Detached house
Jonáš, Pavel ; Vahalová, Eva (referee) ; Kolář, Radim (advisor)
This project solves the detached house. The detached house is situated in the village Rabštejnská Lhota. It is built of bricks POROTHERM. Perimeter walls are insulated by EPS insulation. The building consists of two floors and one underground floor. The roof is saddle roof. Ground plan area of the building is 112 square meters.

Development of industry and infrastructure in Lysá nad Labem in the period 1848-1918
Jonáš, Pavel ; Jakubec, Ivan (advisor) ; Štemberk, Jan (referee)
The thesis is about the development of railway infrastructure and the industry complexes in Lysá nad Labem and its nearer and further neighborhood. The part about the railway infrastructure focus on main and until today important railways which were build by companies with wider influence, not only in the close vicinity of Lysá nad Labem, then it is about the projects of local railways in the old districts of Nové Benátky and Mladá Boleslav. The part about the industrial complexes concentrate on the two companies, which were located in Lysá nad Labem: Peasant sugar factory and industry company named special plow factory, their corespondation with the autorities and also their inner laws and regulations. The thesis is situated into the period between 1848 and 1918, because in this period the industrial revolution was at its highest.

Wind-tunnel Modelling of Turbulent Flow Inside the Street Canyon
Kellnerová, Radka ; Jaňour, Zbyněk (advisor) ; Brechler, Josef (referee) ; Jonáš, Pavel (referee)
Turbulent flow inside a street canyon was investigated in an open circuit wind tunnel and in a blow-down wind channel. Two geometries were used for comparison purposes: buildings with pitched roofs and with flat roofs. Both generate the flow of a different category, so the induced ventilation regimes are fundamentally different. Quadrant, Fourier and Wavelet analysis, Proper Orthogonal Decomposition (POD) and vortex detection methods are used to identify coherent structures in the flow and establish their impact on the ventilation of pollution. Two types of the organised motions are detected: the compact areas of sweep and ejection with the scale comparable to the size of building and the small vortices generated in the shear layer behind the building roof. POD identifies the most dominant modes with high coherency in the flow and evaluates the relative contributions of each mode to the overall kinetic energy of turbulence. Rigorous analysis of the correctness of the physical interpretation for such a decomposition is carried out. Wavelet analysis is applied to the time-series of the POD expansion coefficients in order to reveal control mechanism of the dynamics of the modes. Vorticity, calculated from the original velocity data, is decomposed by POD as well. Finally, the correlation between the vorticity...

A comment on the flat plate leading edge shape on laminar-turbulent transition
Antoš, Pavel ; Jonáš, Pavel ; Procházka, Pavel P.
Laminar-turbulent transition region is investigated in zero pressure gradient boundary layers developing on flat plates with different shapes of leading edges namely with the elliptical profile; the superelliptical one and with the thin circle profile. The mean flow field characteristics are presented and discussed. Near downstream from the leading edge are mean velocity profiles very similar to the Blasius solution in all compared configurations. The dramatic effect of the leading edge is ascertained in the beginning of the skin friction coefficient deflection from the course after Blasius solution. The start of deflection is moving downstream in sequence: elliptic – super-elliptic – circle shape. The length of the transitional region shortens in the opposed sequence.
