Comparative Analysis of Pension Companies that are Involved in the Additional Pension Savings in the Czech Republic

This bachelor thesis concerned with the current situation on the market of additional pension savings in the Czech Republic that has undergone significant changes as a result of the latest pension reform. The thesis primarily aims to draw a comparison of individual pension companies. The introductory part of the bachelor thesis contains a brief description of the czech pension systém, while the vast majority of the thesis is focused on the third pillar of additional pension savings. All essential basic characteristics concerning legislation, history, number of participants, the claims of participants, state contributions and changes since 2013 are specified and analysed. The core of the thesis is a the comparison of individual pension companies according to the number of participants, results of management, structure of investments, the volume of managed assets, equity, capital adequacy and especially achieved appreciation.The conclusion of thesis, based on the knowledge acquired, provides an assessment of transformed funds.
The impact of sanctions on the development of trade between the Czech republic and the Russian Federation.

The Czech republic and Russia have been having long-term cooperation. However, recent economic and political situation in the world has a direct influence on the further development of the trade relations between the Czech republic and Russia. The economic sanctions imposed by the United States and European Union on Russia are having a crippling effect. The main issue of my work is to prove that the sanctions have had negative impact on trade between Russia and the Czech republic.
About the Pension Reform in Czech Republic

The diploma thesis in the first part deals with an overview of basic pension schemes, their typology and distribution. Further, this section deals with the reasons for the reform of the pension system and demographic developments and general trends in pension protection system. The second part deals with analyse the so-called "small" and "large" pension reform, then analysis of the current pension system in Czech Republic for each column of the pension system in particular. At the end thesis represents a model calculation of the expected cash income at retirement age from three columns of the pension system based on specified parameters adaptable to a wide range of subjects which can be calculated for each pillar in particular. Thesis concludes that participation in second column of pension system is advantageous for those, who have salary above average or for people, who have restricted access to save on retirement.
Analysis of the pension systems of selected countries

The topic of this thesis is the issue of pension systems, which are an integral part of every advanced society. The aim of this thesis is to provide an insight into the basics of the issue, analyze selected pension systems and to assess the possibility of introduction similar pension systems in other countries. In the theoretical part of the thesis first presents basic aspects of the development of approach to finance consumption in old age, possible forms of pension systems, the risks that are associated with them, as well as several models of pension system that are currently enforced. In the analytical part pension systems of Australia, Denmark, Canada, Netherlands, Sweden and Switzerland are first specified separately and subsequently, on the basis of criteria coverage rate, financial sustainability and adequacy of pensions, subjected to comparative analysis. The result of the analysis is the determination of the Dutch pension system as a system that has, although not in all analyzed areas, the relatively best results of functioning. However, the widespread introduction of this system definitely not recommended, due to given economic differences in various countries, which are described in the conclusion of this thesis. Nevertheless of each pension system we can choose a positive approaches to solving problems on which we can build in the future.
