Evaluation of documentation on assessment of four selected cases assessing found indications in welds on NPP equipment
Pták, Svatopluk ; Masák, Jan ; Gabriel, Dušan
The report is focused on an evaluation of a documentation on the assessment of four selected cases assessing found indicators in welds on Czech NPP equipment. The chosen approach to the assessment of the specific finding is thoroughly evaluated for each of the four selected cases.
Antimicrobial activity of cobalt bis(dicarbollide) aminoderivatives
Kvasničková, E. ; Masák, J. ; Šícha, Václav
We carried out experiments focused on the determination of the antimicrobial acitivity of selected representatives of cobalt bis{dicarbollide) aminoderivates. lt was proved, that studied yeast strain C. parapsilosis DBM 2165 is not sensitive to the cobalt bis{dicarbollide) or its aminoderivatives. Gram-negative bacteria P. aeruginosa B-59188 is weakly susceptive to cobalt bis(dicarbollide), but no significant inhibition of growth by cobalt bis(dicarbollide) aminoderivatives was observed. The highest effect on inhibition of microbial growth was confirmed in the case of gram-positive bacteria 5. aureus. This observation demonstrates the real possibility of using these substances in the treatment of infection caused by gram-positive bacterial strains.
Creep Analysis of the High Pressure Inner Vessel DSPWR - comparison of creep models
Masák, Jan ; Gabriel, Dušan ; Hrubý, Zbyněk ; Plešek, Jiří
The report summarizes the results of II. stage creep analysis of the High Pressure Inner Vessel DSPWR. In the first part of the report two standard creep models are briefly introduced describing the secondary stage creep (Norton's law) and primary stage creep (Norton-Bailey's law), including the verification of results. In the second part of the report the results of all calculations on the High Pressure Inner Vessel are presented using considered creep models.
Case study using the creep probabilistic exponential model and explicit integration method with time step control
Gabriel, Dušan ; Hrubý, Zbyněk ; Masák, Jan ; Plešek, Jiří ; Kopačka, Ján ; Pařík, Petr ; Straka, F. ; Albl, P.
The issues concerning accuracy and stability control of original explicit algorithm for integration of differential systems arising from viscoplastic or creep finite element analyses was explored. The attention was focused on the investigation of the numerical stability for complex creep probabilistic exponential model with damage.
Narratological Strategies in Ignát Hermann's short stories
MASÁK, Jakub
The topic of presented bachelor thesis is the narrative concept of short stories created by Ignát Herrmann. All analysed short stories are included in Pražské figurky and Drobní lidé. We will be focused on narrative strategies of chosen stories. The concepts of fictional narrator, narrative acts and the presentation of narration will be followed as well. Introducing theoretical part will define fundamental terms of narratology and the practical part will be analysing concrete stories. The final results will allow us to compare Herrmann?s stories with the most significant ones ? with the short stories of Jan Neruda.

Implementation of modelling of creep with damage to system PMD
Korouš, Jan ; Masák, J. ; Křístek, A.
The paper introduces different constitutive relations used bythe damage modelling in case of structures working in high temperaturecreep conditions. The capabilities of the FEM calculation system PMDare shown, which enable the modelling of the creep effects.
Performance of Reduced Quadrature Elements in Creep Problems
Korouš, Jan ; Pták, S. ; Plešek, Jiří ; Masák, J.
Reduced integration in FEM is often used for preventing so-called "locking" of elements. In the paper, the properties of isoparametricelements with different order of Gauss-Legendre integration wereinvestigated. Their behaviour was demonstrated on several creep problems.
