The design of hinge on bus technical and luggage compartments
Daněk, Lukáš ; Tůma, Jiří (referee) ; Knoflíček, Radek (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the design of hinge for the doors on bus technical and luggage compartments. The theoretical part is focused on the types of hinges and their capabilities. The practical part deals with the design process, including system analysis using calculations and measurements. A solution universally applicable on different door sizes is proposed, which also meets the requirements for water drainage and door adjustment. The final assembly is optimized by calculations. Benefits and impacts are evaluated.

This thesis deals with the structural design dividing equipment for producing blanks for forging. Its contents are designed technological, structural design, design and check calculations needed for the actual construction of the dividing device. The conclusion of the work dealt with a dangerous place for the operation and maintenance of the machines by analyzing significant hazards. The result is the structural design of machine parts according to the assignment.
Simulation of CNC machine tool spindle in ADAMS software
Pham, Jakub ; Holub, Michal (referee) ; Tůma, Jiří (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the design of a simulation model of a CNC machine tool in MSC ADAMS software. Nowadays, simulations have become an integral part of every development process, as they offer a cost-effective alternative to classical machine development involving prototyping. Within machine tools, dynamic simulation of machine nodes is one of the unexplored areas. The aim of this work is to verify their functionality and reliability in this area. Within the scope of the bachelor thesis, a research on dynamic system simulations, the finite element method and the simulation software MSC Adams and Ansys has been carried out. In the practical part, the spindle loading of the MCV 754 Quick machine tool was designed. Subsequently, the model geometry and boundary conditions were determined and the spindle was simulated during the cutting process in MSC ADAMS. The simulation results were verified by both analytical calculation and experimental measurements on the machine. Furthermore, the concept of further development of the model within the framework of cosimulation was presented. Finally, all output parameters were compared and evaluated.
Design of assembly device for automotive industry
Poláček, Tomáš ; Tůma, Zdeněk (referee) ; Tůma, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this master thesis is the construction of a single-purpose semi-automatic machine to assembly a component of a car. The component of assemble is a device to refueling, which consists of more thermoplastic parts. It is used a knowledge of 3D modeling software, solution of construction assemblies and necessary calculations to design the machine. The result of this thesis is detailed 3D model and drawing documentation of designed assembly machine.
Design of cartridge spindle for turning machines
Žádník, Lubomír ; Tůma, Jiří (referee) ; Pavlík, Jan (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the design of a built-in headstock of a turning center. The aim of the work is the design of a spindle for machines up to 10 kW. The spindle is driven by a two-speed gearbox and a belt drive. In the introduction, the work deals with the description of individual parts of the turning headstock. A design proposal is performed, accompanied by a number of technical calculations. The result of the work is a 3D model, drawing documentation and calculation report.
Lathe machines
Vidlák, Marek ; Tůma, Jiří (referee) ; Blecha, Petr (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis deals with distribution of turning machines and describes the basic parts. It is divided into free parts. The first part deals with the history and definition of treatment. It is focused on building a lathe and description of basic parts, especially the description of the spindle which I chose for computational design which I chose for computational design. In the second part I will the distribution of the modern lathe machines and I give a several examples of current production machines. In the last part I will propose construction of spindle to fit the specified parameters.
Design of tool turret for CNC lathe
Velič, Samuel ; Pavlík, Jan (referee) ; Tůma, Jiří (advisor)
Bachelor thesis describes the design of tool turret for CNC lathe and is divided into the search, computation and construction part. The purpose of the search is to introduce the reader to the issue of automatic tool exchange. It also describes the actions that the turret has to handle and the mechanisms by which these actions are performed. The calculation part deals with the diameter of the shaft of system, specified minimum torque characteristics of the drive and the design bearings of the system. The construction part is based on the computations. Using the data obtained from the computational part is according to the norm DIN 8869 designed the 3D model of the turret, type disc, which is completed with drawing documentation of selected parts.
Methods of Technical Prognostics Applicable to Embedded Systems
