The theoretical part of the thesis contains a brief definition of the second language acquisition, description of various approaches to this issue and the basic differences between first and second language acquisition. The practical part comprises analysis of the results of the questionnaire that was designed specifically for the purpose of the thesis and which is included in the appendix. The results are analyzed from different perspectives and synthesis of those should offer objective information about the existence, or nonexistence, of the aforementioned correlation.
