Application Development Using Irrlicht Engine
Balcárek, Daniel ; Krček, Petr (referee) ; Roupec, Jan (advisor)
The main goal of this work is to present graphical development enviroment Irrlicht Engine and is develop a sample application focused on promotion of the Instutute of Automation and Computer Science and Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. The first chapter of this work is focused on history and the most important parts of developing 3D applications of Irrlicht Engine. The 3D applications development using available graphic tools is described in the second part of the thesis.
Development of Android Applications
Husa, Martin ; Heriban, Pavel (referee) ; Roupec, Jan (advisor)
This Master’s thesis contains search study about operating system Android, principles of game application programming and practical example of game for Android. The genre of game can be classify as 2D platformer. Application with thesis text will serve as learning tool in VUT FSI or as manual for game developing.
ABB RobotStudio - examples in C#
Mittaš, Tomáš ; Roupec, Jan (referee) ; Lang, Stanislav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is concerned about programming movements of a robot developed by company ABB in a programming language C#. The aim of thesis is to show unconventional ways of using C# programming language. In the introduction are briefly described the instruments for programming and robot simulation. Following chapters are devoted to history of robots, their categories, sensors and programming and also to introduction of company ABB and their products, which are used in this thesis. In the conclusion is comparison and analysis of both used environments. Thesis also contains instructions for making an application and simulation and also a demonstration video of functional demo project in simulation and on real robot.
Automatic determination of dimensional changes of concrete mixtures during solidification
Hortvík, Martin ; Roupec, Jan (referee) ; Heriban, Pavel (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the design and implementation of a desktop application designed to determine the dimensional changes of concrete mixtures during solidification. The work includes implementation of the server portal for real-time data evaluation. The introductory part deals with the analysis of the measurement task and the original solution, as well as the specification of the new application and its deployment in real operation. The next part of the thesis describes current software technologies used in the development of desktop and server applications. The design and implementation of both parts of the solution is a major part of the work. In the last part, the real-time functionality test of the application is presented.
Data mining analysis of chemical bonds in alloys
Nechutová, Vendula ; Šeda, Miloš (referee) ; Roupec, Jan (advisor)
The thesis deals with aplication of data mining methods for the analysis of two Ni3Si supercells, one with a stable grain boundary and the second one with unstable grain boundary. DOS and COHP curves are examined using selected curve matching methods. The surroundings of the individual atoms are examined by the Voronoi diagram. This information was used to reveal the differences in binding between stable and unstable supercell.
The university and its campuses – information and navigation (mobile application)
Cupák, Michal ; Roupec, Jan (referee) ; Heriban, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with development of multiplatform mobile applications. Part of the thesis is the design and implementation of a mobile application to facilitate the orientation of people in a large university environment. The application is designed for Android and iOS mobile operating systems and is implemented in the Ionic development environment. The application provides basic information about individual buildings of the university, displays buildings on the map and allows the user to navigate these buildings.
Distibuted Optimization Programmes
Dvořák, Pavel ; Popela, Pavel (referee) ; Roupec, Jan (advisor)
Master‘s thesis deals with the theory of distributed optimization programs (next time just DOP), the suggestion and programme sample solver DOP and verification of the functionality of DOP ideas, principles and system architecture.
Unstructured Mesh Generation
Rozehnalová, Petra ; Roupec, Jan (referee) ; Hlavička, Rudolf (advisor)
Meshes based on triangulation (2D) or tetrahedralization (3D) are widely used in applications such as computer graphics, interpolation, surveying, and terrain modelling. Although the most important use is in numerical methods for the solution of partial differential equations. This solution is use for simulation of complex physical processes, which are described by this equations. The main topic of this thesis is mash generation.
Server monitoring component
Boček, Jaromír ; Heriban, Pavel (referee) ; Roupec, Jan (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis deals with the development of a universal server monitoring component for collecting data from various servers. This component meets the requirements for easy installation, setup and activation of the specified server. The monitored unit releases information that the monitored server is active and completely functioning, in particular, information on CPU utilization, state of disk utilization, and state of all logged users. The presented multiplatform concept puts emphasis on the most common platforms, such as Linux and Windows. In addition, transfer of acquired data through the Internet obstacles in the form of firewall configurations and other security technologies has been solved within this work.
Algorithms for Synthesis of Musical Sounds
Novák, Samuel Matyáš ; Heriban, Pavel (referee) ; Roupec, Jan (advisor)
This work concerns the problem of synthesizing musical sounds, specifically the problem of designing oscillator algorithms. The problem is approached from the perspective of function composition and phase distortion. Interpolation polynomials, iteration methods and optimization were employed when designing the necessary functions. Phase accumulator and a sine waveshaping function were constructed. Furthermore, a way of distorting the sine waveform was presented. Finally, a method of synthesizing detuned voices of a sawtooth wave was described.
