The Prediction at Capital Markets
Kudrna, Jan ; Jiří,, Polách (referee) ; Dostál, Petr (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the utilization of artificial intelligence methods for prediction at capital markets and includes project of utilization of the chosen parts of chaos theory and artificial neural networks for prediction at capital markets.
Diagnostics and Maintenance Design
Schindler, Marek ; Pohanka, Martin (referee) ; Kudrna, Jan (advisor)
Failures of the roads are an integral part of the use and aging infrastructure. Before proposing their maintenance and repair is necessary to make the diagnosis of the road. Technical specifications of TP 82 and TP 87 describe the correct execution of diagnostic methods, their methods of evaluation and suggested repair of pavements. In the Bachelor's work I am making the diagnosis of asphalt, with the subsequent proposal for repairs on the road III/4301 in the village of Nechvalín. All measurements, evaluation, design, repair and photo documentation is included in this work.
Evaluation of pavement surface noise reductions
Mejzlík, Martin ; Spies, Karel (referee) ; Kudrna, Jan (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor´s thesis is to make an introduction to quiet pavements, analyzing the sources of tire/pavement noise, study the principles of this pavement and summarize their properties. This thesis deals with method of measurement tire/pavement noise and evaluate the concrete measurements. The main aim of the thesis is to evaluate measurement in Zádveřice near Zlín.
Cost analysis of engineering structures
Klec, Martin ; Kudrna, Jan (referee) ; Výskala, Miloslav (advisor)
The thesis titled "Cost analysis of engineering structures" presents a comparison of the life cycle costs of linear structures with an asphalt surface against the life cycle cost of linear structures with a concrete surface. The thesis deals with prices, costs, calculations and budgets in its theoretical part. The following chapters present history and current status, road constructions, life cycle of the construction and differences between concrete and asphalt covering. Practical part of the thesis is divided into three parts. In each sub-section, there is a practical example of comparing the costs of the life cycle of linear structure with the asphalt surface against the costs of the life cycle of linear structure with the concrete surface. Everything is expressed in graphs.
Properties of binders suitable for hot applied sealants and bituminous membranes
Musil, Vladimír ; Dašek, Ondřej (referee) ; Kudrna, Jan (advisor)
The work describes the basic laboratory characteristics of selected asphalt binders that could be suitable for hot applied sealants and bituminous membranes. Paving grade bitumen, polymer modified bitumen, asfalt-rubber and polymer modified bitumen with crumb rubber addition were used. Properties of binders were compared using tests of dynamic viscosity, needle penetration, cone penetration, softening point, resilience and elastic recovery.
MSCR test in dynamic shear rheometer
Střasáková, Monika ; Coufalík, Pavel (referee) ; Kudrna, Jan (advisor)
The laboratory properties of bituminous binders in relation to permanent deformation are described in this bachelor‘s thesis. The principle and procedure of MSCR test will be explained in the theoretical part. The principle of empirical tests (needle penetration, elastic recovery and softening point) will be also described. The properties of four bituminous binders will be evaluated in practical part. The comparison of binders will be performed based on test results.
RC load-bearing structure design of car park
Kudrna, Jan ; Perla, Jan (referee) ; Šimůnek, Petr (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the design and assessment of reinforced concrete structure supporting two-storey building of the underground garage for cars. In the space above the garage is designed open area with public space. The project was designed especially outer water-impermeable construction method white bath and a base plate and a perimeter wall. The structure was designed as a comprehensive model. Computing analyzed by finite element method. All selected elements were assessed at the ultimate limit state and limit state, namely to limit state of cracking load and forced stress.
Load bearing structure of administrative building
Kudrna, Jan ; Perla, Jan (referee) ; Šimůnek, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the design and assessment of reinforced concrete load bearing structure office building of two floors above ground and one basement floor. During the design were appropriately combined manual idealized models solved structures with complex models of selected parts of the structure calculation by finite element method. Were assessed elements: locally supported ceiling structure above the first slab above, three reinforced stairs and beam. All selected elements were assessed at the ultimate limit state, reinforced concrete slab and the serviceability limit state.
Geographics Information Systems in Transportation
Souček, Václav ; Kudrna, Jan (referee) ; Kuba,, Jaroslav (referee) ; Kačmařík, Jaroslav (referee) ; Macur, Jiří (advisor)
The work is focused on the issues associated with the use of geographical information systems in transport. Of the various types of transport was chosen railway transport for its great potential particularly in the field of freight transport, but also because it is a relatively environmentally friendly. This fact is also well known to the leaders of the European Union, who are engaged in the field of transportation. The European Commission in its documents (green and white papers) gives accent on the development of railway transportation and combined transportation, because this is the path to secure the sustainable development of transport. In the course of this study the current state of information systems several problems were discovered. One problem is the fragmentation of the partial information systems and the associated strong administrative burden. This situation stems both from the incomplete legislative framework, but also from the lack of the concept and awareness of the managerial positions. This work deals with other selected issues. The first is the area of designing the data model topology track that satisfies the requirements set out in legislation, both European and national level. The data model was designed with regard to a sufficient degree of variability. The work contains a section dedicated to the implementation of the data model and solution design of problems associated with visualization arcs. Another area is the collection of geographic data. Data collection is one of the key tasks in the implementation and maintenance of the information system. The acquisition of the geographical data can be lengthy and costly. We therefore suggest how to use inertial measurement in acquisition of topological data. This method could speed up the entire process of data capturing with sufficient precision and reduce the costs to the acceptable range.
Inovative asphalt mixtures to flexible pavement structure with using reclaimed asphalt
Horáček, Daniel ; Poulík, Zdeněk (referee) ; Kudrna, Jan (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on the design and production of two innovative asphalt mixtures of the VMT 22 type into the base asphalt course. The newly produced blends contain modified binders, such as polymer modified bitumen (PMB) and Crumb rubber modified bitumen (CRMB). The theoretical part of the thesis describes the current state of the use of Reclaimed asphalt pavement in the base asphalt course. Furthermore, there are described types of asphalt mixtures for the base asphalt course are used in the Czech Republic and other countries. The conclusion of the theoretical part is devoted to the description of Reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP), its storage and processing in a hot mix center. In the practical part of this thesis, there is described design and test of two High modulus asphalt mixture VMT 22, into which 25% RAP is dosed cold without rejuvenators. These asphalt mixtures are then subjected to functional tests (Stiffness of asphalt mixture test, Resistance to fatigue test, Low temperature properties of asphalt mixture test). The results of the functional tests are compared with the functional requirements in the Czech regulation TP 151. In the end of this thesis it is verified by means of the LayEps software that a suitable design of the asphalt mixture can significantly extend the road life.
