Báčová, Tereza
The topic of this bachelor thesis is to approach the issue of burnout syndrome in secondary school teachers. The bachelor thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part contains a brief summary of information about the teaching profession, especially about its history and demands. However, the thesis focuses in more detail on burnout syndrome in secondary school teachers. The causes, symptoms, stages, diagnostic methods, treatment options and information on how to prevent burnout syndrome are presented. The practical part of the thesis includes quantitative research, which determines whether and to what extent burnout syndrome occurs among secondary school teachers in the South Moravian Region. The questionnaire survey shows that in the three areas of burnout examined (personal, work-related, student-related), the teachers as a whole did not show the occurrence of burnout syndrome. Further, there was a finding that females were more prone to burnout syndrome than males. Teachers with 11-20 years of experience suffer from burnout the most. It was further found that educators from medical school are most vulnerable to burnout syndrome. Indirect teaching activities have a strong influence on burnout. The research on overall burnout did not show the occurrence of burnout in the sample of educators studied, however, the individual assessment of each respondent varied, with some not burned out while others showed very strong burnout.

Báčová, Tereza ; Nigrin, Tomáš (advisor) ; Mynaříková, Romana (referee)
The conflicted question of German political capital has been discussed on numerous times. Its most dramatic time came when it got bound by the ideological and territorial turmoils during the Cold War era of the 20th century. Presented thesis "Die deutsche Hauptstadtfrage Bonn versus Berlin; Der Beschluss über den Regierungs- und Parlamentssitz des vereinten Deutschlands" deals with this German inner political debate about the political capital in its so far the last stage, where two candidates Bonn and Berlin had a run for it. The perspective of gradual evolution of the debate from its beginning in year 1989 is used to clarify the final decision and a vote to make Berlin the capital city as well as the seat of the united government and the parliament. Thesis concludes, that there was a number of crucial factors which played their part even prior to the vote for Berlin (Unification Agreement, political power of some prominent politicians, compromise bill of the Berlin Party etc.) as well as it was the very strong rhetorical, argumentative and emotional power shown by Berlin's...

Báčová, Tereza ; Köpplová, Barbara (advisor) ; Cebe, Jan (referee)
The diploma thesis The publishing house Axel Springer and its transformation into a digital house focuses on the gradual transformation of a the German publishing house Axel Springer from a traditional publisher of printed media into the digital house it is today. The thesis analyzes its business activities and offers a periodized overview of the house's dominant business strategies from the moment it was established in 1946 to 2014. Simultaneously, the thesis presents the chronological development of the house's product portfolio. It is this record of the house's historical and current portfolio which discovers not only the changes in the structure of revenues, but also the house's shift from its original object of enterprise. In the case of Axel Springer, the transformation is characterized with a transfer of the principles of media enterprise into the digital environment - within which the focus was broadened from media projects to non-media projects as well. Economically speaking, this strategy has been successful, as in 2014 the house generated more than 70% of its overall profit (EBITDA) from its digital activities. At the same time the thesis proves in a critical manner that the digital transformation of Axel Springer is not a result of successful digital transformation of the way the...
