Vliv věku holštýnských jalovic při prvním otelení na jejich mléčnou užitkovost
Dvořák, Jan
In this thesis, the effect of age at first calving on milk yield of dairy cows on the first lactation in Holstein cattle breed was analyzed. Among the monitored performance parameters were included milk, fat and protein production, lactation length, linear score count of somatic cell and Holstein cattle selection index. For the group of 1023 animals (kept on two farms) there was a trend of increasing yield (from 8938 to 13410 kg) with increasing age at first calving (from 17 to 35 months). The same was true for the selected sample of 757 animals consisting only of calved animals aged 22 to 25 months. At the age of 22 months their performance was 10062 kg and at the age of 25 months it was 10674 kg. In individual years (from 2016 to 2018) the trend of milk yield decreased (from 10387 to 9981 kg). The linear somatic cell count score was 2.89 for the first year, 2.86 for the second year, and 2.92 for the third year. The selection index of Holstein cattle had a downward trend (from 110.62 to 110.34). The milk yield of dairy cows on the farm in Radostin nad Oslavou was 11044 kg and in Pavlov 9607 kg.

Kalfasová, Daniela ; Dvořák, Jan (advisor) ; Laštůvka, Zdeněk (referee)
My bachelor thesis deals with the issue of episiotomy and its impact on the health of women who have given birth spontaneously. An episiotomy is an obstetric procedure that was often routinely performed in the past, but in recent years has become the subject of research regarding its long-term consequences on women's health. My thesis consists of two parts - theoretical and research. The theoretical part includes anatomy of the pelvic floor, definition of episiotomy and its historical development. It also contains information about the possibilities of prevention of birth injury and faster recovery from the resulting injury. The research part is developed in the form of an online questionnaire that was posted on social media groups related to pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum. The questions were formulated in such a way that women could choose from multiple options or provide open-ended answers. The questionnaire was intended only for women who had given birth spontaneously. The main aim of the research was to find out how episiotomy affects the physical, psychological and sexual aspects of a woman's life compared to women who did not have an episiotomy. A sub-objective was to find out whether women who had birth injury had a good information about faster recovery from the resulting injury. The...
