Advanced Alarm Clock for Windows Phone 7
Zapletal, Josef ; Kajan, Rudolf (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes the development of mobile application for Windows Phone 7 focused on sleep and awakening the user. The application is very easy to use and uses built-in modules of advanced mobile phones, such as high resolution camera and the accelerometer. This thesis describes the main features of Windows Phone 7 platform, analysis of competing solutions, application concept and its implementation. Furthermore, this work describes the solution of various problems in the development and also provides examples of methods and tools. Finally, there is also a list of used libraries.
Low Cycle and High Cycle Fatigue Properties of Austempered Ductile Iron
Zapletal, Josef ; Věchet, Stanislav (advisor)
The thesis is focused on assessment of fatigue behaviour of austempered ductile iron with nodular graphite. Optimal period of transformation was determined based on the best combination of stress and strain characteristics established by tensile test. Cyclic response and low-cycle fatigue life were studied under both stress-control and longitudinal strain-control mode at room temperature. For both modes, shapes of cyclic hardening curves are dependent on stress amplitude. Cyclic deformation curves (CDC) were fitted by power regression function. Results were compared with CDC established by multiple step test in both modes with verification of the influence of cyclic creep (high stress levels, stress-control mode). Experimental data of S-N curves are in agreement with the Manson-Coffin and the Basquin law. Fatigue and cyclic parameters were compared. Fatigue life time in high-cycle fatigue region was determined. Experimental data were fitted by suitable regression functions. Regression parameters and fatigue limit were established by means of each regression function. Experimental data in low- and high-cycle fatigue regions were used to construct S-N curve and to determine relevant parameters. Discontinuity of experimental data was not observed. Low-cycle fatigue behaviour was predicted. Approximation of tolerance bands was realized in high-cycle and both high and low cycle fatigue regions.

Optimization of Manufacturing and Assembling Technology of the Valve Bolt
Hrouzková, Andrea ; Zapletal, Josef (referee) ; Doležal, Pavel (advisor)
The thesis aimed to study the impact of manufacturing and assembly technology, the valve bolt fitted to diesel high pressure pump CP3 in the Bosch, which has been found to leak. As experimental material was chosen heat treated bolts M16x1,5 made of material 12 050th. Groups of samples were produced in two ranges hardness. Experimental determination of the optimum range of hardness was assessed on the basis of the results of the process of the screw and set the value of plastic deformation of the sealing surfaces of the parts. Experimental section also deals with the analysis of bearing surfaces on the pump and the components, after the screw process. To some extent, is observed as surface treatment
Optimalization of Heat Treatment and Choice of Material for Woodworking Industrial Knifes
Nevřala, Martin ; Zapletal, Josef (referee) ; Kolář, Zdeněk (advisor)
The aim of this thessis is heat treatment and choice of material for Woodworking optimalization. Industrial Knives in conjunction with company Pilana Tools Knives. Knives of this company are used in different parts of the world, among others in northern states too, where are working in extreme conditions about temperature low below of freezing point. That’s why was tested many samples in another working conditions.
Mechanical and structural characteristics of magnesium alloys reinforced with ceramic fibers
Halmazňa, Jiří ; Moravčík, Igor (referee) ; Zapletal, Josef (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals the study of the mechanical properties of the alloy QE22 reinforced with SiC particles and Saffil fibers. This composite was produced by infiltration particles shape of the preform with molten matrix under high pressure. Test specimens prepared from the composite and the matrix were subjected to a tension strength test and compression test. The test results show pronounced asymmetry behavior in tension and compression of the matrix and composite. Adding the reinforcement into base material leads to significant increase of elastic modul, breaking strength and yield strength while reducing plastic properties. At the end of work was the behavior of the composite compared with the theoretical composite models.
Bauschinger effect and cyclic plasticity in constructional magnesium alloy.
Holas, Jiří ; Gejdoš, Pavel (referee) ; Zapletal, Josef (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis is dealing with low cycle - fatigue behavior of formed magnesium alloy AZ61 and detection of cyclic plasticity with possibility of Bauschinger effect influence. In addition of fatigue properties metallographic evaluation of microstructure and also evaluation of mechanical qualities was made.
Strenght and materials analysis of mountain-climbing carbine from aluminum alloys.
Handrk, Jiří ; Němec, Karel (referee) ; Zapletal, Josef (advisor)
This paper focuses on structural strength characteristics of climibing carabiners, in whole carabiner and in testing samples. Furthermore evaluates the type of surface layer. With gained data about mechanical properties and chemical compostion this paper sorts type of material, from which the carabines were made.
Low cycle fatigue behaviour of cast magnesium alloy AZ61.
Kaňová, Monika ; Gejdoš, Pavel (referee) ; Zapletal, Josef (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis ai dealing with the finding of cyclic plasticity and the low cycle - fatigue behavior of magnesium alloy AZ61. Alloy was cast via squeeze casting method. In addition to fatigue properties was observed microstructure of the alloy and was measured the basic mechanical properties of the alloy.
