The question of divorce in the Czech Republic and Germany in comparison
Čermáková, Zuzana ; Radvanová, Senta (advisor) ; Hendrychová, Michaela (referee)
In this thesis, I primarily deal with the question of divorce in the Czech Republic in comparison to Germany. The objective is to describe the legal regulation of divorce in general and the legal regulation of the visitation and education of children after the divorce and the historical development of the legal regulations. The thesis shows that the German legal regulation of divorce is often more detailed and elaborated. Finally, it is possible to state that both legal regulations are in the main part very similar and have the same principles.
Diagnostics of toxoplasmosis

CHARLES UNIVERSITY IN PRAGUE Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Biological and Medical Sciences Candidate: Bc. Kateřina Bajajová Supervisor: PharmDr. Barbora Voxová Title of diploma thesis: Diagnostics of toxoplasmosis Worldwide widespread parasite Toxoplasma gondii (T. gondii) is an agent of toxoplasmosis infection. This infection is the most widespread antropozoona and pertain to the most frequent infectious disease, because it affects about one third of population in its latent form. For immunocompetent people infection is not a risk, its progress is asymptomatic and it causes lifelong latent infection. On the other hand for some of patients means toxoplasmosis weighty medical problem. There are mainly people with immunodeficiency after reactivation of latent form of infection, the primary infection in pregnant women, the infection is transmitted from mother to fetus and newborns with the congenital form of toxoplasmosis. The disease can has in these cases very serious consequences and fatal process. The T. gondii infection can be diagnosed by several methods. Methods are divided into direct, aimed at finding a microbe in biological material, and indirect methods, in which serologically show antibodies against infectious agens. The direct methods include histological...
Electron microscopy in the diagnosis of Lyme borreliosis
Štemberková, Radka ; Čermáková, Zuzana (advisor) ; Ryšková, Olga (referee)
The aim of this thesis was to compare the data from the examination of biological material (liquor, blood) by electron microscopy and from serological testing in order describe the course of the Lyme disease. 117 patients participated in the study from Faculty hospital in Hradec Kralove. Transmission electron microscopy results were compared with serological methods. The results of this thesis showed that Lyme disease is characterized by huge variability, heterogeneity of laboratory results. In conclusion, the diagnosis of Lyme disease is very complicated despite the fact that sophisticated methods are used.
Comparison of results of two methods for laboratory diagnosing lyme borreliosis- PCR method and ELISA
Vargová, Radka ; Křivčíková, Lucie (advisor) ; Čermáková, Zuzana (referee)
Bc. Radka Vargová Comparison of results of two methods for laboratory diagnosing lyme borreliosis - PCR methods and ELISA Diploma thesis Charles University in Prague, Facutly of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Specialist in laboratory methods At present time the Lyme disease is relatively wide-spread affection. Its agent is spirochete Borrelia burgdorferi sensu lato and its most eminent vector in Europe is the tick Ixodes ricinus. In the theoretical part of my thesis I decribed the basic characteristics of the genus Borrelia, its antigenic structure, epidemology and pathogenesis, disease vectors, clinical sypmtoms of the infection and possibilities of laboratory diagnostics. My thesis is aimed at comparison of dignostics of Lyme disease by using serological method ELISA and using method PCR. It was used 113 anonymized samples of patients for analyse. The samples were examined for the presence of the antibody against Borrelia in classes IgG and IgM and by using real-time PCR method they were examined for the presence of DNA pathogenic Borrelia. The experimental part of the thesis describes realization of the methods, which we have used for diagnostics of Lyme disease. In the results part is claimed that we noticed only one positive result within detection of Borrelia DNA (total positivity 0,88%). The...
Toxoplasma gondii and options for laboratory diagnostics
Bachurová, Romana ; Voxová, Barbora (advisor) ; Čermáková, Zuzana (referee)
Romana Bachurová Toxoplasma gondii a možnosti laboratorní diagnostiky Bakalářská práce Univerzita Karlova v Praze, Farmaceutická fakulta v Hradci Králové Zdravotnická bioanalytika Abstrakt Toxoplasmosis is a very frequent parasitic infection caused by the protozoan Toxoplasma gondii. Prevalence in the Czech Republic is around 25-35%. The disease is usually benign, but severe complications can occur in case of transmission of infection from mother to child during pregnancy or due to reactivation of latent infections in immunosuppressed persons. The most frequent way of infection appears to be consuming undercooked meat. Diagnosis is based on serological methods, eg.: KFR, ELISA or NFR. Among the methods for direct detection of Toxoplasma gondii ranks PCR or histology. Toxoplasmosis is an infectious disease and therefore the law is subject to the reporting that is collected in a database SZÚ - called. Epi - Dat. Diagnosis by serology may not always be clear and interpretation of results always falls within the competence of doctors. The paper compares the methods by which the Toxoplasmosis is investigated by three Czech and the one foreign workplace. Results of this workplaces are compared. Key words: toxoplasmosis, immunocompromised patients, diagnostics, prevention.

1 Abstract The aim of work: The aim of work was to provide information about the issue of bloodstream infections. Describe methods of hemocultivation techniques that are routinely used in the laboratory of the Clinical microbiology and antibiotics surveillance at Na Homolce Hospital. Give an overview of number of positive blood cultures and representation of each bacterial genus and species isolated from the blood of selected patients in the Department of Intensive care at Na Homolce Hospital in 2014 and 2015. Methods: The number of positive blood culture and the frequency representation of the various bacterial genus and species were monitoring from patients hospitalized in the Department of Vascular intensive care surgery and Intensive care unit of internal department at Na Homolce Hospital during the period from 1. 1. 2014 to 31. 12. 2015. Results: At the Vascular intensive care surgery, 537 blood cultures were collected in the time period considered. 93 blood cultures were positive from this amount, which represents 17%. The most common isolates from blood cultures were coagulase-negative staphylococci (56%), and Staphylococcus aureus (19%), the genus Candida (9%), representatives of the family Enterobacteriaceae (9%), Pseudomonas aeruginosa (3%) and members of the genus Enterococcus (2 %). At the...
