Application of the act and subsequent regulation on cyber security at state administration´s offices
Pech, Jan ; Čermák, Igor (advisor) ; Jícha, Karel (referee)
The thesis is focused on the Czech act no. 181/2014 Sb., on cyber security and subsequent regulations, introduces origin and importance of act, defines the state administration´s office which identifies important information systems according to regulations, and subsequently thesis detailed analyses act and regulation on cyber security in relation to the defined state administration´s office. Keynote of this thesis is show the real application of identified obligations of the act and regulation to the defined state administration´s office, especially a design, implementation and management of organizational and technical security measures, including the evaluation of real impact on information security. To achieve the set goals author of this thesis uses the analysis of legislation, and draws own conclusions from author´s position of a security technologist who actively participated in the design security policy, and implementation and management of security tools. The benefit of this thesis is complex overview of the security employees work at defined state administration´s office, overview of the real fulfilment obligations of the act and regulation of cybernetic security, and ultimately this thesis brings ideas for further development of technical security tools. This thesis can brings benefit to other important information systems administrators as a set of processes, proposals and recommendation for their own information security management system. This thesis is structurally divided into four main parts. The first theoretical part introduces origin, importance and impact of the act on state and private organizations. The second analytical part analyses act and subsequent regulations in relation to the defined state administration´s office. The third practical part shows the real application of organizational and technical security measures. The fourth last part evaluates the real impact of measures on information security.
User support at Ministry of Agriculture´s offices
Pech, Jan ; Novotný, Ota (advisor) ; Kučera, Martin (referee)
This bachelor's thesis is concerned with a form of helpdesk system and brings recommendations to improve quality of IT services for users working at Ministry of Agriculture's offices with using ITIL concept. To achieve my goals this bachelor's thesis is using recommendations of ITIL and results from analysis of current situation of user support on each one of the offices and from report on State Land Office's helpdesk system too. Reason for making this bachelor's thesis is heterogeneity of providing user support among offices. This situation can not guarantee the same quality of IT services to users, there are not exactly defined processes of controling user's error reports or exatly define processes for managing known problems. It causes complications in case of joining offices or in case of providing user support across offices. This bachelor's thesis structure is composed of three main parts. The first part brings definition of the user support, information about user support's work and instruments, and it brings definition of ITIL with presentation ITIL 2011's recommendations for administrate IT services. The second part analyses and presents helpdesk system's data and data gained from questionnaires survey across Ministry of Agriculture's offices. The third part uses all the data and information in order to propose a form of unified helpdesk system which keeps sovereignty and the needs of each office and brings recommendations in support of this proposal.
Current Trends in the Use of classical Instruments in popular Music.
Pech, Jan ; HOŠEK, Jiří (advisor) ; HUDEC, Jiří (referee)
In this work we focus on the relation of popular music genres and classical instruments. Using the database searching we find the lists of styles using each of the instruments of symphonic orchestra. For improvement of the understanding the relationship graphs are presented for each instrument. Resulting graphs are printed also for the whole groups of the classical instruments. For all the cases a short analysis of results is given and the styles representing some characteristic usage of the instrument are described in detail. The third chapter groups the experience of the stage performances including the overview of available instruments and technic of sound pickup and the question of incorporating the acoustic instruments to popular music performances is discussed. The last section of the main text describes an approach, which represents one of the ways of enhancing the artificial music by the musical elements characteristic for the popular genres.
2D Simulation of Flow Around Heated Circular Cylinder with Variable Viscosity Using High Order Spectral Elements
Pech, Jan ; Maršík, F.
The article presents results from simulations of fluid flow around a circular cylinder in various regimes of flow velocities given by Reynolds number (Re) and temperatures of cylinder wall. Approximation with very high
Computation of flow around heated cylinder
Pech, Jan
Results of two dimensional numerical simulation of flow around heated cylinder will be presented. The focus is on frequency of vortex shedding in regime of low Reynolds numbers. Computational method based on scheme of spectral elements for Navier-Stokes equations, modified to involve temperature dependent viscosity.
Infringement risks concering taxation in the Czech republic
Pech, Jan ; Vančurová, Alena (advisor) ; Doležalová, Ivana (referee)
This bachelor's thesis deals with an infringement concerning taxation in the Czech Republic. The main aim is to identify risks associated with the infringement, to estimate their quantification and to propose a solution for their reduction or complete restriction. The first part deals with European law in general and the risks resulting from its disobeying which is important for the practical part of thesis. The next part describes a process of the infringement and a method of determining sanctions. The last part is specifically focused on the Czech Republic, where two solved and three ongoing infringement cases are described. Estimated sanctions and suggested solutions for these cases are also described in this part.
Paul Hindemith´s cello sonatas
Pech, Jan ; Ericsson, Mikael (advisor) ; Petráš, Miroslav (referee) ; Hošek, Jiří (referee)
This thesis is focused on sonatas for violoncello in the work of composer Paul Hindemith. The main goal was summarizing of information , which could be useful for advanced readers and interprets. The opening chapter contains brief biographical review, embedded for better understanding of historical context and characterization of P.Hindemith as an important musical personality. This Chapter is completed by review of his compositions for violoncello in general and some remarks on his technigue of composition. Next four chapters contain description of published Hindemith sonatas in more detail. Information about sonatas origin and its structure are presented. The analysis is completed by many examples of the music stave. The main result of this indeed commented information useful for interpretation. Regarding to different periods, when the sonatas were written, we can see also the development of Hindemith´s composition technigue.
2D Numerical simulations of wake behind cylinder using spectral element method
Pech, Jan
We investigated 2D numerical simulation of wake in the flow behind circular cylinder. The main object of observance was the frequency of vortex shedding (Strouhal number (St)) depending on the Reynolds number (Re). Using spectral element method we performed a set of simulations to check the onset of vortex shedding, e.g. the critical Reynolds number and relation St-Re. Model of wake behind heated cylinder was computed using commercial software.
