The Use of a Common Data Environment for Data Exchange in Building Information Management
Vystavěl, Ondřej
Building Information Management (BIM) represents a modern approach for managing all aspects of building information throughout the construction lifecycle. In order to ensure an effective management, it is necessary to use a Common Data Environment (CDE). Various CDEs platforms are available and this paper examines, discusses, and compares the types of data stored in CDE, as well as methods of georeferencing. The analysis is based on a case study involving the remodelling of a geodetic section of as-built documentation, transitioning from Computer-Aided Design (CAD) to BIM.
Precise Positioning of Railway Primary System Using Gnss Technology in Operating Conditions
Bureš, Jiří ; Vystavěl, Ondřej
The paper deals with the analysis of the accuracy of the real-time GNSS measurement procedure used in railway operating conditions. The accuracy achieved in operating conditions is compared with the accuracy obtained on a calibration base using the same measurement procedure. The consistency between the accuracies of the primary system (satellite-determined) and the secondary system (terrestrially measured by the traverse method) is also discussed. The analysis includes the problem of residual inhomogeneities of the uniform transformation key when transformed to S-JTSK.
Basement model of the house in Revit
Vystavěl, Ondřej ; Volařík, Tomáš (referee) ; Berková, Alena (advisor)
The aim of my bachelor thesis is to make a model of basement of a slab block in software Revit Architecture. In the theoretical part of my thesis my aim was to make out chapters of methodical manual. The thesis mainly mentions chapters concerning how to use the work environment, preparatory work for modelling, creation of walls, building foundations and graphical outputs. Work with point cloud is outlined in the thesis as well. Solution of discrepancies between bases which was found out during work is also described.
Elaboration of documentation of the actual construction of the railway construction in the context of BIM
Vystavěl, Ondřej ; Raška, Jakub (referee) ; Bureš, Jiří (advisor)
The thesis deals with the creation of the geodetic part of the as-built documentation (G-DSPS) of the Reconstruction of the Šumice stop and the process of its reworking into the Building Information Modelling (BIM) environment. The first part of the thesis deals with the creation of the G-DSPS according to the standardised internal regulations of the Railway Administration (SŽ). The second part of the thesis deals with the conversion of the G-DSPS into the BIM environment. The form in BIM is currently in a nascent state for transport constructions, therefore it was necessary to analyse the current state from available information, especially from documents and webinars of the State Fund for Transport Infrastructure (SFDI) and training courses of the Railway Administration. Some of the options analysed for this transfer were tested using G-DSPS data. The result of the thesis is a developed G-DSPS according to the valid regulations of the Railway Administration and its subsequent transfer to the BIM environment. The most important finding of the thesis is that this conversion is possible, but currently highly inefficient with a lot of technical pitfalls that will need to be resolved by the time the procurement process in BIM is launched.
Documentation of listed buildings from a surveyor’s point of view
Vystavěl, Ondřej ; Kuruc, Michal ; Berková, Alena ; Volařík, Tomáš
Production of documentation of listed buildings in a comprehensive digital form is an important step in the process of preserving cultural heritage and enables the preservation of as much information as possible about cultural monuments for future generations. One of the ways to approach this issue is to create an information model. Modelling is preceded by data acquisition. Surveyor should be responsible for this activity. At present, this often involves geometric surveying of the object using laser scanning technologies, followed by processing into a point cloud, which forms the spatial basis for the creation of the information model of the scanned object. It should be standard to connect the measurements to a coordinate and height reference system. For the creation of BIM, it is generally necessary to choose software that, among other things, allows modelling from predefined elements. There are a number of elements for designing new structures. However, the situation is different for historic buildings. These contain elements of completely different and often complicated geometric shapes that are not currently available in the available libraries, so you have to create them, because they tend to be different, often unique, for each building. In order to visualise the resulting information model for the general public, game development environment tools are now increasingly being used to create outputs for ordinary users. The above-mentioned issue is described in this paper using a case study of the creation of an information model of the listed building Maxmiliánův dvůr in Kroměříž, built in the mid-19th century by the Archbishop of Olomouc, Maxmilián Sommerau Beck.
