Management of wild mallard (Anas platyrhynchos) in the hunting ground Uhlířská Lhota (Central Bohemia, Czech Republic)
Malíková, Lenka ; Červený, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Nováková, Petra (referee)
The mallard (Anas platyrhynchos) is our the most widespread duck which occurs almost every water area. Her hunting is an essential part of hunting management in Czech Republic, but also in the world. As the numbers of mallards falling down, it is necessary to hunting management mainly focus on the care of the population of mallards. The aim of this study is to evaluate and describe the care of mallard in hunting Uhlířská Lhota. Because even in this hunting, members of a hunting association care of mallards is trying to increase their population. Hunting management is describing in this study in hunting Uhlířská Lhota for the years 2014 and 2015 when was found that mallard population status would most likely increase with increasing nesting opportunities and regular feeding, but predation and food competition is very high in that small water tank. Since the results of the catch for 2014 shows that there has been an increase in the number of mallards, but in 2015 to drop again.
Influence of magnetic weather on dogs
Junas, Tomáš ; Nováková, Petra (advisor) ; Mrkvičková Kořanová, Diana (referee)
The bachelor thesis deals with the theme of magnetism, if you like magnetic influence of weather on dogs. The first part is devoted to a literature review on the issue of magnetism and researched breeds. The practical part contains the research on the influence of magnetic field on the orientation of the dog in the water intake. Three dogs were studied using a photo-trap. In all three dogs was statistically found preference of the south-west direction, which does not correspond to previous research. The cause of the deviations could be e.g. high-voltage lines, the fluctuation of the earth's magnetic field, or a local anomaly of the magnetic field. Economic analysis of breeding the dog, it was found that the breeding of these breeds cannot be considered as gainful activity.

Population development of ungulates in Horažďovice region (SW BBohemiaa) by GIS method
Ferdová, Jiřina ; Červený, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Nováková, Petra (referee)
The goal of this work is to evaluate the development of population dynamics of cloven-hoofed game in the years 2005 - 2014 and various hunting grounds in the interest area. There are the largest population of roe deer and wild boar at the Horažďovice region. There are also other specific game species - mouflon, sika and fallow deer. The landscape at the Horažďovice region is cultural, widely used for agriculture and it is not varied for cloven-hoofed game. The gamekeeper's statistics are the most important source of data for evaluating the development of population dynamics of this game. There were analyzed the data for the spring fundamental groups, hunting and death in specific game species. The results are processed by using clear tables, graphs and primarily maps created by GIS method.
Magnetic orientation of spider webs of the Amaurobiidae spiders
Volf, Martin ; Nováková, Petra (advisor) ; Mrkvičková Kořanová, Diana (referee)
Abstract First of all in theoretical part of my bachelor thesis I deal with general characteristics of spiders and more specifically Amaurobiidae spiders. My first section summarizes information about magnetoreception as an ability to sense the Earth´s magnetic field. Next I describe basic information about three theories that represent models of functioning magnetoreception. Electromagnetic induction theory is based on the principle of an electric circuit through which flows electricity. Chemical magnetoreception theory or free radical theory is based on complex biochemical reactions which are produced by magnetic field and includes pairs of free radicals as intermediates. And the last but not least magnetite theory that presume presence of magnetite in various tissue which acts as a magnet, and at the moment of trying to compare with magnetic field applying pressure to the secondary receptors or directly affects the activity of nerve cells. Further I describe various forms of magnetic orientation for example magnetic compass, magnetic alignment and magnetic map. The end of the theoretical part is about the general knowledge of magnetoreception and magnetic orientation in Amaurobiidae spiders. The practical part is about my own research. I examined magnetic orientation of particular spider webs at 3 locations. I tried to find varied locations in different forest stands and slopes. My data collection was more difficult because of meteorological conditions. Long sweltering summer completely dried forests and all animals activity was inhibited. Then it came dramatic cooling and large amounts of rainfalls. In 2015 wasn´t basically a kind of transition phase between summer and autumn. Finally I gathered all data that I needed, and from the statistical processing clearly concluded that the resulting vectors were most commonly ranged from 100° to 180°. More than 60% spider webs were oriented southeast to south. Of course I founded exceptions and curious cases.
Possibilities prevention of orthopedic disorders legs at preschool children
NOVÁKOVÁ, Petra
This bachelor thesis is focused on an orthopedic foot defects by preschoolers and their prevention. The foot is an important executive organ, which fulfill many functions. The main functions of the foot are standing and moving. Equally important function of the foot is the ability to feel the information about the terrain on which one we are moving. Through receptors located in the foot flows this information constantly into the central nervous system, where are they evaluate together with information from the whole body. On the ground of this information is happening a large number of subsequent complex processes - e.g. correction of the center of gravity, control of the position and of the body movement. Nowadays many children wear inappropriate footwear and they don´t have enough proprioceptive stimuli. As a consequence of this, the foot stops being functional and it can lead to the inception of various orthopedic disorders. Incorrect foot positioning will be reflected in the position of the entire body, since as the foot works across the whole attention to the prevention right in this period of life, as long as the pathological stereotypes are not fixed jet. In the theoretical part have I describes the basic information, that leads to the understanding of the issue. Here is described the anatomy of the foot, her development and function. Further the work is aimed at acquired orthopedic foot defects, at the possibility of prevention and at the foot examination. The last chapter is focused on the development of preschooler. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to inform what kind of orthopedic defects children can have. This bachelor thesis also maps out which are the most common defects and suggest preventive arrangements that protect the children against the development of the orthopedic foot defects. In the practical part was the qualitative research executed. In the research were the foot imprints of the preschoolers taken and then were three case studies before and after the therapy evaluated. To collected the data I used an interview to obtain medical history, method of observation and input and output kinesiology analysis. The therapy lasted for ten weeks and was prepared on the basis of sensomotoric stimulation with the elements of the game so that the children manage to keep attention. The results of this bachelor work shows that at all three probands during the exercises the condition of the foots had improved and also the stability of the whole body had improved. This bachelor work could be beneficial to current and future physiotherapists who are interested in this problematic. Furthermore, this work can function as a base for further and more detailed processing of this topic. It could be also applied in the development of education - kinetic methods in kindergartens. Even the parents, that want to prevent the origin of orthopedic disorders at their kids foots, could use this work as an inspiration.

The urban development of inner city – The Square with free-standing view point
