The thesis entitled Sacred space in the era of Gothic thinking, art and architecture deals with a certain specification of the sacred space, the function and meaning of the medieval church, events leading to the beginnings of Gothic art which left its imprint on the general medieval art and whose influence radiates from the 12th century and ends in the 15th century An essential part of the text is dedicated to using the given rules in the sacred space of the castle Karlstein.
Overview of the history of the Inqisition with special consideration of the witch trials in northern Moravia

The Inquisition functioned as an institution of the Church which searched for and punished ideas which didn't correspond with the generally accepted rules, mostly raised by the Catholic Church. The Inquisition's target was very often a numerous group of heretics who shared the same fundamental faith of the main stream of the Church but they disagreed in the essential questions. The range of enemies spread out with the raising power of the Church. Next to the heretics, the Church also fought against the uncomfortable opponents, very often of a secular origin. In the course of history the Inquisition functioned in several forms however it could not keep up with the progress in thought in society. That caused its downfall. The Inquisition exists up until now in a reorganized form however its role is strictly formal. Besides the heretics the Church inveighed against the practitioners and followers of witchcraft and magic. At the beginning the Church did not pay as much attention to this phenomenon as to the heretics nevertheless its point of view had changed radically during the Middle Ages. Medieval Christian Charity as a Model for "Stargazers" of Saint Agnes

The Medieval Christian charity has built the foundations for today's social services. Even then the specialized facilities for the sick, the poor and pilgrims have been created. There they obtained the necessary attention and care. Agnes of Bohemia is the important representative of the Czech medieval charity. Her social work had began in Prague and spread the Czech lands. The Knights of the Cross with the Red Star are the proof. Agnes founded the original hospice brotherhood from which the order was created. The order activities consisted in hospice care and spiritual administration. In the 16th and 17th century, Grand Master was the Archbishop of Prague at the same time. In Bohemia, Moravia and Silesia the order had managed hospitals and rectories. In the course of history the order has not parished and it continues to the present. Bachelor thesis "Dance and Christian Medieval" deals with medieval imagination of dance predominantly in the parts of central and western Europe. The main task of the essay is to describe the mentality of medieval human and spending his free time, especially dancing. This all is based on the study of historical traditions, literature and visual arts. We can see the transformations of dance at different epochs of the middle ages, from early middle ages and beginning of Christianity until the time when Europe experienced a plague coupled with the dance of death.
Outline of the history of pietism and its reflection in spirituality of Czechoslovak Hussite Church

It descripes contemporary background of pietism, the sources from which he drew and its various forms. Observes how pietism resolved the crisis of the Church and society. It describes the basic emphases of pietism, supporting notes and warning elements. The second part deals with the time and cause of constitution of the Czechoslovak Hussite Church, practical expressions of piety of its members and its inclination to the biblical theology of personalism. The emphasis on a personal relationship with God and to another human being nurtured by studying the Scriptures in the community and a new emphasis on active and responsible reborn man who is active in the world, is the central theme of pietism and the new generation of the Czechoslovak Hussite Church.

My BA thesis "The tiding of Jan Hus today?" deals with the life and work of Jan Hus and also is concerned with selecting of contemporary works on the subject. The aim of dissertation is try to remind with the presentation of the facts from the past and today of Jan Hus' legacy to present epoch. The part of work in the Addendum also is the opinion poll reflecting the points of view questioned people.

My diploma thesis "Catholic Charity in the Czech Republic after 1989" succinctly reflects the origin and evolution of charity care within the Catholic Church. It discusses the establishment and activities of a number of religious orders and the organization Česká katolická charita. It also presents important documents of Vatican Council II., especially Gaudium et spes, and some other social encyclicals. The core part focuses on how charitable activities of the Catholic Church in the Czech Republic have developed after 1989. It subsequently describes the development and activities of the organization Caritas Czech republic and selected orders and congregations working in the area of charity in the Czech Republic.
