Design of end effector for manipulation with laser cutted sheetmetal
Večerka, Rostislav ; Bražina, Jakub (referee) ; Szabari, Mikuláš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design of an end effector for manipulation with sheet metal blanks. The first part of the bachelor thesis deals with the basic division of end effectors according to the nature of the operation and gripping elements. The second part solves the given problem of manipulation with sheet metal blanks, where a system analysis of the work was performed to determine the essential values that affect the result of the work. Based on the knowledge from the first part of the work, the three most suitable types of end effectors for solving the given problem were selected. This was followed by the creation of all three of the design variants and multiple criteria decision analysis, thanks to which we chose a more suitable design variant. The engineering design of the end effector was done for selected gripping elements. Then the forces acting on the sheet metal and the required gripping force of the effector were calculated in the design calculation. Based on this, the safety parameter was determinated.
