Monitoring risk behavior of students in selected schools

Anotation This bachelor thesis is dedicated to monitoring by the prevalence of problem behavior among pupils of selected schools and gymnasiums. The aim of this work is to obtain basic information about the extent and what social pathological phenomena in secondary school students most often, acquired knowledge to evaluate and then compare the selected schools. The research method has been used by questionnaire survey. Anonymous questionnaires have been filled with students of selected secondary vocational school and grammar school. The theoretical part is focused on adolescence, basic concepts related to risky behavior, substance abuse, truancy, bullying and ways of prevention of risky behavior. The practical part deals the comparison of selected risk behaviors at two selected schools. The outcome of this work has been analyzed the information obtained on the basis of which it was formulating recommendations for directors and prevention methodology, which risk behavior should be focused in the context of prevention in selected schools.
Prevention of hempen drugs in selected region

The aim of this diploma thesis is analysing the preventive programmes in selected region of Prague 12 and suggesting a optimal preventive programme in the sphere of hempen drugs considering results of talks with experts and outputs of bachelor's thesis Marihuana - knowing and attitudes in selected region. Theoretic part pursues history od preventive programmes in the world and in the Czech republic, basic terminology of preventive programmes and Strategy of preventive programmes in Czech republic for actual period 2013-2018. In practical part is analyzed 27 talks with teachers, methodist of prevention and external trainer about their preventive programmes, pursuant them is compiled optimal selection of preventive programme of addictive sbstances for elementary schools. The selection is responding to respondents' satisfaction with selected preventive programmes and his aim is second a idea to entrust a primary prevention to teachers' hands.
Knowledge of substitutes of salt in food

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of salt and possibility of its replacement in food. The chosen is topical because healthy nutrition is one of current modern trends. Table salt is an entire part of a diet of every person. As the compound of two biogenic elements - sodium and chlorine - it has unsubstitutable function in human body. However, an increased intake of sodium can be associated with health risks, especially hypertension. The World Health Organization recommends a maximum daily intake of salt 5 g. According to current statistics, nevertheless the salt intake in the Czech republic is up to three times higher. Therefore, it is appropriate to reduce the consumption of salt and attempt to its replacement without cutting down the taste of food. One of the goals of this thesis was find out possibilities of replacing the salt and what is their availability. The practical part deals with the results of survey, within these was examined the awareness of salt and the posibility of its replacement among different group of our population (students, pedagogical workers, heads of school canteens). Celiac disease and issues of kid's eating habits in school canteens

This thesis is focused on catering for pupils with celiac disease in school canteens. The first part, the theoretical one, deals with the disease itself; it gives basic information about the disease, its history, main symptoms, anatomy of healthy digestive system, and the most common health problems occurring when suffering from celiac disease. At the end of the theoretical part diagnosis of the disease is described as well as suitable and unsuitable diet food for celiac and food legislation. The practical part is a survey focused on catering for pupils with celiac disease at selected elementary schools. The survey was conducted in two regions in Valašské Meziříčí and in Prague. In the final part of my thesis special gluten-free menus for schools are suggested. The pedagogical outcome of my thesis is a lecture on celiac disease which can be held at elementary school s to help pupils find out basic information about this disease.
Lifestyle teachers at selected schools

This theses focuses on lifestyle of teachers at chosen primary and high schools. The thesis deals with issue of teacher's lifestyle at primary and high schools in two parts. The first part focuses on the theory related with healthy and unhealthy lifestyle and the second one deals with the practice research. The theory focuses on these terms: the health, the determinants of health, the lifestyle, the moves-activity, the nourishment, the psychic hygiene and the lifestyle diseases. The practical part contains the research which is accomplished using questionnaire survey. The main target is getting information about teacher's lifestyle at chosen schools It was fulfilled and we discovered the teachers at schools in Vlašim, Domažlice, Prague and Bělá nad Radbuzou are trying to live healthy, even though not all of them like this lifestyle. Teachers' premedical first-aid knowledges researched at selected secondary schools

This thesis Teachers' premedical first-aid knowledges researched at selected secondary schools deals with basic rules and procedures related to the pre-medical first aid. The major problem of the research is to carry out a survey based on questionnaires which are supposed to demonstrate what the teachers' level of knowledge regarding the pre-medical first aid at various types of secondary schools is (comprehensive school, secondary medical school, secondary technical school, and secondary business school) and to compare the results. Furthermore, the thesis endeavours to elaborate appropriate solution for particular schools on the basis of the results. The theoretical part is devoted to current pre-medical first aid procedures applied to particular types of injuries. The primary method of the theoretical part is the study of scientific literature, articles published in specialized magazines, and credible Internet sources. The practical part is elaborated on the basis of the results gathered by means of questionnaires distributed among selected secondary schools. This part incorporates statistical and graphical representation of the results consequent upon the research, and in addition suggestion for solutions at selected secondary schools.
