Social care for homeless people

This bachelor's essay deals about homelessness, exclusion out of society and also is about welfare working. This work is divided in to three part. First part speaks about character of homelessness, forms, causes and incidences, life style people on the street and generaly about people in need. The last chapter of second part is whole about welfare working in the Word and in Our country. Third part is an empiricical section and one of the main aim is: found rul sof social exclusion and defective human needs of homeless people.
Attitude of social excluded Roma in Kolín towards education

The subject of the following thesis creates a part of Roma education area. Roma education is considered to be crucial in the frame of social integration processes. Integration of Roma is embarrassed by a phenomenon which is called social exclusion. Social exclusion is defined as a limited access to the social, cultural and economical sources in society. Social exclusion is a high risk factor for both the excluded individuals and families and society as a whole. Social exclusion escalates a social conflicts. Education is perceived being a remedy for a social exclusion if only Roma people accept the value of education as being valid. Otherwise the integration strategies implemented in education system do not produce any results. Empirical part of the bachelor degrese thesis presents the Roma attitudes towards education. The research informants were sorted out of social excluded inhabitants who live in Zengrova block of flats in Kolín. This area is characterized by a higher concentration of Roma people. The attitudes towards education predict the position of an individual in a social structure.
Social work with deliquent individuals

Social work is an autonomous branch, which is governed by its own theory and practice, but in many areas, intertwined with other disciplines. It can be understood only by the knowledge of social and cultural context of the company. Alone in the field of social work teams provide a multi-disciplinary professional staff. In the Czech Republic during the last two decades, a revival of interest in this issue, because in communist Czechoslovakia, this area was neither recognized nor supported. In this work, I focused on the clarification of the basic theoretical aspects of social work with emphasis on work with delinquent children and adolescents in the Czech Republic, because, as is clear from the statistics of the Ministry of Interior, the proportion of children and young people perpetrating crime continues to grow.

Praktická část práce analyzuje realizaci předběžného opatření a ústavní výchovy v konkrétním zařízení, kterým je Dětský diagnostický ústav, základní škola a školní jídelna na Praze 4.
Drug prevention at upper elementary school

This bachelor thesi s deals with drug prevention at upper primary schools. In the theoretical part it focuses on basic information associated with drug prevention. Further it mentions general methods, solutions and ways of prevention, and also the system of prevention used in schools. The practical part describes the role that teachers have in the prevention system. The research was realized at three schools in the Pribram region. Teachers from upper primary schools took part in the research. The method of questionnaires enabled monitoring of the teachers' awareness, knowledge and activities in the field of drug prevention. From the acquired data it was deduced how much the teachers are involved in drug prevention.
