The effect of changes of rain erosivity factor on the proposal of soil and water conservation measures in the selected watershed
Vlčanová, Veronika ; PhD, Ing František Pavlík, (referee) ; Dumbrovský, Miroslav (advisor)
The subject of the diploma thesis was the evaluation of erosion and drainage conditions in the cadastral area of Čejkovice in the Morava basin and the subsequent proposal of protective measures. The erosion analysis and the subsequent design of the protective measures were carried out in four variants depending on the increasing R factor. In conclusion, the scope of individual protective measures for each variant was evaluated.
Evaluation of the impact of the proposed variants erosion and flood control measures on the retention capacity of river basins
Pospíchalová, Lucie ; Uhrová,, Jana (referee) ; Dumbrovský, Miroslav (advisor)
The aim of the thesis was to evaluate of the impact of the proposed variants erosion and flood control measures on the retention capacity of landscape. The measure was evaluated in five variants. The retention capacity od the landspace was assessed of firect runoff. The volume of direct runoff was calculated using the CN method in two variants according to IPS and IPS II. The flood effect was evaluated using the DesQ-MaxQ program.
Identification of critical profiles and proposal protection measures in the cadastral areas Blučina and Židlochovice
Pírek, Jiří ; Sobotková, Veronika (referee) ; Dumbrovský, Miroslav (advisor)
The thesis deals with problems of drainage and erosion conditions in the Židlochovice and Blučina cadastres. After evaluating these criteria, the thesis goes over to the design of line and surface anti-erosion measures, which effectiveness subsequently evaluates.
Identification of critical points and the evaluation of their contributing areas in the Čižina watershed.
Hanuliak, Radek ; Pavlík, František (referee) ; Dumbrovský, Miroslav (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis was to evaluate the critical profiles in the village of Lichnov near Bruntál. There was perfomed an identification of critical profiles, which are decisive for the flood threats of the built-up area. An analysis of the complex of physical-geographic factors influencing direct drain, soil loss and sediment transport was realised in collection areas. Evaluation was carried out using DMT, with the use of tools of ArcMap and DesQ.
Protecting of built up areas threatened by torrential rains
Horáková, Věra ; Uhrová,, Jana (referee) ; Dumbrovský, Miroslav (advisor)
This thesis investigates the design of complex systems measures against water erosion in cadastral areas Bílov, Butovice and Velké Albrechtice. Based on the exploration and analysis of the territory, it was suggested a possible solution by erosion and hydrological GIS tools. To identify areas at risk of erosion and runoff conditions were used a digital elevation model, Wischmeier-Smith equation and model DesQ. After that the effectiveness was evaluated by comparing the results before and after measures.
Proposal for adaptation measures to eliminate the climate drought
Šmaus, Petr ; Sobotková, Veronika (referee) ; Dumbrovský, Miroslav (advisor)
The aim of the thesis was to propose adaptation measures in the locality to eliminate climate drought. Additionally, the work on the proposed adaptation measures has been assessed in terms of their effectiveness and evaluation of their design. The part and contribution of the work is also to inform about problems related to climatic drought, finding their causes and subsequent.
Sustainable production capabilities of territory, depending on climatic drought.
Skůpová, Jana ; Uhrová,, Jana (referee) ; Dumbrovský, Miroslav (advisor)
In this work, I dealt with the repercussion of drought on agriculture and land in the cadastral Jinošov. For this area, I analyzed the erosion and ratio of outflow. I also conducted a proposal of adaptation measures against erosion and water retention in the area. In conclusion, I analyzed withholding data and assessed the retention before and after the proposal of adaptation measures. The result of my work is finding that rainfall is inadequate and largely come out of the growing season, that despite all the measures fail to create on the necessary retention for the correct functioning of the landscape. Therefore it is necessary to solve water supply from other areas where is sufficient supply of water.
Protection of the built-up area of the village Dobrouc against the adverse effects of concentrated runoff
Kulihová, Martina ; Sobotková, Veronika (referee) ; Dumbrovský, Miroslav (advisor)
The aim of the thesis was to evaluate the erosion and drainage conditions in the cadastral Lužkovice under the Complex land consolidation and then the design of protective measures. The impact of climate change was considered and for that reason evaluation and design was made in two versions. The climate change is one of the most important issues of our time.
Using the Erosion Potential Method in the Czech Republic
Hloušek, Jakub ; Larišová, Lucie (referee) ; Dumbrovský, Miroslav (advisor)
The aim of this thesis was the evaluation of the loss of soil for the area of interest, located in the north-western part of the Němčického basin, in the district of Blansko. The calculation was made using two methods, namely erosion potential method (EPM), commonly used in Serbia and the Wischmeier-Smith universal soil loss equation (USLE), used in Czech Republic. Finally, both of these methods were compared with each other. Both methods use a different method of calculation. USLE method utilizes the universal equation for calculating the long-term average soil loss per year (G), the EPM method utilizes equation for specific average annual soil loss (Wsp, Wy). The calculation was performed with both methods in program ArcGIS while the USLE method was also supplemented with calculation of the factor (LS) with USLE2D program. When comparing the soil loss each of evaluated areas, the EPM achieved higher values of soil loss in the most of them. In contrast to the USLE method, the EPM the total loss of the soil from the evaluated areas also accounted the soil loss from forest areas. In terms of accuracy of the achieved real world results, it was determined that the conditions in the Czech Republic are more suitable for the USLE method and not only due to more accurate data input, but also because with EPM there is no factor that would better reflect the topographic factor and conditions of surface runoff in the territory.
Identification of catchment areas important in terms of production of transport sediment
Ječménková, Gabriela ; Moravcová, Aneta (referee) ; Dumbrovský, Miroslav (advisor)
The aim of this thesis was to determine the amount of sediment transport from selected catchment areas and the degrese of erosion risks in the cadastre Boleradice based on analysis with special programs ArcGIS, DesQ-MaxQ together using the universal soil loss equation and its modified version.
