Influence of temperature on behaviour of magnetic drive with permanent magnets
Krejčí, Petr ; Houfek, Lubomír
This paper presents experimental results and suggests the design changes for elimination of temperature influence.
Lubrication of artificial joints -an essentially interdisciplinary problem
Pražák, Josef
The contemporary prevailing practice in the artificial joints application assumes implicitly a sufficient lubrication of the hoint surfaces by the spontaneous effusion fouid of the body liquids. The latter assumption is not apparently universally found and in many cases probably substantially limits the replacement usefulness. One assumes namely that the main cause of the definitive unstable fixation of endoprostheses in the bone structure is caused by the immunobiological reaction of the organism.
Possibilities of modelling of qualiti changing of liquid
Houfek, Lubomír
In paper is presented od modelling of quantity changes of liquids.
Computational simulation of the influence of material porosity on test specimen behaviour
Janíček, P. ; Fuis, Vladimír ; Pešlová, F.
EUCOR material is a natural ceramics produced by fusion of natural basalt. A measuring method for investigation of its elastic material characteristics was developed, enabling to evaluate elasticity moduli in tension and compression. Basis lies in meaing strain values at a beam under four-point-flexion using strain gauges. The results showed some discrepancies the causes of which have to be analysed.
Computational modelling of the influence of area tolerance on the contact pressure between the hip joint endoprosthesis parts
Fuis, Vladimír ; Krbec, M. ; Florian, Z.
The paper presents the experiences with the computational modelling of the forces on the inner spherical area of the polyethylene cup of the total hip joint endoprosthesis with consideration of the production inaccuracies (different cup's diameters).
Stress and reliability analyses of hip joint endoprosthesis ceramic head under oblique loading
Fuis, Vladimír ; Ochranová, M.
The paper presents the analysis of the oblique load of the hip joint ceramic head pressed onto the tested stem. The system FEM - ANSYS was used for the computational modelling of the stress and deformation of the analysed system. The maximum tensile in the head without the production inaccuracies of the contact areas are for the ISO 7206-5 loading.
The quantitative exploration of refractory period in human atrial cells
Brožková, K. ; Pásek, Michal ; Šlichta, J.
The refractory period of cardiac cell plays a significant role in process of suppression of cardiac arrhythmias. The aim of this study is to explore the refractory period of human atrial cells. The method used in this work is based on quantitative modelling.
Simulation of impact´s effects in nonlinear parametric systems
Škuderová, Alena
The creation of gear pair model with elastic bearings was the aim this work. The model considers the influence of motion in bearings nor only at direction of line of mesh, but and at normal direction, the damping and periodically variable stiffness in the gear mesh, frictional forces, possibly eccentricity of gears or manufacturing inaccuracy of teeth profile and influence of impacts caused by existence of backlash.
Computer modelling of effect of transversal tubules on excitation - contraction coupling in cardiac cells (Basic study)
Pásek, Michal ; Christé, G. ; Šimurda, J.
The transverse tubular system (T-system) of cardiac muscle is a structure that allows rapid propagation of excitation into the cell interior. As suggested in many resent experimental works it could have a significant effect on cardiac cell function in **ed by the accumulation or the depletion of ions in restricted tubular space. The aim of our work was to design a mathematical model of electrical activity of cardiac cell including a quantitative description of T-system function and to explore the phy
Modal and spectral properties of the rotor on permanent magnet bearings
Kozánek, Jan ; Scopel, D. ; Svoboda, R. ; Šafr, M.
In this article the spectral and modal properties of the rotor on contactless bearings are investigated. The dynamic behaviour, especially the eigenfrequencies and corresponding modes have been calculated in two different ways, by the FEM ANSYS software in the Institute of Thermomechanics and by the program DYNROT in TECHLAB company. The importance of this analysis is supported by the fact that the first non-rigid body resonance is not far from the working rotation speed 40 000 rpm .
