Continuous Welded Rail in Curves of Small Radii
Chudějová, Ludmila ; Plášek, Otto ; Murínová, Klára ; Koudelová, Kateřina ; Jedlička, Michal
This paper provides a comprehensive review of the theory of continuous welded rail (CWR) mechanics and summarizes research results published to date with a focus on the stability of continuous welded rail. Axial forces arise mainly due to temperature changes and can cause rail crack in low winter temperatures or track buckling in high summer temperatures. The results of static analyses of the stability of CWR for small radii are presented. Reduced stability is typical of curves of small radius (R < 300 m) where the lateral resistance of the track and the bending stiffness are exceeded. In curves of very small radii, lateral displacements of the track have been observed which reduce the axial forces in the track and thus reduce the risk of track buckling.
Dynamic Analysis of Track
Kulich, Pavel ; Salajka, Vlastislav (referee) ; Plášek, Otto (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with analytical description of vehicle - track dynamic interface. There are described basic analytical models which are subsequently extended in order to get a more precise description of dynamic phenomena. The aim is to compile a model that faithfully describes the dynamic phenomena in the track. These new compiled models are qualitatively compared with data obtained by measuring in the track.
Design of Modernization of Bohuslavice nad Vláří Railway Station
Štěpán, Jan ; Pur, Kamil (referee) ; Plášek, Otto (advisor)
The focus of the thesis is to design a modernization of the Bohuslavice nad Vláří train station. The reconstruction design includes an adjustment of the station head and the geometrical layout of the track for an increase of the track speed to the highest possible value. The design also contains a renewal of the railway superstructure and the structure of the sleeper subsoil, new drainage and platforms. The designed layout ensures a safe access for people with reduced mobility.
Design of Optimization of Častolovice – Solnice Track Section km 9,4 – 11,6
Faltýnek, Petr ; Burda, Petr (referee) ; Plášek, Otto (advisor)
Design of optimization of Častolovice – Solnice track section km 9,4 – 11,6. The proposal to increase the line speed to the maximum possible value, composition of the railway superstructure and a proposal for the type of structure of railway level crossings. In the selected section of the proposed reconstruction of the stop Rychnov nad Kněžnou. Design of reconstruction of drainage.
Dynamic analysis of track
Mojžíšek, Dominik ; Salajka, Vlastislav (referee) ; Plášek, Otto (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with descriptions of vehicle - track dynamic interface. There are described basic analytical models of railway track. The numerical models are created by using finite element methods with moving load simulated axle of rail vehicle. The aim of thesis is to create the model which most accurately describes the dynamic phenomena in the track. The results from models are compared with data obtained by measuring in the track. Next aim of thesis is to determine dependency of rail cross-sectional characteristics on equivalent rail head wear and then on rail deflection.
Tram Transport Serving as a City-forming Element
Csiba, Emese ; Plášek, Otto (referee) ; Valehrach, Jan (advisor)
The topic of this bachelor thesis is the description of existing solutions of individual structures in the field of tram transport. It is a catalogue of possible solutions for tram lines and stops and their basic comparison. The thesis includes analyses of existing designs of stops, alignments of different types of track, etc. and their assessment in terms of creating public spaces with tram transport.
Design of Modernization of Polička Railway Station
Zvejška, Ivo ; Burda, Petr (referee) ; Plášek, Otto (advisor)
The goal of the diploma thesis is a design of the reconstruction of the Polička railway station in aim to fulfil the requirements for the movement of people with reduced mobility. It was necessary to design platforms with a height of the platform edge 550 mm above rail level. It was also required to increase the design speed in main tracks as well as to reconstruct conections of sidings. There was also included the design of reconstruction of drainage system of railway tracks.
Monitoring of Quality of Track Geometry Parameters in Sections with Under Sleeper Pads
Grygar, Zdeněk ; Trejtnar, Radek (referee) ; Plášek, Otto (advisor)
The thesis is dedicated to the evaluation of quality of geometrical parameters of track in the section with under sleeps pads and comparability of the results of levelling and results of track recording car. The thesis summarizes results of levelling and results of track recording car in both Havlíčkův Brod - Okrouhlice test section and Planá nad Lužnicí railway station and their evaluations.
Design of Modernization of Čadca Railway Station
Juchelková, Lenka ; Šestáková,, Janka (referee) ; Plášek, Otto (advisor)
The master´s thesis deals with a design of modernization of Čadca railway station. Content of the thesis is the design of reconstruction of station heads, increasing the speed in the main tracks to 140 km/h, removal of level crossings for passengers at platforms access and the width adjustment arrangement of the platforms for the safe movement of people with reduced mobility.
Analysis of the procedure for design of trackbed
Svobodová, Nikola ; Břešťovský,, Petr (referee) ; Plášek, Otto (advisor)
The diploma thesis focuses on analysing the current Railway Infrastructure Administration methodology for designing the sleeper substructure concerning the construction's deformation resistance, its comparison with the multi-layered method, which is used in the road engineering and finite element method. It deals with various methodologies of determining the deformation resistance of the track substructure.
