This work is specialized in milling tools. The basic characteristics of milling are described in the first part, where emphasis is put on the characteristic of machine tool operations, on description of the basic milling ways and cutting conditions. Next part makes the characteristic of milling tools from the viewpoint of construction, tool material, the way of labeling and using. Last part of this work is concentrated on summary and reciprocal comparing of chosen tools in production assortment of three significant home and world producers. The comparing is made for face milling cutters produced by Pramet Tools Ltd., Sandvik Coromant and Ceratizit S.A.
Production of a Bicycle Model Using Additive Method Fused Deposition Modeling

The thesis is focused on describing the current state of product design issues, in particular available rapid prototyping technologies . The work focuses on 3D model of bicycle using the graphic´s program Autodesk Inventor. Production of the bicycle was made on the 3D printer uPrint byusing methods of Fused Deposition Modeling. The work also contents techno-economic evaluation.
Technology of manufacturing of titan exhaust

The Diploma Thesis deals with the technology of manufacturing the titan exhaust for a two-stroke engine. It includes a description of the manufacturing procedure. It analyzes in detail the forming issue of sheet-metal parts in order to eliminate the spring-back effect, and it finds possible solutions to this problem.
Manufacturing technology of low friction rings

The content of this thesis deals with the manufacturing of the prototyped series of low friction ring, proposing of the serial production and economical and technical evaluation. This thesis also solves the surfacing of low friction rings and testing. The thesis is devided into two main parts. First part deals with selection of material, tools and process of manufacturing low friction ring. Second part concerns surfacing and after testing. The thesis ends with economic and technical evaluation.
Usage of the Fused Deposition Modeling Method for Medical Purposes

The bachelor‘s thesis deals with the use of medical devices for medical purposes. The first part focuses on the current state of the problem and describes the current rapid prototyping technology. The second part describes an implementation of production of knee joint bones, a 3D printer by using the method uPrint Fused Deposition Modeling and deals with the evaluation of the cost of producing 3D models using the Fused Deposition Modeling in comparison with other current technologies.
Strength analysis of cutting tools

This work is focused on the stress-strain analysis of a cutting tool. At the beginning, the study of available literature and scientific articles relating the topic is carried out. The solution of stresses and strains in whole real system has been carried out based on the computational simulation using the finite element method (FEM). The work contains a detailed description of the creation of the computational model. Model of geometry of the system has been created in the SolidWorks program. Computational simulation including the solution was implemented in the ANSYS Workbench program as well as in the classical environment of ANSYS 12.0. This work includes the presentation of results and subsequent stress-strain analysis of the cutting tool. Last part of this work deals with the modal analysis and harmonic analysis of cutting tools made in classical environment of ANSYS program.
Manufacturing concept of a composite swing arm

The subject of this master’s thesis is manufacturing design and production of CFRP swingarm prototype for off-road motorcycle. Theoretical part describes conventional types of swingarm, provides basic introduction to composites and manufacturing technologies. Practical part describes production steps, assembly jigs and assembly process. The last part of thesis deals with measuring stiffness properties using photogrammetry system TRITOP.
Design of oscillating head for surface welding of Inconel 625

This diploma thesis deals with the structural design and production of a oscillating head for surface welding of a protective layer of Inconel® 625 superalloy on membrane walls. The design is preceded by a research for possible variants of the solution. Of the two designs, one was successfully manufactured and assembled, and incentives for future improvements were set. For easy optimization and testing of the device, an oscillating motion program was created in the LinMoT Talk 6.9 software. The production costs for the manufactured equipment were then calculated and the recommended selling price was determined, based on a general calculation formula. The result of the project is a functional device, a proposal for its control and a technical - economic evaluation of the production process.
