Its main purpose is to automatically backup email archives of Microsoft Outlook application represented by PST data files to a network storage equipped by hard drive fault-tolerant system called RAID. The application is created in Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Express Edition C# environment.
Improved Prediction of Social Tags Using Data Mining

This master’s thesis deals with using Text mining as a method to predict tags of articles. It describes the iterative way of handling big data files, parsing the data, cleaning the data and scoring of terms in article using TF-IDF. It describes in detail the flow of program written in programming language Python 3.4.3. The result of processing more than 1 million articles from Wikipedia database is a dictionary of English terms. By using this dictionary one is capable of determining the most important terms from article in corpus of articles. Relevancy of consequent tags proves the method used in this case.
Monitoring Solution for the BI Project Maintenance Optimization

Master's thesis focuses on BI projects maintenance optimization of company Intelligent Technologies s.r.o., which is one of the leading suppliers of Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing solutions in Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into three main sections – theoretical, analytical and practical. The main goal of these sections is an explanation of important concepts that are necessary to understand the solution, which is being created, analysis of the current state of selected company and detailed description of creating main solution. In this thesis following Microsoft programs were used - Visual Studio 2015, SSIS, SQL Server Management Studio 2017 and Power BI.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate the financial situation of the company fyftstore s.r.o., which deals with retail. Based on the results of this analysis, propose an optimization solution, which will be designed on the basis of information obtained by analyzing data acquired from historical records of the company. Selected economic indicators of financial analysis will be used to evaluate the financial situation, financial analysis will be processed using user-defined functions for MS Excel. The data will be processed, cleaned and linked in MS Excel and Power Pivot add-on, then visualized in Power BI.

The Use of Means of Artificial Intelligence for the Decision Making Support in the Firm

The diploma thesis focuses on the use of genetic algorithms for tasks related to the travelling salesman problem. Based on theoretical knowledge and problem analysis a proposal of the solution is provided. This creates a daily route plan for service technicians with regard to constraints. The case study shows that the proposed solution in comparison with manual scheduling by experience enables to reduce transportation costs.
Usage of OSS/FS in enterprise network

This bachelor's thesis describes propose and realization of a new evidence/reclaim system. It uses only software with an available source code – licensed as Open Source or Free Software. Main purposes are to streamline and simplify common processes in service department, for example inserting, printing, editing and listing of reclaims, creating reports, automatic executing of repeated operation and etc. Among other aims of this thesis rank accessing to the reclaim database via internet and application of security rules for an access to and work with system. MySQL server was chosen as the database system, as the HTTP server was chosen Apache. Programming languages HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and SQL were used for development. Theoretical observation are mentioned first followed by analyzation of the former state in the service department and sumarization of found problems. Next key part contains detailed steps solving these problems and resulting benefits.
