The concept and legal consequences of exceeding the scope of self-defence and necessity
Žůrek, Jiří ; Vokoun, Rudolf (advisor) ; Herczeg, Jiří (referee)
Concept and the legal consequences of breaching the limits of necessary defense and extreme emergency The necessary defense and extreme emergency are institutes, which quarantee indemnity to acting person in the situation of necessary defense and extreme emergency. Both insitutes have long tradition in law orders all over the world. The limits of acting in necessary defense and extreme emergency are set up little differenlty in each country. Breaching of the limits necessary defense or extreme emergency occurs, if the offender commits the offense diverting attack or other danger without being fully met the conditions necessary defense or extreme emergency. The person is entitled to act in the necessary defense or extreme emergency, if complied with statutory requirements (conditions) which are defined in penal code and can not breakes the limits of necessary defense or extreme emergency. A crucial condition for the situation of necessary defense is directly threatening or continuing attack on the interests protected by penal code, in case of extreme emergency is a danger directly threatening to the interests protected by penal code. If a person is in such situation, can act within the limits of necessary defense, that means that necessary defence must be not fully evidently unreasonable, or in case of...
Separation of rotamers of 5-nitrosopyrimidines by capillary electrophoresis
Štěpánová, Sille ; Procházková, Eliška ; Čechová, Lucie ; Žurek, Jiří ; Janeba, Zlatko ; Dračínský, Martin ; Kašička, Václav
A new capillary electrophoresis (CE) method was developed for the separation of a new type of stereoisomers - rotamers of polysubstituted 5-nitrosopyrimidine derivatives. Partial separation of some rotamers was obtained in sodium borate, pH 9.3, or in Tris-phosphate, pH 2.2, background electrolytes (BGEs) free of cyclodextrins (CDs). However, the best, baseline separations of the rotamers of 5-nitrosopyrimidines were achieved in sodium borate BGE, pH 9.3, containing 20 mg/mL beta-CD as stereoselector, or in Tris-phosphate BGE, pH 2.2, with carboxymethyl-beta-CD as stereoselector.
Personal data protection in labor relations
Žůrek, Jiří ; Štangová, Věra (advisor) ; Vysokajová, Margerita (referee)
The author deals with issues of personal data processing in labor relations and the problems which arise in everyday practice. A substantial part of the work is about subjects which are processing personal data and their particular responsibilities. The author proceeds from relevant decisions and opinions of the supervisory body, the Office for Personal Data Protection. The thesis also analyzes particular personal data which are processed by the employer. In this context the author analyzes in detail the decision of the Supreme Administrative Court in connection with the issue of communicating of salaries and compensation of civil servants under the Act No. 106/1999 Coll. Freedom on Information, as amended. The author concluded that the current wording of Act No. 106/1999 Coll. can't be used to communicate the information on salary or remuneration of state employees. The last chapter is dedicated to possibilities of using modern means used to protect the rights and legitimate interests of employers, which process personal data of employees. In this regard, the author expresses opinion on the appropriateness of adopting special legislation that would regulate unequivocally the possibility to use these modern means in labor relations.
Jan Kameník's poetic work
El-Dunia, Zita ; Červenka, Miroslav (advisor) ; Vojvodík, Josef (referee) ; Žůrek, Jiří (referee)
The topic of my thesis is the body of poetic works by Jan Kameník, which was a pen-name of Ludmila Macešková (1898-1974). Jan Kameník's poetic works consist of five collections of poetry; they are frequently classified as unusually distinctive and unique in the Czech literary context. My thesis asks two related questions: "where does Jan Kameník fit in to the Czech literary context" and "what is the relationship between mystique and poetry in Kameník's literary work". My fundamental methodological point was an examination of the "aesthetic content" as applied by Josef Vojvodík in his monograph From Aestheticism to Eschaton. Models of the World and Existence in the Lyrical Work by Otokar Březina. Symbolic Paradigm Reconstruction (2004). In the case of Jan Kameník/ Ludmila Macešková, the issue of the subject comes forward in specific contexts and in relation to the male stylisation in a female author's texts under her male pen-name. To grasp the problem issues of the subject in Jan Kameník's poetry, I applied studies by Miroslav Červenka, Marie Kubínova and Vladimír Macura presented in the bulletin, Proměny subjektu (Metamorphoses of the Subject) (1994). By giving a view of a wider cultural and literary context, evaluation of Kameník research so far and my own interpretation of Kameník's poetry collections, I...

Synthesis and biological properties of polysubstituted 5-nitrosopyrimidines
Janeba, Zlatko ; Čechová, Lucie ; Žurek, Jiří ; Procházková, Eliška ; Dračínský, Martin
2,4,6-Triamino-5-nitrosopyrimidines have been reported to contain a strong intramolecular hydrogen bond between the 5-nitroso and 4- or 6-amino groups, thus forming an additional pseudoring. Such analogues were speculated to be good mimics of fused bicyclic derivatives, e.g. purines. A series of novel polysubstituted 2-amino-5-nitrosopyrimidines, as potential structural mimics of modifi ed purine nucleos(t)ides well-known for their important biological properties, has been designed and synthesized. The physicochemical and biological properties of the prepared polysubstituted 2-amino-5-nitrosopyrimidines are being evaluated.
Switchable intramolecular hydrogen bond in polysubstituted 5-nitrosopyrimidines
Procházková, Eliška ; Čechová, Lucie ; Žurek, Jiří ; Janeba, Zlatko ; Dračínský, Martin
The formation of strong intramolecular hydrogen bonds was observed in a series of 2-amino-5-nitrosopyrimidines with alkylamino and arylamino substituents in the positions 4 and 6. Mixtures of two rotamers differing in the orientation of the nitroso group were observed in the NMR spectra of the compounds where two distinct intramolecular hydrogen bonds could be formed. In several cases, we were able to isolate and characterize the two hydrogen bond isomers (two conformers) by column chromatography. The ratio of the two rotamers in equilibrium depends strongly on the character of the substituents in the positions 4 and 6 and can be finely tuned in a broad range of conformation ratios. The experimental results were supported by DFT calculations.
