On Wakes in an Asymmetric Supersonic Flow Past Trailing Edges of a Profile Blade Cascade
Šafařík, Pavel ; Šimurda, David
Paper is concerned with results of research on the asymmetric supersonic flow past trailing edge. Distributions of the exit flow angle are compared to theoretical and reference value.
Aerodynamika špičkového řezu turbínové lopatky 1220mm
Synáč, J. ; Rudas, B. ; Šťastný, M. ; Luxa, Martin ; Šimurda, David ; Šafařík, Pavel
The paperis focused on aerodynamic characteristics of the tip section of a steam turbine last stage rotor blade with an active span 12200mm (48").
Experimentální aerodynamický výzkum jako podpora při návrhu turbostrojů
Šafařík, Pavel ; Luxa, Martin ; Šimurda, David
The paper describes a role of experimental aerodynamic research oriented to the support of the design and computauion of turbomachines. The research techniques are briefly introduced. They are namely optical measurements of flow fields and pneumatic measurements by means of traversing. Results of the high-speed aerodynamic modelling of the flow past a blade cascade cascade representing a section in the balding of the last stage of a large output steam turbine are presented.
Modification of synthetic jet actuators for heat transfer
Kordík, Jozef ; Šafařík, Pavel ; Trávníček, Zdeněk
Synthetic jets as means of heat transfer are well known from literature. Aim of the paper is to summarise options how to set synthetic jet actuator so that the heat transfer is enhanced. The paper concerns two ways how to do it. Increasing positive velocity component at the synthetic jet actuator output and adjusting right actuator frequency are those possibilities.
HIGH-SPEED AERODYNAMIC RESEARCH ON BLADE CASCADE REPRESENTING MIDDLE SECTION OF ROTOR BLADING OF LAST STAGE OF STEAM TURBINE OF LARGE OUTPUT
Luxa, Martin ; Synáč, J. ; Šafařík, Pavel ; Šimurda, David ; Šťastný, M.
The paper is concerned with results of an aerodynamic research on the midsection of the last stage rotor blade of a large output steam turbine. Data from optical and pneumatic measurements were obtained in a wide range of isentropic exit Mach numbers and angles of incidence. Velocity, loss coefficient and exit flow angle characteristics are analysed and discussed. Structure of flow fields are described using interferograms and schlieren pictures
Modelling and Measurement of a Shock Wave - Boundary Layer Interaction
Šafařík, Pavel ; Šimurda, David
Partial findings of the shock wave boundary layer interaction are summarized. Some results of measurements of the shock wave boundary layer interaction are presented.
Nestacionární charakteristiky rovinného paprsku, vstřikovaného do korátkové kavity
Knob, Martin ; Uruba, Václav ; Antoš, Pavel ; Popelka, Lukáš ; Šafařík, Pavel ; Adamec, J.
In the article, the results of the biorthogonal decomposition of a 2D TR PIV data of a jet impinging into a trough cavity, are presented. The obtained spatiotemporal structure is shown and its physical meaning is clearly explained.
Numerical modelling of the surface roughness effect on the energy losses in blade cascade
Stanislav, J. ; Příhoda, Jaromír ; Šafařík, Pavel
The work deals with the application of rough wall model implemented in the commercial code FLUENT 6.1 for the solution of subsonic flow through the blade cascade SE1050. Numerical solution is compared with experimental data and the effect of wall roughness on energy losses is estimated for the subsonic flow regime.
Vysokorychlostní aerodynamický výzkum patní lopatkové mříže
Luxa, Martin ; Synáč, J. ; Šafařík, Pavel ; Šimurda, David
The paper is concerned with results of high-speed aerodynamic research on a blade cascade. The blade cascade represents root section of the last stage rotor blades of large output steam turbine. basic aerodynamic characterisitcs of the blade cascade are represented together with flow field photographs in a range of transsonic velocities.
Analysis of the axisymmetric pulsatile flow at the synthetic jet actuator output
Kordík, Jozef ; Trávníček, Zdeněk ; Šafařík, Pavel
This report is focused on a comparison between the experimental and theoretical results. The instantaneous velocity profiles were measured at the synthetic jet actuator output. The theoretical derivation focuses on the axisymmetric pulsatile flow in the tube with an infinite length, and the velocity profiles were derived from Navier-Stokes and continuity equations.
