Závěr Zákonná úprava právních úkonů vedoucích ke skončení pracovního poměru sice netrpí nějakou závažnější vadou, která by ukončení pracovněprávního vztahu činila přehnaně obtížným, ale to neznamená, že by v některých jejích částech nebylo potřeba změn. Co se obecné úpravy právních úkonů týče, nelze dle mého názoru v blízké době očekávat žádné převratné změny. V rámci postupné rekodifikace soukromého práva sice zaujímá stěžejní postavení dlouho diskutovaný nový občanský zákoník, který již má i své paragrafované znění, zkušenosti s táhnoucím se procesem přijetí trestního zákoníku nám však naznačují, že se může jednat o běh na velice dlouhou trať. Změny v úpravě zákoníku práce je v tuto chvíli velmi těžké odhadovat. Všechno se bude odvíjet od povolebního rozložení sil a schopnosti jednotlivých politických stran prosadit svá opatření v boji s celosvětovou finanční a ekonomickou krizí. Při snaze o nastartování ekonomického růstu je však velmi dobře možné, že případné změny se nejvíce odrazí v úpravě skončení pracovního poměru a institutech s ním spojenými. Zde je patrná tendence k větší flexibilitě pracovního poměru. Velmi diskutovaným tématem se znovu stala výpověď. Social services and the role of non-governmental organizations in social security

Social services are an important part of the system of social assistance. The object of social services is to help citizens in unfavourable social situations regarding their health, age, handicap or other serious grounds, if they can not solve their situation themselves. The services aim to maintain the highest possible quality and dignity for their clients. Social services provide meals, accommodation, assistance with bridging unfavourable social situations, care for people with a limited ability in the area of personal and home care, assistance with bringing up a children and also social counselling. The providing of social services was regulated by the social services act number 108/2006 Sb. This act shows actual trends that are similar in the whole Europe and brings a new approach to social services. Organization and control over this area of work belongs to the ministry of labour and social affairs in cooperation with regions and municipalities. This thesis focuses on the position of providers of social services after the adoption of the above social services act. The social services can be provided by for example organizations created by regional or local authorities, organisations such as citizen association, churches and citizens. 69 Summary The termination of the employment relationship In my thesis concerning labour law I focused on the problems of the termination of employment contracts. The theses is devided into 13 chapters. After a brief exposition of terminating an empoyment contract and a chapter about contractual freedom I concentrated on analysis of legal regulations of the termination of employment contracts. The termination of an employment contract is an unilateral legal operation, which heads towards terminating an employment contract after the expiration of the term of notice. One party of an employment contract may expresses its own will to terminate an employment contract regardless of the attitude of the other party. Written form, delivering into the hands of the other party and an exact, not interchangeable reason of discharge are substantial requisites of the notice. Legal implications of the notice shall come into force after expiration of given time, named the term of notice. The term of notice is of an equal length for both the employee and the employer and it makes at least two months. Employees shall have the right to terminate contracts for whatever reason or even without giving any reason. 91 RESUMÉ WORKING TIME, ITS PERIOD AND ALLOCATION Working time is one of basic institutes of a labour law, which influences most people mainly if these people are at the same time subjects of the employment relationship (i.e. they are employers and employees). Almost everyone will imagine the sense and content of the concept of "working hours", even if it can be a little something else for everyone, however all people coincident on substantial of meaning. Question of working hours is possible to deal with from different standpoints. These are mainly psychological, economic or sociological aspects, but the aim of the thesis is a view of working hours in terms of law. The thesis certainly cannot deal with all aspects and relations which are related to working time. The purpose of my thesis is to analyse the most important and often questionable and problematic matters of working time, which can occur in practical life in connection with it. The first passage of my work describes history of working hours. The goal of the passage is to show how difficult way the labour law institute had to undergo before it got a contemporary form. 71 Service Relationship of Security Force Members (Summary) Since 1st January 2007 the Service Relationship of Security Force Members Act No. 361/2003 Coll. has come into force. The Act arranges legal relations of The Police of the Czech Republic members, The Fire Service members, The Customs Service members, The Prison Service members, The Security Information Service members and Office for Foreign Relations and Information members. The Service Relationship of Security Force Members Act is a complex norm setting the material-law and procedural-law aspects of service relationship affairs. The act arranges not only basic institutes as creation, change and end of the service relationship, service conditions, basic duties of a security force member, income of a security force member, service duration, retirement rights, and proceedings in service relationship affairs, but also institutes traditionally adopted into previous service relationship arrangements from the Labour Code (e.g. deputizing, time measurement, its end and passing of demands in the case of the death of a security force member). Resume This diploma work is geared to one of the distinguish part of the Employment law - The employer's liability for damage and its comparison with representative countries of European Union. At first place I've chosen for comparison the representative of anglo-american law system - Great Britain. Another state that I've selected for detailed matching is Slovakia which law system is based on the mutual basis of Czechoslovakia state. Other Member States of EU are touch on, except the Chapter about liability for industrial injury and professional diseases. In this chapter there is a view of more European states, with some glance into the countries outside EU and complete construction of damages this specific harms on health for their own importance. In constituent chapters I concentrate on categorization of the responsibility in Employment law as sub-category of Liability, its evolution with focus on the protective elements of employment legislation and on interpretation of this therm as one of the fundamental institute of law.
