Senior tourism

This diploma thesis analyzes the senior tourism, its development, status, structure and perceptions of accommodation facility owners. We used leisure development and the evolution of older people (55 years and 65 years) for the theoretical framing theory. We also used development funds and the theory of subjective and real age for better explaining the actual trends. The methodology of thesis was based on a survey, informal interviews and email survey. A questionnaire survey was conducted on two levels. The first aims directly at senior citizens (240 respondents) and the second at the owners of accommodation facilities. An important source of information was informal conversation among the elderly. These interviews helped to clarify and to explain phenomena that were discovered in surveys. Another source of information was planned as a telephone poll of travel agents. However, for fear of misuse of data and retaining its "know-how" there were no results and this method of information obtaining was avoided. A very important source of information were reviews of Czech and foreign literature. Finally, I used and Internet sources. Healthy lifestyle of young population

Main object of this bachelor thesis is to describe lifestyle of today's young population and to analyse how the chosen institution provides healthy lifestyle for its youth. The first, theoretical part describes topics such as health, nutrition, eating habits and activity of the young population. The practical part analysis Home of children and youth, Prague 5. Thesis explains what kind of activities the institution does for health of its young people and further analysis is done according to B. K. Malinovski. Next step of the practical part is to analyse BMI of young athletes. And by studying documents such as annual report and other documents is evaluated whether the organisation fulfills its commitment or not.

Economic and social connections of suburbanization in municipality Lety

The aim of this thesis is to create optimal strategy of developement of municipality Lety which is located in suburban area of Prague given suburbanization processes. This paper is focused on economic, social and environmental consequences. The theoretical part is focused on main parameters of suburbanization, its developement in the world and in the Czech Republic, further on types of suburbanization, measurement, causes and consequences. The practical part is focused on a municipality Lety which must face suburbanization processes since 90s. This situation is compared with neighboring municipalities Řevnice, Dobřichovice and Černošice. Based on the findings is created optimal plan of future develepoment municipality Lety which is consistent with its strategical and spatial plan. The methods that has been used on this topic were literature review, data analysis, comparison and observation. To process the data, official statistics were also used.

Is Slevomat.cz an effective marketing instrument?

Some firms, specifically 19,42 %, are reaching a loss after the promotion on the group buying site Slevomat.cz. A possible explanation is unsuitability of Slevomat.cz as a marketing instrument for all types of traders. A crucial factor for business profit is, in many cases, another purchase made by customers for the undiscounted price. The results suggest that on the return of customers to another purchase have a positive effect size of the company, offered type of goods/services, employee satisfaction and the number of newly acquired customers through promotion. An important determinant of customers return has proven to be the profit made by cooperation with Slevomat.cz and the relative discount rate. Contrary the number of sold vouchers has no impact on return of customers. Thus for the advertising company is helpful to set the optimal combination of discount rate and the maximum number of offered coupons.

Distinctions in culture and commerce of The Principality of Liechtenstein

This thesis evaluates basic data about the Principality of Liechtenstein. Above all it presents the distinctions in the area of its culture and commerce. It also provides readers with findings about this country with a very specific features of behavior and these might be very useful in future's trading with this country. First chapter handles with macroeconomic data, history and country's develpment. Second chapter contains cultural specification and leads into the specification of Principality's commerce in last chapter.
