The problem of cyber security in the EU industrial environment
To bude tvořit součást celkové analýzy IT rizik, která v konečném důsledku posílí technologická bezpečnostní opatření prostřednictvím metody FMEA.
Stress-deformation analysis of the indoor basketball construction
Kubíček, Daniel ; Kovář, Jaroslav (referee) ; Fuis, Vladimír (advisor)
The topic of this thesis is stress-strain analysis of a basketball structure in a gymnasium. This structure is divided into two parts. One part is modeled as a spatial bar system. The other part is modeled as a plane bar system. The first part of the paper deals with the research on the use of bar systems in sports. This is followed by the development of analytical computational models of the spatial and plane bar systems. These models are then used to calculate three different loading conditions. Subsequently, the models are developed for numerical solution. In the last part of this work, the analytical solution is verified by the numerical solution.
Strain and stress analysis of the effect of cementoplasty after intralesional resection of metastasis in long bones
Hrušková, Zuzana ; Kovář, Jaroslav (referee) ; Boháč, Petr (advisor)
This final thesis deals with the stress – strain analysis of the impact of cementoplasty on the femur after intralesional resection of bone metastasis. The first part provides a brief review introducing the issue of using computational modeling in static analyses of the femur. The second part describes the knowledge necessary to understand the issue, including the anatomy of the femur, the structure of bone tissues, the procedure of cementoplasty, and the basic properties of bone cements. The third part details the process of creating the computational model – geometry creation, finite element meshing, material properties and the selection of loads and boundary conditions. The final part presents and analyzes the results of the equivalent stain of the femur and evaluates the results based on Frost's hypothesis.
Analysis of boundary conditions of biomechanical models of the lumbar spine
Kocián, Ondřej ; Kovář, Jaroslav (referee) ; Vosynek, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with a research study of biomechanical models of the lumbar spine. After a brief anatomical introduction, this thesis describes the process of building computational models for finite element analysis and what material properties of individual tissues are usually reported in the analyses. Subsequently, boundary conditions, i.e. more precisely, constraints and different types of loading and their influence on the model behaviour are described in order to provide the most accurate interpretation with respect to the actual behaviour of the lumbar spine. The most accurate method of loading the spine appears to be the introduction of a force flow through the instantaneous centres of rotation of each vertebra, based on a research study. In the last section, an experimental attempt is carried out on a computational model with a single loading force changing its location in order to better interpret the positions of the instantaneous centres of rotation. This method can sufficiently approximate the force states in the contact surfaces. However, it needs to be experimentally verified.
Using virtual reality as a guide for machine operation
Lapčík, David ; Marek, Jiří (referee) ; Kovář, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis examines the use of virtual reality as a guide for machine operation. The primary aim is to analyze and evaluate existing approaches and propose improvements based on user feedback. The work includes an analysis of typical auxiliary instructions in machine operation manuals and an assessment of the AROS technology capabilities. Based on the statistical processing of user feedback, improvements to the virtual reality interface were proposed to meet the needs of machine operation. The outcome is the creation of a scenario for a selected set of manuals for the AROS technology, intended to enhance efficiency and safety in machine use.

Kovář, Jan ; Šplíchal, Miroslav (referee) ; Vosecký, Slavomír (advisor)
This master thesis focuses on the analysis of specialized courses for specialists in the operation of air traffic control technology at the Brno Aviation Institute. It analyses the requirements for the output profile of the ideal specialist and examines the changes in the specialist subjects DLG, DRN, ERN, OLN and OZL brought about by the dynamic developments in the field of air traffic operations.
Stress and deformation analyses of the bridge near the Jedov mill
Hort, Michal ; Kovář, Jaroslav (referee) ; Fuis, Vladimír (advisor)
Bridges serve to many people every day, so it is necessary to be concerned about theirsafety. Analysis of bridge superstructures are used to increase their safety - and this is also the mainsubject of this thesis. Specifically, it is the analysis of the pedestrian bridge located near Jedov Mill on the Oslava river. For the stress and strain calculations, the method of joints is used, and that iscompared with the finite element method. During the comparison of the methods which hadbeen used, it was found, that the method of joints is suitable for identifying critical points, but cannot accurately determine stress values. While the finite element method can both, identify critical locations and determine the exact stress values. These calculations determinedthe critical locations on the footbridge, which are in the outmost members of the structure. By enlarge their cross-section would increase the safety of the structure. Among the critical trusses do not belong trusses damaged by the footbridge crash. The safety factor of the pedestrian bridge to the elasticity limit state, which is k = 1.74, provides a sufficient reserve for the further use of the footbridge, even if the cross-sections of the above mentioned members are not increased.
Computational Modeling of Nanoindentation
Kovář, Jaroslav ; Čech,, Jaroslav (referee) ; Dlouhý, Ivo (referee) ; Fuis, Vladimír (advisor)
Doctoral thesis is aimed on the computation modelling of a nanoindentation test. The informa-tional research of nanoindentation test and analytical models, which were used for derivation of the formulas for evaluation of measured data, is done in the introduction. Analytical models were derived with few simplifying assumptions, whose influence was analyzed in the computa-tional part of the thesis. This part is aimed on the computational modelling of nanoindentation test with the use of finite element method, especially the nanoindentation test of fused silica, steel and thin layers deposited on substrate. These models were used for refinement of calculations by the influence of radial displacements under the tip of indenter and correction coefficient for the indenter shape. In the next part, the influence of the indenter bluntness and tilt on its shape function was analyzed. The last part of the thesis dealing with thin layers was aimed on the verification of one tenth rule of thumb for determination of reduced modulus and hardness with the blunted and ideal Berkovich indenter.
