include the surface of the hall or the team's position in the standings. Other results of our research include the distances at which receiving players position themselves for receiving jump float and floater serves. In the questions regarding the training of anticipation, reaction and split step, we found that some Czech...
Volleyball game action in response to changes of the rules when using the new rule libero
Tesař, Karel ; Pokorný, Ladislav (advisor) ; Jahodová, Gabriela (referee)
In my bachelor work I investigate the volleyball game action in response to changes of the rules in application of the new libero rule and in relation to removal games losses system. I summarize here history and basic concepts related to volleyball for their needin further investigation. I perform an analysis of three observed games, where every game is a sample of the developmental period in the rules of volleyball. Obtained datafor clearness are transformed into graphic form and here I determine theirinterdependence in order to find general relations between key variables describing thevolleyball match. As a secondary objective I will determine the average height of playersin the position of libero and conclude appropriate consequences from this.
Evaluation and comparison of the success in gaming activities of libero with hitters in the mens volleyball European Championship 2011
Buchalová, Karolína ; Vorálek, Rostislav (advisor) ; Buchtel, Jaroslav (referee)
Title: Evaluation and comparison of the success in gaming activities of libero with hitters in the mens volleyball European Championship 2011 Objectives: The main objective of this thesis is comparison of libero and hitters. This thesis focus on pass after servis from oponent team and on field game. We will achieve results about succes rate of libero and compare those results with results of hitters, on European championship 2011 in men voleyball, in the same category. Methods: In this thesis is used the method of indirect observation, thanks to video. It was recorded success of passing and collection via line method. In order to classify the quality of passing and collection, it was used five-point scale. Results: The results confirmed all the research questions, so we are convinced of the quality and indispensability of libero in Volleyball. The creation of a methodical series of exercises for the specialization of the libero in volleyball.
Dostálová, Veronika ; Vorálek, Rostislav (advisor) ; Kočíb, Tomáš (referee)
In this Master's thesis I am focusing on the creation of a series of exercices for the libero player in volleyball. Exercises focus on the training of specific activities that are mandatory while participating in the game: passing, digging, setting and covering. In the description of individual game activities, always emphasize the key moments of training. The first part focuses on introducing readers to the theoretical basics of volleyball. The main focus is on the detailed description and analysis of the key gaming activities of libero such as mentioned before. The second part of the Master's thesis consists of the exercises I have created for libero player specialization. Exercises are divided into four parts, according to individual game activities. Exercises shown in kinograms (phased footage from the video that is verbally described). Attached to the Master's thesis is a video with a complete series of skill developing exercises with comments. Key words: libero, methodical series, pass, set, dig, cover
The analysis of certain moves by the libero in volleyball when not in possession of the ball
Dostálová, Veronika ; Buchtel, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Vorálek, Rostislav (referee)
This thesis focuses on the analysis of certain moves by the libero in volleyball when not in possession of the ball. I analyse individual sequences with the help of the DartFish software program, which I apply to situations following serve of my team and that of my opponent. Movement is analysed up to the moment the libero makes contact with the ball, as well as after contact. The theoretical section introduces the reader to volleyball as a sport. Here I address individual moves in play with emphasis on the actions of passing and digging, the libero's main functions. The conclusion of the theoretical section also provides basic information on the diagnostic programs Datavolley and DartFish, which are used for breaking down volleyball moves. In the research section, movement of the libero during a match while not in possession of the ball is analysed. I examine the distance of moves during individual rallies, the time of moves, starting positions, and positions while passing and digging. Conclusions are drawn based on the results, which are then evaluated and compared. Key words: libero, defence, starting position, movement in the court, analysis, DartFish. Postural strategy of volleyball players and their ability to dynamically stabilize
Hasalová, Zuzana ; Vomáčková, Helena (advisor) ; Satrapová, Lenka (referee)
Title: Postural strategy of volleyball players and their ability to dynamically stabilize. Objective: The aim of this diploma thesis is to find and describe the parameters, which enable the level of postural stabilization in professional volleyball players to be traced, depending on their playing position. These parameters were obtained by taking measurements using dynamic computer posturography (Smart EquiTest System). Methods: In this experiment, 10 professional players between the ages of 18 and 28, who actively compete in the highest national volleyball league, were specifically selected. The selected individuals were divided into groups according to their game specialization (left side hitter/ right side hitter (n = 3), middle blocker (n = 3), setter (n = 2) and libero (n = 2)). In addition, a control group was selected, consisting of 5 recreational volleyball players. In this thesis, in order to objectively assess the postural stability of test subjects (top athletes and control groups), Neurocom's Smart EquiTest System was used, and the measured data was then processed in Neurocom's Balance Manager Software. Statistical evaluation using Shapiro - Wilk's Normality Test, Student's t - test and Mann - Whitney test subsequently made it possible to compare the game specializations of the test...
