Count Franz Anton Spork - a representative of Jansenism and of the religions tolerance

The present M. A. theses COUNT FRANZ ANTON SPORCK - SUPPORTER OF JANSENISM THOUGHTS AND RELIGIOUS TOLERANCE deals with Baroque period, the so called "Bohemian Baroque" in the 17th - 18th century, and ends at the beginning of the Enlightenment. On the main representatives of the Czech lands was Count Franz Anton Sporck. The first chapter looks at the emergence of the movement of Jansenism, founded by Cornelius Otto Jansen, and mentions the root movement within the environment of the University of Leuven. Cornelius Otto Jansen influenced French Jansenism which had been led by Jean-Antoine Duvergier de Hauranne (First Abbe de Saint-Cyran) at the monastery of Port-Royal des Champs, and a major French personality of the movement. The other major figures were Martin de Barcos, Antoine Arnauld, Blaise Pascal and Pasquier Quesnel, who were influenced by the Jansenism environment in the Czech lands. At the same time, the first chapter focuses on the Jesuit Order, which acts as a counterpoint to the same idea of Catholic reform during the time of post Trident. In the second chapter, the personalities of Czech Jansenism - Valerian Magni and Jerome Hirnhaim are introduced. The Issue of Adolescent Self-harm in Comparism of Regular School and Facility for Kids with Behavioral Disorders

A b s t r a c t ZIMMERMANNOVÁ, Táňa. The Issue of Adolescent Self-harm in Comparism of Regular School and Facility for Kids with Behavioral Disorders. Praha: Hussite Theological Faculty, The Charles University, 2014. pp 80. Diploma Dissertation. The thesis is focused on the phenomenon of adolescent self-harm, concerning its prevalence among normal and problematic youth, and also the knowledge of professionals who work with youth. The research is divided in two parts. The first one maps the incidence of self-harm among pupils of a secondary school in comparison with clients of Facility for Kids with Behavioral Disorders in Chrudim and is processed using a standardized questionnaire called Self-Harm Invetory (SHI, 1998). The results show that there is nosignificant difference between normal and troubled youth in the prevalence of the risk behavior itself, but typically self-harm practices are already several times more prevalent among youth with behavioral disorders.It aims to find out whether it can be assumed that self-harm threatens only adolescents with special needs and if it is a marginal issue in general population. Utilization Of The Sociotheraputic Farm For The Provision Of Sheltered And Training Positions For People With Disabilities In The Toulcuv Dvur Centre For Environmental Education

The thesis addresses the topic of employment of persons with disabilities on sheltered and training positions. Its intention is to draw attention to the importance of employment in the life of these people, the importance of raising public awareness and the necessity to establish a responsive attitude of the public as well as employers in this sphere. The thesis provides a theoretical background for the issues of employment of the disabled. It intentionally explains the term of vocational rehabilitation in a broader context of active employment policy and as an element of complex rehabilitation. The thesis characterises the sphere of social entrepreneurship as one of the options where the creation of sheltered and training positions may form a central programme of an enterprise. It presents operational programmes which currently enable the creation of training positions. The thesis includes characteristics of a selected entity where training and sheltered positions are implemented on a sociotherapeutic farm. The practical section of the thesis describes the possible ways of utilising the sociotherapeutic farm in the employment of individuals with disabilities. ThDr. Marketa Langer Praha, 2018 THE THEOLOGICAL LEGACY OF CZECH MODERNISM IN THE LIFE AND WORK OF FRANTIŠEK BÍLEK ABSTRACT This thesis looks at the life and work of the artist Frantisek B lek in relation to the theological legacy of Czech Catholic modernism at the end of the nineteenth and early twentieth century over three chapters. Its objective is to answer three questions: Was the artist the mystic he was perceived to be at the time? Can he be termed a modernist? What were his reasons for joining the Czechoslovak Church when it was founded in 1920? The study uses the method of hypotheses which are stated in advance in the questions posed, and then subsequently tested. Another method used is an analysis and comparison of the approach and attitudes of Czech society to the artist during his life. The introductory chapter describes the study's key indicators with a brief description of the issues, and also the form and structure used. Part A looks at the environment during the emergence of modern Europe; in particular the conditions giving rise to the struggle for modernism, the circumstances of the First Vatican Council, the Czech Catholic reform movement and the European modernism movement in relation to the central subject of this thesis, artist Frantisek B lek.
