Implementation of process analysis of BORM OR diagrams
Maxa, Oskar ; Zavoral, Filip (advisor) ; Pergl, Robert (referee)
This thesis concerns itself with modeling, analysis and simulation of business processes using the BORM method. In its theoretical part, we develop a formal model for the current implementation of the OR diagram used by the method, and describe its transformation into the prefix machine, a simplified formalism presented in preceding research on which this thesis builds. Upon this foundation, a new simulation algorithm is developed which addresses and fixes several important shortcomings of previous implementations. The algorithm is implemented as part of a web portal for the management of process diagrams, and its functionality and performance are subsequently verified. This thesis' theoretical results further open the door to future realization of validation algorithms which can be utilized in practice during both modeling and simulation of processes. Automated GUI Generation for functional data structures
Podloucký, Martin ; Pergl, Robert (advisor) ; Hric, Jan (referee)
This thesis addresses the problem of automated graphical user interface generation for functional programs. First an analysis of current state in the field of automated GUI generation is performed. Based on the analysis the concept of Functionally Structured User Interface (FSUI) is introduced. Meta-data system for code annotation is then specified for the Clojure programming language and a transformation from this system to FSUI data model is implemented. Finally a graphical layer for displaying the actual interface is implemented in Clojure. Benefits of this approach are demonstrated by proof-of-concept case study.

Vulnerability assesment and preventive measures of cultural heritage against flooding
Nedvědová, Klára ; Frankl, Jiří ; Balík, L. ; Šimůnek, O. ; Herbstová, Vladislava ; Kopecká, I. ; Pergl, R. ; Drdácký, Tomáš
One of the preconditions for successful planning is to estimate the risk of flood damage with regard to the construction resilience and constituent materials of historical objects. The output of this phase is software application and methodology for classifying the rate risk of specific constructions and materials and a reasonable estimate of risk diversification in different parts of the building. A special attention is paid to prevention and it tends to recommend suitable measures for different situations.

Cultural heritage and flood
Nedvědová, Klára ; Pergl, R.
Floods impose a significant risk to buildings sustainability. Due to climate changes this issue becomes a topic for more and more areas. Among various categories, cultural heritage is especially vulnerable because its assets cannot be reproduced. This contribution discusses some resuts of the ongoing research project focused on protection of cultural heritage from flood danger. One of the crucial goals of the project is the design and development of a methodology and supporting software application for analysing building and materiál vulnerability to floods. During the research several experts from various areas of materials engineering contributed to an extensive knowledge base covering the most important materials related to immovable constructs, and movable objects.
Analysis of vulnerability of cultural heritage against floods
Nedvědová, Klára ; Herbstová, Vladislava ; Frankl, Jiří ; Pergl, R.
Introducing first part of the project Methodology of Protection and Rescue of Cultural Heritage against Flood dealing with creating catalogue of damage on cultural heritage due to floods. The aim of this catalogue is to collect, synthesize and analyze possible known information about the damage linked with a particular object of protection and material.
Evaluation of information system with special concern in effectiveness
Pobuda, Petr ; Bruckner, Tomáš (advisor) ; Pergl, Robert (referee)
The goal of this thesis is to work up an overview about problematic relating to evaluation of use and effectiveness of IS/IT in organization. The accent in analyzing and evaluating is placed on soft metrics of IS/IT and its character. Author creates a task to specify and make clear why to evaluate IS/IT and which utility such evaluation brings. Other goal is to explain possible approaches of evaluating and the differences between them. The thesis is divided into two logical parts. First part contains theoretical base focused on soft metrics of measuring IS/IT. The second part is focused on describing practical measurement of IS/IT in organization. For full description of given area, author presents important aspects of public sector and significant law restrictions. This thesis presents one of the possible approaches to evaluate IS/IT in organization. Its benefit lies in connecting theoretical base with practical example, which author considers "best practice" in area of elaborated problematic.

Analýzy trhu Business Intelligence
Závodný, Martin ; Pour, Jan (advisor) ; Pergl, Robert (referee)
