Genetic Algorithms and Scheduling
Škrabal, Ondřej ; Popela, Pavel (referee) ; Roupec, Jan (advisor)
This work deals with scheduling problem in particular plastic production service. The solution is based on heuristic algorithms, programming languages C + +, C # and is built on the .NET framework and LINQ to XML. It provides the users with comparisons of the heuristic approach with genetic algorithms applied to production problem. All methods results are compared in relation to hand-arranged plans.
Detection of facial expression
Kozák, Roman ; Krček, Petr (referee) ; Roupec, Jan (advisor)
This master‘s thesis deals with the design and implementation of computer application for facial expression recognition. The first section describes the image processing, especially algorithms used in other parts of this thesis. The next section describes methods used for face detection, particularly the Viola-Jones detector. This is followed by a brief description of the basic facial expressions recognized by the application. The last two sections are dedicated to the design and implementation of the facial expression recognition algorithms and to the evaluation of the results.
Java decompiler
Žamberský, Zdeněk ; Heriban, Pavel (referee) ; Roupec, Jan (advisor)
The goal was to create decompiler for Java programing language. Decompiler should reconstruct original Java source code from class files, representing its compiled form. First part of thesis focuses on Java langage, its compilation and structure of class file. Then Java Virtual Machine and its instruction set is discussed. After that thesis focuses on decompilation and algoritms designed and used for decompiler realization. Examples of decompiled code are presented.
Computer games design using XNA technology
Rojíček, Vojtěch ; Heriban, Pavel (referee) ; Roupec, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to inform about history and theory of game industry and afterwards develop sample games for computer platform using XNA technology. It will be possible to download these games for free from the webpage of Institute of Automation and Computer Science.
Graphical User Interfaces for Mobile Devices
Vala, Michal ; Roupec, Jan (referee) ; Poliščuk, Radek (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis is focused on graphical user interfaces for mobile devices. It shows the history of development of graphical interfaces, mobile devices and platforms. In the next part it describes main mobile platforms of modern-day. In the last part it shows development for iOS and multiplatform technology PhoneGap.
Heuristic algorithms in optimization
Vector graphic editor
Bartoněk, Jan ; Heriban, Pavel (referee) ; Roupec, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to design a simple, yet powerful vector graphics editor. The research part of the thesis deals with the issue of computer graphics, its history, the division, and its basics concepts. Furthermore, this section discusses raster and vector graphics and last but not least, it lists and describes the most popular vector graphics editors. The vector graphics editor itself is programmed in Python using the PyQt5 library. Finally, the conclusion reviews and evaluates the work and its results.
Processing the Output from the GPS Device in the Form of Training Diary
Zháňal, Jan ; Krček, Petr (referee) ; Roupec, Jan (advisor)
The Diploma Thesis deals with the processing of the output from a GPS position logger. The recorded file will then become main part of application Training diary. There can be found evaluation of GPS as a system as well as a description of used instruments in the text. Part deals with the use of modern environment Google Maps API. The program is described at the end of work and is attached on a CD.
Application server for Hybrid Broadcast Broadband TV
Loveček, Vladimír ; Roupec, Jan (referee) ; Poliščuk, Radek (advisor)
This diploma thesis focuses on the additional services transmitted in conjunction with television broadcast. The first part presents the background research in the evolution of these technologies. In the second part the step-by-step creation of a sample application based on the latest HbbTV platform is dealt with. Finally, the described application demonstrates the streaming possibilities of audiovisual content on the TV screen.
Databases Versioning
Jindra, Petr ; Šeda, Miloš (referee) ; Roupec, Jan (advisor)
This diploma thesis is about versioning of databases. Firsts chapters are shortly describing the biggest problems what will need to solve. Thr second part refers to choosen database systems and introcution to SQL language. The last unit describes the development of program solving sketched problems.
