There are also stated different types of weaning and if it is possible to prevent stress in foald by well selected type of weaning. Third chapter is focused on natural communication with horse, on signals sent out by horse and if human is able to understand those signals and adjust communication by this. Fourth chapter is focused on work on lunge and its following effect on backing the horse. The work continues by following sixth chapter, where is described horse backing procedure by Beran (2009). Subseasonal temperature trends in Europe (1961-2000) and their links to atmospheric circulation
Cahynová, Monika ; Pokorná, Lucie
We use daily maximum and minimum temperatures and the daily temperature range from 136 stations in Europe in the period 1961–2000 to precisely locate their seasonal and subseasonal trends within the year. Linear trends are calculated for moving “subseasons” of 10, 20, 30, 60, and 90 days, each shifted by one day. Over most of Europe, the observed warming is greatest in winter. In Iceland and the Mediterranean, a pronounced warming is only present in summer. Significant autumn cooling was found in Eastern and Southeastern Europe for both TX and TN. Other non-warming periods occur in Western and Central Europe in February, April, and late June. Trends of DTR are inconclusive. Changes in the frequency of atmospheric circulation types usually explain a substantial part of the observed climatic trends; however, the influence varies between regions, times of the year, subseason lengths, numbers of circulation types, and input variables for the classification of circulation types.
The proposal of geological-biological teaching path around Mařský vrch near Vimperk
POKORNÁ, Lucie
The main aim of this thesis was to create a teaching path around Mařský vrch, which could serve as a supplement to teaching biology especially for primary schools and grammar schools (children of age 11 to 15). In this thesis, I focused on the processing characteristics of the area, didactical recommendation and the proposal of the path with various stops. Eleven stops were designed. Description and educational use for specific subjects, questions and challenges, or educational games to each of the stops were processed. Worksheets were created for some stops. Documentary photographs were made for all of the stops.
The Local Paupers Support Association. Reflection of the Paupers in the early 19th century

Six of these blocks have been tested and the results of these are being used as a preparation for the implementation of the remaining six. The worksheets and graphomotory worksheets for preschool children were designed to accompany the topics.
Comparison of solar and geomagnetic effects on the atmospheric circulation variability modes
Huth, Radan ; Pokorná, Lucie ; Bochníček, Josef ; Hejda, Pavel
The shapes, spatial extent, and intensity of modes of low-frequency variability of atmospheric circulation in the Northern Hemisphere in winter are significantly affected by the phase of the 11-yr solar cycle. Here we extend the analysis to the geomagnetic activity, and compare the results with the solar activity.
Effect of solar activity on the modes of variability of atmospheric circulation
Huth, Radan ; Pokorná, Lucie ; Bochníček, Josef ; Hejda, Pavel
Solar activity effect on relative intensity and the range of variability modes has been proved.
