How Children Live in Children's Homes and How Spend Their Leisure Time
Šutová, Jitka ; Neudörflová, Jana (advisor) ; Nejedlá, Dana (referee)
This work is divided in two parts - theoretical part and research. In the first part I would like to show the life of children in Children ́s Homes. The employees of Children ́s Homes try to motivate children and lead them to various hobbies and leisure activities. In the second part I try to find out what are the interests and hobbies of children. The purpose of this study is to give a full picture of life of children in Children ́s Homes, including how they spend their leisure time. Based on research performed by giving the special questionnaire to 64 children from three different Children ́s Homes I believe that the Children ́s Homes offer to its children enough leisure time activities. Children ́s Homes offer various sport, recreational and other escape activities of either traditional or alternative nature. Children usually prefer activities, which enable them to be active and creative. From this perspective I find the aim of this work as completed. When preparing this work I had a chance to compare the children ́s interests in the individual leisure time activities and obtain a better overview of their interests and needs.
