Binder systems on the base aluminasilicate

This thesis describes influence of plasticizers and setting accelerators in binder system based aluminasilikates. Following survey includes changes of characteristics of aluminate cements in combination with various setting accelerators. Practical testing and measuring summarizes and compares interdependence of structure, compressive strength, permeability and abrasion resistance. As a final part of thesis individual mixes are analysed economically and are accompanied by suggestions for future use and use in working experience.

Didactic game as a way to open the world of geometry

The aim of this thesis is to explore thinking processes of pupils when solving problems of geometric manipulative environment Parquets. I elaborated this environment Parquets and stated characteristic tasks. I have also described, in what mental schemes of mathematical concepts solving tasks may contribute. I made use of pupil's life experiences with the game Ubongo in the presentation of the environment for them. The diploma thesis is presenting the ideas of the constructivist approach to teaching mathematics. Necessary relevant theoretical concepts are defined in the theoretical part. The experiment with third grade, who attended the Math's club is the basis of this diploma thesis. Video recordings were transcribed in the form of a written report and these were analyzed in the aim of diagnosing and describing phenomena that are related to discussions of pupils, their cooperation within the group and the development of mathematical experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the student, but also the personality and social competences. In the analysis I also pay attention to the role of the experimenter, who was also in the role of a teacher. In conclusion, I made recommendations that could improve the lesson.

Financial literacy and its inclusion in the curriculum of practical primary schools

The theoretical part of the diploma work defines intellectual disabilities, as well as the possibilities of counselling and educating of pupils with mental disabilities. Further, the thesis discusses education and re-education of pupils with diagnosed mental retardation. It outlines the inclusion of financial literacy into the curricular documents intended for pupils with a mental disability across educational areas with emphasis on mathematics. The thesis introduces materials and their parameters suitable for the inclusion of financial literacy at practical primary schools. The practical part covers experimental education of individual thematic topics of financial literacy at practical primary schools. The carried out initial diagnostics of pupils at a selected practical primary school focused on percentages, simple interest and a family budget. This diagnostics had a general character, as was also verified. Furthermore, the thesis presents a detailed record from own executed teaching with regard to four monitored pupils, including their casuistry. After the completion of the teaching, its success was assessed. Financial Mathematics in High Schools

The thesis is dealing with the current state of teaching financial literacy and financial mathematics at high schools. The purpose of this thesis is to sum up information about documents that are source for teaching of financial literacy and to inform about current state of its teaching at high schools. Theoretical part concerns with involving of financial mathematics in framework education programme. This part also shows what subjects are involving financial mathematics. Practical part is dedicated to research, which had been realised at selected high school - Technical high school of food technologies, which follows "Food analysis" and "Environmental ecology" FEP. Level of students in financial mathematics is detected though the questionnaire carried out at the chosen school. Using a questionnaire and test. Introducing the area of polygons, particularly by method of releasing parameter in primary schools

This thesis deals with the description of constructive approach to teaching mathematics in the third grade of primary school. Teaching mathematics is focused on geometry, specifically on one way of introducing the area of the scalene triangle which describes the relation between a side and its height and corresponding area. In the thesis I describe six particular lessons, their preparation, process of their realization and my own reflections. In these lessons, I analyse some cognitive phenomena as well as social relationships among pupils. Furthermore, I present a detailed examination of tasks from the final diagnostic test, in which I aim towards proving success of this method of teaching mathematics. After four years, I attempt to verify the permanency of the knowledge pupils gained in these particular lessons. I illustrate this by presenting analysis of additional exercises. The whole experimental process was led within the method of releasing parameter. Individual lessons were in accordance with given stages of this method, as described in specialised literature. I verified that the above mentioned method is applicable in teaching mathematics even in the third grade of the primary school. Title: Financial Literacy in Mathematics Abstract Bachelor thesis Financial Literacy in Mathematics deals with the computational aspects of the financial literacy of grammar school pupils. The first part focuses on the general concepts of financial literacy and financial mathematics and their mutual relationship. The second part is devoted to compiling the examples and exercises that can be used to enhance the level of financial literacy of junior secondary school pupils. Use of selected geometry problems from the world of finance in upper secondary mathematics education

The topic of the thesis is the use of selected tasks, which I created in my bachelor thesis, in the mathematics teaching at grammar schools. These are problematic word problems from geometry curriculum with financial themes. The aim of the thesis is to find out the role of the word problems in pupils' motivation in teaching. The theoretical part describes the issue of motivation and pupil motivation for learning. I also deal with problem of word problems, their definition and typology. The practical part is focused on experiment with aim to find out the use of selected tasks in the mathe- matics teaching at grammar school. In the experiment, I primarily examined whether the tasks motivated pupils , how successful they were in solving and the influence of financial themes in selected tasks on the pupil's emotional state or his success in solving the task. I processed statistical data quantitatively and qualitatively. To collect statistical data, I used a questionnaire and observation. The evaluation of the experiment includes statistics on pupils' motivation to solve the tasks and pupils' success in solving the task. Financial mathematics at lower secondary level

This thesis Financial Mathematics at lower secondary level focuses on financial mathematics at lower secondary level. The first part consists of two chapters. The first chapter describes financial mathematics and its importance for financial literacy. The second chapter presents research of textbooks in which there is the financial mathematics topic. The second part of the thesis describes pedagogical experiment aimed to determine how a selected group of pupils cope the tasks and problems from financial mathematics. The tasks and problems in this section were posed by the author of the thesis. The evaluation of the experiment is based on students' work samples. The last chapter describes teaching of financial mathematics in two classes at lower secondary level.
