Load-carrying steel structure of railway bridge
Ganglbauer, Tereza ; Melcher, Jindřich (referee) ; Karmazínová, Marcela (advisor)
The master thesis focuses on the design of a Load-carrying steel structure of railway bridge with bottom steel deck of the span of 28 + 45 + 23 m. The bridge is situated in the municipality of Třebestovice. Four variants of solution have been calculated. Two variants are made by plate main beams of variable profile, the next alternative was made by truss structure and the fourth variant consist of a combination of plate main beams with truss stiffener in the middle span. The most optimal solution was processed in detail. The calculations were done in compliance with valid ČSN EN norms.
Load carrying steel structure of the exhibition hall building
Bui, Trung Thanh ; Karmazínová, Marcela (referee) ; Melcher, Jindřich (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with design of the supporting steel structure of the building of the exhibition pavilion with 84 m length and 30 m width. Roofing structure is designed and examined in two versions. Variant A is designed like tubular truss girder with axis distance 6 m. Variant B is also designed like tubular truss girder, but with different look, with same axis distance. These versions are compared by weight, manufacturing complexity and appearance, preferable version is processed in detail. Drawing documentation includes an anchor plan, layout structure and truss production drawing.
Optimization study of the weight of lattice roof truss - a variant for structural solution with steel profiles of CHS type.
Prokešová, Pavlína ; Karmazínová, Marcela (referee) ; Melcher, Jindřich (advisor)
The main target is finding the optimal height of a truss girder corresponding with its minimal weight. The height of the truss girder is a variable parameter of the optimization. The truss girder is constructed of CHS profiles. The span is 24 000 mm, the roof plane tilt is 5 percentand the truss girder distance is 6 000 mm. The structural material is tje S 355 steel. 6 variantshave been processed one of which indetail. The output of thebachelor thesis is a curve of the optimal height of the truss girder.
Family house load-carrying structure composed of thin-walled cold-formed steel profiles
Jančar, Ondřej ; Melcher, Jindřich (referee) ; Karmazínová, Marcela (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is make a structural design of prefabricated family house. The load-carrying structure is composed of thin-walled cold-formed steel profiles. The family house is single-storey without basement. The object has rectangular ground plan with proportions of 9 x 14 m. The gable roof has slope 27°. Roof truss girders allows to make a attic space for storage seasonal things. The house is situated in city development of Bílovec. The object was designed according to currently valid standarts to the ultimate limit states and seviceability limit states.
Tennis hall load-carrying steel structure
Pham, Hoang Anh ; Melcher, Jindřich (referee) ; Karmazínová, Marcela (advisor)
The content od the bachelor these is a proposal and evaluation of steel load - bearing structure od a tennis hall whit a floor space of 40x30,133 m. The builing is situated outside the urban area ner the Lipno nad Vltavou municipality. The hall consistis of 9 cross links spaced by 5,0 m. The main load – bearing systém consists od arched trusess, purlins, sway bracings longitudinal bracings, that support the spatial rigidity of the construction. The calculations were made in compliance whit the Czech norms ČSN EN.
Railway bridge with steel load-carrying structure
Šarmanová, Iveta ; Melcher, Jindřich (referee) ; Karmazínová, Marcela (advisor)
The subject of master’s thesis is a structural analysis of a bearing structure of an existing historical single-track railway bridge over the Vltava river in a direction from Prague Modřany to Vrané nad Vltavou. The riveted steel bridge carries rail traffic across five fields. A part of the master’s thesis is focused on a disposal of a variant of the longest field by using a modern arch construction.
Load bearing steel structure of the sport stadium roofing
Kerouš, Jakub ; Karmazínová, Marcela (referee) ; Melcher, Jindřich (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with design load bearing steel structure of the sport stadium roofing with 82,8 m length and 29,0 m width. Roofing structure is designed and examined in two versions. Variant A is designed like tubular truss girder with axis distance 4,6 m. Variant B is designed like welded solid-web girder with same axis distance. These versions are compared by weight, manufacturing complexity and appearance, prefeable version is processed in detail. Drawings contain layout of both versions and manufacturing drawings of truss.
Static verification and variant design of roof structure of winter sport stadium in Jihlava city
Růžička, Tomáš ; Melcher, Jindřich (referee) ; Karmazínová, Marcela (advisor)
Object of this master thesis is the static verification and variant desing of roof structure of winter sport stadium in Jihlava city. The ground plan dimensions are 60 x 84 m The current structure is composite of truss main girders with parabolic lower chords, and purlins. Axial distances of main girders are 12m. Concrete columns are a support to main girders. The variant desing of roof uses truss girders and truss purlins. They are supported on existing concrete columns. All load bearing members of existing and new design structure have been evaluated according to actual normative rules. The static assessment of the existing structure is not satisfied from viewpoint of ultimate and serviceability limit states (in some elements). The static assessment of the new structure is satisfied from the viewpoint of both limit states.
The load bearing steel building structure of the car showroom
Hubáček, Ondřej ; Karmazínová, Marcela (referee) ; Melcher, Jindřich (advisor)
This work contains a proposal supporting steel structure of the single- industrial buildings intended for parking motor show / exhibition cars in Brno. Building plan dimensions are 20 x 36 m. The main structure is defined by a planar cross-linked. Transverse bond is formed trusses, connected by purlins. Trusses are on both sides of the structure hinged to the fixed columns. The main beam is made up of trusses with an installation height of 1,5 m at midspan. Distance crosslinks is 6 m. Spatial rigidity is ensured by a system of longitudinal transverse stiffeners. Steel truss rods are made of rolled profiles are pillars of HEB profiles and purlins are designed from rolled profiles I. The design is carried out according to standards EN. Used material bearing elements is steel S 235 (regular steel).
Steel- load-carrying structure of production hall
Kábrt, Michal ; Melcher, Jindřich (referee) ; Karmazínová, Marcela (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis was to make a structural design of steel-load-carrying structure of two-bay production hall with rectangular plan with total width 36m, i.e. with the same width both of the bay 2x18m, and total length ca. 72m. Eaves level of the building is 7,5m. There is one trolley crane with load capacity 5t and span 17,1m in the hall. The building will be roofed by saddle roof with slope 5% (2.86°) and ridge in the middle of the width. Modular distance of main frames is 6m. The production hall is situated on the outskirts of industrial part of town Červený Kostelec. RFEM was used for calculation internal forces on individual structural elements. Designing of elements and joints was made according to valid eurocodes.
