The topic of this thesis is a relation between two constitutive aspects of out existence: death and intersubjectivity. The way how to research these issues is an interpretation of main concepts and notions contained in these texts. On the basis of the comparison of these concepts, notions and whole philosophical stands offers this thesis a perspective of comprehension to the topic of death and intersubjectivity.
The Concept of Hope Between Jan Patocka and Jürgen Moltmann

This bachelor thesis researches the concept of hope in work of two authors, Jana Patočka and Jürgen Moltmann. It wants to present hope as an inherent part of human existence. Secondly it wants to explain why is hope such a specific topic how should the specific methods researching hope look like. Therefore this thesis discuss constitutive philosophical phenomenons of hope (experience, historicity, future, openess and alterity) and theological themes (cricifixion, resurrection, Jesus Christ, triunity of God, promise, new creation, God's activity in our world, exodus and following). Richard Kearney's Concept of Possible God.

This thesis concerns with problem of Richard Kearney's concept of Possible God and it's adequacy for post-secular Christian spirituality. The main question is, if Kearney's concept can develop in contemporary situation the experience of spiritual seeking in concrete situations and relationship with others with spiritual transcendence. Therefore, this thesis begins with examining philosophical suppositions and principles of the concept of Possible God, which are based on seeking of middle way between philosophical metaphysics and negative theology; key topic of this part is notion of desire. Subsequently the theology of weak God is presented as a rehabilitation of Christianity's provocative character enabling to found contemporary spirituality authentically and meaningfully and to clear away different historical distortions; main point of here is theology of the cross and kenosis. Final chapter concerns on practical applications of Kearney's theological principles through the motif of hospitality; the key theme is therapeutic potential of imagination. In conclusion the concept of Possible God is critically discussed and new possibilities of it's developing are acquainted.

Problem of self-fullfillment in the philosophy of Jan Patočka

Topic of this thesis is problem of self­fullfiment or a question what does it mean to live meaningful life. The problem will be dealed with texts of Jan Patočka which are summed up in a conception called Negative Platonism. Patočka tries to solve this question by discussion with existencialists and by searching main sense of metaphysics. His own ideas are formulated especially by describing Socrates and Plato's terms Idea and chorismos. After analyzing Patočka's text I will deal with the question of specifics of Patočka's philosophy and his own help to understand the problem of self­ fullfilment. This topic will be expanded on self­fullfilment as a task of our whole life concentrated on relation to transcendence.
