Pastoral Situation in Selected Parishes Entrusted to the Orders

Theresultsofthepractical part are demonstrated as respones to threepredeterminedquestions: Isthereanythingspecific in thepastorationwithinthecentral Prague? Howisthemissionattributeofeachordermanifested in selectedparishes? Doestheorderfulfillitspastoraldutiesimposed by theirchapters? Eachofthefiveparishesofthefirstpraguevicariatischaracterised by a briefdescriptionofitshistory and quitedetaileddescriptionofcurrentpastoralactivities. Withthe use ofthefourChurch's basic tasks, these activities are listed and summarized in a graph. Theconclusionsummarizestheresearch and answers to thequestions and suggeststhepossibilityoffurtherstudiesfocused on thedevelopmentoftheselectedparishes. The influence of using military boots on the power of front kick

Title The influence of using military boots on the power of front kick Objectives The aim of this work is to identify and compare front kick while using military boots to front kick with no usage of those boots. Methods This bachelor work can be described as empirical and observational. A multicomponent force plate was used to detect the power of the front kick. The powers of the kick with the boots and without the boots were compared with the aid of a statistic method called paired t-test. Results In four cases the power of the front kick decreased by the influence of the boots, in one of these four cases was the declension statistically significant. In two cases was the power of the front kick increased due to usage of the boots, while in one of these cases was this increase statistically significant. The result of the interpersonal comparation was statistically insignificant. It was ascertained, that a previous experience with combat activities, which use kicking techniques, and also experience with usage of boots while kicking do affect the power of the front kick. However the results acquired by the measurement and statistical data processing cannot be generalized. Keywords close combat, front kick, military boots
The problems of the way to the priesthood

This thesis concerning the way to priesthood, the diocesan priests especially, and explores mainly the moment when young men make their decision for the priesthood. This thesis wants to know the role of the Archdiocese of Prague, the priests, the Christian parents and how they can motivate and support them on their life journey towards their profession. The first chapter describes the journey towards the priesthood according to the Church documents. The second chapter is interested in the specific forms of the pastoral work within the Archdiocese of Prague. The Archdiocesan Seminary is mentioned in the third chapter. The last the fourth chapter is concerning the current status of the clergy and priestly ordination within the Archdiocese of Prague. The second, the third and the fourth chapters represent the author's contribution in the form of assessment of the questionnaires. These questionnaires were distributed and used relating the priest calling pastoral work.
The Liturgical Life and the following Carmelite Sisters Practice after 1989

The Liturgical Life and Related Carmelite Sisters' Practice after 1989 This thesis analyzes liturgical praxis and related habitual practice of two existing communities of Carmelite Nuns in Czech Republic. The purpose of this study is to. It is divided in five chapters. First two chapters concern the history of Carmelite Order and the attitude of Carmelites towards liturgy. In the third chapter the author summarizes the life of Carmelites nuns in the years 1950 − 1989 (during the communist era) and its impact on the communities nowadays. The fourth chapter offers a brief overview on various liturgical traditions which might have influenced the development of Carmelite liturgy. In the light of the those preliminary survey, the last chapter analyzes the typical daily liturgical schedule of a Carmelite nun and attempts to discern the origin of its components.

Mgr. et Mgr. Adam SÝKORA: Missale Posoniense I. - diplomatic edition (rigorous thesis), Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Catholic Theology, 2011. In the present thesis the author provides a diplomatic edition of one of the oldest collegial missals of Bratislava Chapter House: Missale Posoniense I. It is a central source of European significance, which is pattern normative and representative in relation to the similar landmarks (eg Missale Posoniense A, B, C, II., III., IV.), and which was used in the Bratislava Chapter House before 1341st. The text of this Missal was previously published only in facsimile form, which bears the technical limitations of the period of its creation. Since that time, other foils have been discovered that have not been published at all. Professional public now has the text, with which can work effectively, moreover, it paves the way for a critical edition of the full text of the preserved parts, which the author intends to publish as dissertation. Annotation The aim of this Bachelor thesis called "Initial and Permanent Formation of Permanent Deacons in Brno Diocese" is to describe and then evaluate the formation of permanent deacons, applicants and deacons already ordained in Brno Diocese in the time period of 2000 to 2010. The thesis consists of two parts. The first part describes the restitution of permanent deaconship after the II. Vatican Council, the general service of the permanent deaconship in the tradition of the Church and Church documents, which relate to this topic on a general level. The second part deals with the formation of permanent deacons including the initial formation for applicants for permanent deaconship and formation of permanent deacons after their ordination as it is implemented in Brno Diocese. he diploma thesis "Christian Church Funeral Ceremonies" deals with Roman Catholic Church funeral ceremonies, both preceding and following the Second Vatican Council reforms, Greek Catholic Church funeral ceremonies and those of Eastern Orthodox Church, Czechoslovak Hussite Church and Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren. It describes various ceremonies and their historical development. By means of comparing the structures of these ceremonies it attempts to find what they have in common as well as what makes them distinctively different in terms of liturgy and theological teaching. It examines the theme of death, after-life conceptions, and funeral ceremonies in life of ancient people and European pagans, Jewish tradition and culture of Middle ages. It also covers the area of the last things of a man and resurrection matter as far as it is mentioned in liturgical books. Finally it questions the suitability of available liturgical texts concerning special cases and new forms of funeral ceremonies. Jiří Reinsberg and Liturgy Reform at the Parish of Our Lady before Týn

This thesis deals with history of the liturgy reform and implementation of renewed liturgy in Czechoslovakia on the model of concrete parish community by the church of Our Lady before Tyn. It focuses on the form of liturgy during time when Jiří Reisberg served here as a parish. Based on historical reference and interviews with parishioners who experienced liturgy there at those times the thesis searches for answers to questions how the holy mass was celebrated there, how parishioners were taught about new practices and changes in liturgy and how this parish contributed to the liturgical life in Czechoslovakia. The thesis also catalogues information about Jiří Reinsberg's personality, his liturgical and theological notion and presents survey of his publication activities.
