Family behaviour in the Czech Republic

The bachelor's thesis is focused on the demographic analysis of changes in family behaviour of the population of the Czech Republic especially in period before and after the year 1989. The first part defines terms related to family and family behaviour. Besides, it also outlines the historical development of family and important influences on changes in population thinking. The analytical part of the thesis deals with various indicators such as fertility, abortion, marriage and divorce and their demographic comparison over time. The third part is devoted to current trends influencing family behaviour and the final fourth part outlines its main implications of changes and also shows the expected future development.
Use of the positive impacts of the project method in youth apprenticeship.

The thesis is focused on exploiting the positive impacts of project-based apprenticeship youth. The theoretical part focuses mainly on design methods, its formation, the basic ideas and principles. The practical part of the actual project determines whether there is a real situation in the implementation of the principles of design methods. In conclusion, a structured interview with students who participated in the project.
The diference in suicide of men and women in the Czech republic

The aim of this thesis is to show the development and differences in suicide rates between men and women according to various demographic characteristics on the territory of the Czech Republic. This work is divided into several chapters, At first I deal with the history of suicide of men and women , then I will discuss some of the causes which operate on suicide from a psychological point of view. The main part of the project is concerned on the analysis of suicide rates by gender,divided by various demographic characteristics such as age, season, method of construction, size and other communities.
Development of crime in the Czech Republic by sex with focus on the economic crime

The aim of this thesis is to provide the truest picture of general and economic crime in the Czech Republic. The crime will be viewed in several ways. First, in terms of the recorded criminal activities, which are providing the information nearest the real crime, and also in terms of number of the prosecuted, the accused and the convicted persons, which are data providing further insights into the structure of crime according to demographic characteristics of the offenders. In the theoretical part, there will be described basic criminogenic factors affecting the situation, structure and development of crime for even more comprehensive picture of crime. The analytical part is divided into two parts. The first part is given to situation, structure and development of the overall crime (usually by particular types of crime) and its deeper analysis by gender, age, education and marital status of the offenders. The second part deals with the economic crime and its development by gender.
The development of abortion in the Czech Republic and its international comparison.

This work is focused on abortion and the factors influencing its development. Attitudes toward abortion are subjective but they can be influenced by religion or politics that are compressed by state. The major part of the work is devoted to comparing abortion among Romania, Spain and Sweden. The historical development of abortion is outlined in each country and the current legislative conditions for undergoing surgery too. Historical development in selected countries was affected by various factors. The development section is also attributed to two major demographic transitions. The analysis use different indicators and numbers of abortions are compared also in terms of total fertility rate, number of births and the mean age of women at childbirth.
The development of birth rate in the Czech Republic and its consequences on the capacity of pre-school facilities

This paper is focused on development of population and birth rate in the Czech Republic and factors influencing the birth rate. Subsequently it is focused on forms and the capacity of pre-school facilities. Inhabitants not only of the Czech Republic have undergone major changes of demographic behavior. Fertility is affected by many factors but the main cause cannot be unambiguously determined. The state reacts on the decreasing birth rate by decreasing number of pre-schools facilities. Currently, parents can place their children especially in nurseries, kindergartens and other alternative institutions.
Number of inhabitants and problems of its finding

The bachelor thesis has a theoretical character that descibes the sources of population. The aim of this work is to approach the issue different data from sources based on population, to point out the cause of differentiation and to outline possible solutions unification of the whole system. The work is divided into the eight chapters, icluding introduction, conclusion and bibliographies. In the first part is described in detail gradually the Census and Housing, intercensus balance of the Czech Statistical Office and Information system of population register of the Ministry of Interior CZE. The conclusion consists of comparing sources and description of the propose solution issues.
Change in marital behavior of population of the Czech Republic

In this Bachelor thesis I examine Czech family on the basis of demographic indicators in years 1945 -- 2010. After 1989 there has been a change in the family behaviour of the Czech Republic inhabitants. The theoretical part explains every examined term and history of the Czech family. In this part I also describe historical development of the Czech Republic since 1945 for better understanding of encountered situations in the Czech Republic demography. I have divided the analytical part into 3 time periods - 1945 -- 1967, 1968 -- 1989 and years 1990 -- 2010. I have illustrated development of demographical indicators by graphs. In the third part of this thesis i have summed up social and economical consequences of changes in the family behaviour of the Czech people. I have also focused on the suggestion on expected development of indicators which influence family behaviour of inhabitants.
Analysis of selected demographic and economical time series

Standard of living in a country is given by a situation of the national economy. High life expectancy, low infant mortality or low birthrate is associated with a good standard of living. The objective of this thesis is to analyze relations between demographic and economical time series. The time series are shown graphically and described. A method of correlation analysis is used for reaching the objective. The expectations about dependences between the selected indicators are tested. With the aid of this method, sense, power and direction of the dependence are evaluated. In this thesis there is for example confirmed a direct linear dependence between general government expenditure on health and life expectancy, which is known from the literature. Other expectations are selected randomly and it found a direct linear dependence between real GDP, number of immigrants and emigrants, for instance. This thesis explains the causes and the consequences of the development of some demographic and economical quantities.
The development of mortality in the Czech Republic

The goal of this bachelor work is to provide a comprehensive overview of the development of mortality in the Czech Republic according to data of the Czech Statistical Office from 1920 to 2010. In the introduction there is mentioned the metodology of mortality indicators. The main part analyzes the development of infant and neonatal mortality, specific mortality rates by sex for five-year age intervals, development of life expectancy (at births and at selected ages) and indirectly standardized rates mortality for males and females separately. In conclusion, regional differences are compared by selected characteristics of mortality in the regions of the Czech Republic.
