Design concept three wheel small utility vehicle
Ambrož, Petr ; Píštěk, Václav (referee) ; Rasch, František (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with design concept of three wheel small utility vehicle with curb weight 300kg. At the beginning is short description of some similar vehicles. Analyses of used concepts and descriptions of constructions parts have preceded their choice. Then is created 3D model in PRO Engineer and calculations of driving output and stress analyses are based on it. In design concept is accent putted on ergonomics, look, practical utilization and manufacturability.
Chassis of three-wheel electromobile
Švec, Jan ; Ramík, Pavel (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
The target of this thesis was to design conception of electric three-wheeler. The first chapter compares city cars and its technical data. The second chapter is focused on conception of vehicle and in the third chapter are described construction groups of vehicle. Next is here solution of stability and front suspension.
Piston group of a one-cylinder gasoline engine
Lux, Josef ; Novotný, Pavel (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
This thesis deals with a piston set of the internal combustion engine. The main goal is to perform strength check analysis of the internal combustion engine piston set using analytical methods of elasticity and strength. Cultivator PF-62 was chosen to determine the basic parameters of the crankshaft mechanism and plot the force distribution. Results of the strength check analysis are evaluated in the final part of this thesis.
MEB modular platform for electric cars
Tkach, Svitlana ; Kaplan, Zdeněk (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the possibilities of the newly developed modular electric drive matrix MEB of the Volkswagen Group. The aim was to create a research study about technical parameters of the platform and the possibilities of its use for various categories of vehicles not only within the Volkswagen Group, but also the offer to competing manufacturers. In conclusion of the bachelor’s thesis is formulated the impact of technologies, offered by the modular electric drive matrix, on the development and production of electric vehicles and the related possibility of a reversal in the expansion of electric drive.
Modification of a four cylinder diesel engine to a single cylinder test engine
Mátyás, Attila ; Kaplan, Zdeněk (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
This thesis deals with modification of an existing four-cylinder diesel engine to a singlecylinder research engine. The work is divided into four main parts. The first part is theoretical, briefly describes research engines, their individual types and provides an overview of their functions. The second part of the work includes the modification of a four-cylinder diesel engine to a single-cylinder research engine, focusing mainly on balancing inertia forces. The third, most extensive chapter contains the structural analysis of the crankshaft. The last part contains the design of a torsional coupling, which ensures the connection of the engine with the dynamometer.
Crank mechanism of a gas V-sixteen engine
Čep, David ; Novotný, Pavel (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
Diploma thesis is trying to analyze crank mechanism of a gas V-sixteen engine. Kinematics and balance crank mechanism are analyzed, dynamic model parameters are dermined, natural frequency of the torsional system are calculated, coupling parameters are designed and torsional problem with attached electric generator is analyzed.
Powertrain of in-line six-cylinder diesel engine
Barvík, Rostislav ; Rauscher, Jaroslav (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
Indicator diagram is importat for proposal motor. From this diagram we are able to determine maximum cylinder pressure. By the help of hereof pressure and registered funds, resulting from engaged parameter (boring, lift…) are propose fundamental proportions piston group and piston rod. A further we make fort checks piston rod.
Four cylinder diesel engine for commercial vehicles
Nikolaychuk, Yaroslav ; Kaplan, Zdeněk (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
The diploma thesis focuses on the design of the crankshaft for a four-cylinder diesel engine for commercial vehicles, the main task of this work are the design configuration of the crankshaft balance inertia forces and torques at the crank mechanism, drawing documentation crankshaft design strength check considering torsional vibration.
Design of single-cylinder diesel engine
Němec, Jan ; Ramík, Pavel (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
This thesis deals with the construction of the whole combustion engine, the crankshaft design, the piston and the piston rod. It also outlines the central lubrication, the cooling, the injection pump, the movable pump and the gear pump as well as fuel filtering, injection, engine timimg, etc. The four-cycle engine has four working cycles. During the first cycle the "clean" air is drawn and the piston moves from the bottom centre to the top centre and it comes to compression in the cylinder thanks to the adjusting of the advance and the fuel is injected into the cylinder. As the piston moves rapidly to the top centre, the pressure and the temperature increase so much that the fuel ignites. The pressure is about 26 atm (2.634Mpa) and the temperature is about 600°C. The fuel burns ideally in spherical wave fronts. The fuel is injected under high pressure as aerosol generates. As the fuel expands, the volume increases and the piston moves to the bottom centre. And it is its only working cycle. The piston moves from the bottom centre to the top centre and the exhaust valve opens through which the hot gases of combustion leave - and everything repeats. The design of the particular components is shown in the animations. Modelling and simulations were produced using CAD system. Everything is supported with calculations.
Electric motors for support of turbochargers
Kytner, Václav ; Kučera, Pavel (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
The bachelor´s thesis deals with turbocharging of combustion engines. In particular the characteristic of turbochargers and superchargers assisted by electric motors are described. According to novelty of these concepts, the author endeavours to adumbrate the main issues connected to subject from available sources and he outlines a possible application of these new technologies in future.
