Use of Video Home Training in Families with Children Showing Specific Language Impairment

The thesis deals with social interaction of parents with children suffering from specific language imairment. It analyses communication skills of the parents and their influence on the speech development of the child. Further it concentrates more deeply on the difficulties that specific language impairment brings along to the social interaction between parents and their children. It comes to think of the possibility of cooperation of the speech and language therapist with families of children suffering from this language impairmant. It offers a method video home training as a possible solution for the development of communicaion skills of the parents interacting with their children. Video home training is presented in more details and is used in two families with children suffering from the specific language impairment. There are described description and results of such an intervention in the practical part of this thesis. The characteristics of communication needs of families with chidren suffering from the specific language impairment are also included.The possibilities of the video home training from the point of view of the speech therapeutic intervention are offered in the last part of the thesis.
Grammar Dysphasia (Dysgramatismus) in the Speech of Pre-schoolers (with developing dysphasia)

This diploma work is focused on childreďs language experience and lexical disorder in children's speech. The goal of this study is to compare the group of language distorted children to the language comprehension control group. The comparison will be performed from the point of view of the ability to use language morphology and syntax in the speech. Newly created diagnostic material will be used for the comparison. Only pre-school children and school-deferred children will be relevant for this research. The content of the study is organized into two parts. The theoretic part will review the development of childrens' speech up to 8 years old children using the wellknown experts' opinion. The analysis of diagnostic methods for research of language morphology and syntax development will follow. I will explain the terms of language experience using the definitions by renowned authors as well. Finally, I will describe the language disorder as a symptom of miscelaneous deseases and disabilities.
The Working of Memory in Adults with Communication Disabilities

In spite of increasing interest at the problematic of memory, the field of memory and logopedia is "tabula rasa". Therefore I try to describe general view of memory at adult people with impaired communication ability in my paper "Memory achievement at adult people with impaired communication ability" . The aim of this work is to map memory function of these people with memory test made by myself. This test is focused on adult people with impaired communication ability and also on healthy adult people which work as a control sample. I also presume that thist test can fill up a blank in test materials for speech therapist and also work as a material for training.

V diplomové práci se autor zabývá problematikou trestné činnosti dětí a mládeže, a to z úhlu pohledu příčin ke kriminalitě vedoucích. Jedná se o téma v odborné literatuře často diskutované. Práce nabízí přiblížení a zmapování současné situace v konkrétní oblasti Karlovarského kraje, na Sokolovsku. Předkládá porovnání výzkumného vzorku dospělých, prokazatelně kriminalitu vykazujících jedinců, se vzorkem mládeže, aktuálně bez výrazněji manifestované sociálně patologické zátěže. Vyslovené hypotézy se soustřeďují na ověření a potvrzení vzájemné souvislosti mezi některými rizikovými faktory a poruchami chování, dále souvislostí poruch chování u dětí a mládeže a trestnou činností. Integration of children with disabilities in regular kindergarten

The aim of this diploma thesis is to analyze the integration of children with disabilities into a general kindergarten within the regions of Nymburk and Kolin, to describe appropriate auxiliary measures, and to use the analysis to form efficient strategies or a series of auxiliary measures. This study is focused on the process of integration at preschool institutions. It builds upon structural descriptions of particular cases in order to showcase efficient and beneficial cases, describe risks and specifics of this level of education. This thesis aims to map particular cases of integration of children with disabilities, characterize the current developments of integration at general kindergartens.
Speech therapy aids for children with communication disorders

The topic of the thesis is speech therapy aids for children with communication disorders, resp. children with a different mother tongue. This means to analyze the adoption of the language system support for children with a different mother tongue at different stages. The theoretical part is divide to four topics: younger school age, school maturity, education, language and communication ability. Younger school age is focused on the specification of development period. Second topic, school maturity, is focused on the preparedness, unpreparedness or immaturity of children for school attendance. The education topic is focused on specification aims of education and cross-sectional thems. Then it is focused on immigration legislation for the chidren with different mother tangue in the Czech Republic. The topic of speech and communication ability are insight into the communication. The part of the topic is focused to bilingvism. The practical part is focused on aids, which are tailored for development of speech of children with different mother tongue. Each book or educational on-line software is supplemented with a short annotation. The aids were used within the Framework of educational lessons. Diagnosing issues of word stock in preschool children

This diploma thesis is focused on problems of diagnosing vocabulary by preschool children. The thesis consists of two main areas. This is a theoretical part in which summarizes findings concerning the diagnosis in general but also specifically speech and vocabulary. Get caught up in the specifics of preschool and testing capabilities vocabulary in this period but also variations in speech development. Theoretical knowledge about testing and adapting foreign tests are then confronted with the process of testing the practical part. The practical part consists of several parts - adaptation American test CREVT 2 in Czech language, testing of children with communication disorders and healthy populations. Speech aids for Children and Schoolchildren with comunication disorder

The topic of the bachelor thesis is speech therapy aids for children with communication disorders. This is discussed both on theoretical and practical basis. The theoretical part defines speech therapy aids. The description proceeds from a general point of view to a more specific definition in the context of disrupted ability to communicate. Individual parts of the thesis allow a more profound perspective on these issues, including functions, principles, definitions and classification. In the practical part of my work I present the results of my research focusing on mapping speech therapy aids for children with communication disorder at a present-day marketplace (on a random sample of speech therapy aids). The goal of the bachelor thesis is to show a comprehensive view on the theoretical issues of speech therapy aids for children with speech therapy disorders. The disertation deals with forming a unit view of Oral - Motor Speech Exercises. It ofers and revers to the importace of the motoric skill development in the orafacial area with help of Oral - Motor Speech Exercises, before addresing the articulation remedy proces itself. The latter fact is often neglegted. The speech therapy recovery is failing then, or it gets prematurely terminated. The dissartation is organised in seven chapters. The first two chapters deal with a theoretical delimination of the basic concepts and an analysis into the Czech and overseas technical literature available including a selectrion of therapeutic approaches. The third chapter analyses the anatomy of the orofacial system in speech therapy. The fourth chapter scrutinizes the speech from the point of view of the motoric performance and its control by the central nervous system. The fifth chapter reviews oral - motoric skill development.
