Language and Style of Jáchym Topol in the Novel Noční práce
NOVOTNÁ, Petra
The aim of this bachelor thesis is linguistic analysis of the novel titled Noční práce written by Jáchym Topol. The theoretical part of the thesis treats about the style of artistic literature and it includes the information dealt with the author and his works. There are also presented the reviews connected with this novel. The practical part works with the detailed analysis of the language levels: phonetic and phonological, morphological, syntactic and lexical, not only from the post of the characters but also from the post of the narrator.
The issue of fixed assets from the perspective of Czech accounting legislation and International Financial Reporting Standards
NOVOTNÁ, Petra
This master thesis compares the main differences between CAS and IFRS in the field of long-lived assets. The aim of the thesis is to analyze differences between CAS and IFRS in the field of long-lived assets and apply these differences to the example of the concrete entity. The thesis is divided into two major parts, the first part is a theoretical part and the second part is a practical part . The theoretical part focuses on long-lived tangible and intangible assets according to CAS and IFRS. At the end of the theoretical part there is a comparison and the main differencies between both accounting systems. The practical part describes specific accounting examples, comparing the impacts of individual accounting operations of long-lived assets of CAS and IFRS. These operations concern chosen items of long-lived assets, income statement and balance sheet. It describes the impacts of these accounting operations on the income statement and the balance sheet.
QRS complex detection in long electrograms
Novotná, Petra ; Hejč, Jakub (referee) ; Kozumplík, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the detection of the QRS complexes in long electrograms which were acquired by scanning isolated rabbit hearts. The first section of this thesis contains information about general detection principles. Some of those principles are de- scribed into details in the fourth chapter. The practical part consists of: the introduction of processed data, the description of specific algorithms used while solving the task and the realisation of those algorithms in the language of technical computing (MATLAB).
Apartment Building
Novotná, Petra ; Komínková, Kateřina (referee) ; Čupr, Karel (advisor)
This diploma thesis solver the newly apartment building in Kuřim. It is a building with tree floors and basemet. The claccing of Porotherm 300mm and is insulated by contact insulation. The roofs are flat. The windows are plastic. In the basement asre garages, cellars, technical room and bicycle room. The other floors are flats.
Assessment of chosen aromatic compounds in cosmetics
Novotná, Petra ; Souralová Popelková, Miriam (referee) ; Vítová, Eva (advisor)
This master thesis deals with the assessment of selected fragrant substances in cosmetic products. At the beginning the occurrence, methods of acquiring and application of these substances is described. They are essential components primarily in cosmetic products, however they can cause an allergic reaction in sensitive individuals. The theoretical part of this thesis also describes the cause and the progress of these undesirable effects. There are several hundreds, up to thousands fragrant substances used in the perfume industry, from which 26 was designated by the European regulations as potential allergenic fragrant substances and their content is regulated. Legislative standards as well as the overview of the methods used to determine these fragrances are given here. The experimental part is focused on the development and validation of the separation methods for determining of the selected and potentially allergenic fragrant substances. The method used was a solid phase microextraction using Carboxen/Polydimethylsiloxane fiber combined with a gas chromatography coupled to a flame ionization detector (SPME-GC-FID). Amylcinnamyl alcohol, benzyl alcohol, cinnamyl alcohol, coumarin, lyral, ?-isomethyl ionone were among the determined allergenic substance. Consequently, this method was also applied on 10 selected cosmetic products specimens, in which the linalool and geraniol were identified as the most common allergenic substances.
Less conventional botanical sources of cosmetic raw materials
Novotná, Petra ; Vespalcová, Milena (referee) ; Zemanová, Jana (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is an investigation of use of less traditional plant sources in cosmetic industry. This review is focused on black elder (Sambucus nigra), sea buckthorn (Hippophae rhamnoides), quince (Cydonia oblonga), dog rose (Rosa canina), and stinging nettle (Urtica dioica). The substances Isolated from these plants can be used in various cosmetic products. The first section of this search deals with history and botanical characterization of these plants. The next section deals with significant substances contained in these plants and their use not only in cosmetic industry.
TTT method for the comparison of randomized heuristics
Novotná, Petra ; Pelikán, Jan (advisor) ; Fábry, Jan (referee)
There are many heuristics proposed for practical uses of the postman problem, which reach only approximate solutions, however in real time. Regarding the number of solutions of the postman problem, the efficiency of the heuristic is important to the solver, and that is the reason why the goal of this thesis is to compare the efficiency of different algorithms. In the first part of the thesis, the theory for understanding the comparison is described, which is further used for comparing the efficiency of five modifications of randomized heuristics solving delivery problems using the postman problem with capacities. Variants of solutions are launched on several differently complicated problems with optional edges and with multiple vehicles departing from a single depot. The results are shown in plots. A probability of the ability of one modification to reach the given target value in shorter time than the second modification is computed for more precise evaluation. The assumption is different efficiency when solving a problem of small and large scale.
Best practices in companies’ purchasing process
Novotná, Petra ; Vinš, Marek (advisor) ; Brathová, Jana (referee)
The diploma thesis analyzes contemporary trends and provides overview of key elements within purchasing processes in companies recommended by foreign professional studies. Autor of the thesis analyzes purchasing process in 4 manufacturing companies - GE Aviation Czech, s.r.o., Faurecia Exhaust Systems, s.r.o., Continental Automotive Czech Republic, s.r.o., Brandýs nad Labem a Doosan Bobcat Manufacturing, s.r.o. Given the recommendations by foreign studies the thesis provides suggestions on their application in manufacturing companies taking into account the specific conditions in the four companies.
Strategic analysis
Novotná, Petra ; Krause, Josef (advisor) ; Šlégr, Pavel (referee)
The topic of this thesis is a strategic analysis of the company Autocentrum Novotný, that provides authorised sale and service of cars Renault, Dacia and Mitsubishi. The thesis is divided into theoretical part, in which the basic terms and methods of analysis are characterized, and practical part in which the theoretical knowledge is used in practice. The macro and micro environment, the internal resources and capabilities of the company are analyzed. Final summary is done by the SWOT analysis, through which the strategic recommendations were designed.
Využití NIR spektroskopie při kontrole falšování kozí syrovátky
Novotná, Petra
The diploma thesis dealt with the theme "The use of NIR spectroscopy in the control of goat whey adulteration". The aim of this thesis was to verify the potential of NIR spectroscopy to check of devaluation goat whey with cow whey. In the theoretical part was briefly described the problems of food adulteration, some of the methods used in the control of food with focusing on the near-infrared spectroscopy technique and its application in the dairy industry. Further was described whey and its composition focusing on goat whey, whey processing and the possibilities of using whey in food industry. In the practical part were measured goat and cow whey and their binary mixtures at various concentrations. For the qualitative evaluated of NIR spectra was used discriminant analysis. The results showed that near-infrared spectroscopy that near-infrared spectroscopy is suitable for the authentication of goat whey.
