Impact of Human Factor on Industrial Furnace Safety
Mukhametzianova, Leisan ; Sinay, Juraj (referee) ; Dohnal, Mirko (referee) ; Kotek, Luboš (advisor)
The presented doctoral thesis is focused on assessment of human factor impact on safety of industrial furnaces. Industrial furnaces are classified as machinery and belong to a group of industrial thermal equipment. The operation of industrial furnaces is burdened with the risks which the manufacturers and the furnace operators realize. The first part of the thesis presents an analysis of the current situation of legislation and scientific knowledges in the field of assessment of human factor impact on safety of industrial furnaces. In this part of the thesis the issue of human factor in other industrial branches: chemical industry, aviation and nuclear industry is also described. On the basis of conducted research the main aim of the thesis was established: preparation of a methodology for assessment of human factor impact on safety of industrial furnaces. Secondary targets were also listed. The second part deals with the assessment of risks connected with the operation of industrial furnaces and the assessment of human factor impact on safety of industrial furnaces. The furnace safety requirements, the process of furnaces risk assessment, the methods used for risk assessment and problems connected with the risk assessment are described. This part of the thesis explains the concept of human factor, presents a classification and description of the methods used for human reliability assessment, as well as the factors influencing the reliability of the operator. The third part of the thesis contains a proposed methodology for assessment of human factor impact on safety of industrial furnaces. Within the methodology performance shaping factors are stated, qualitative and quantitative assessment of human factor impact on safety of industrial furnaces is made and the system integration of the knowledges into the developed methodology is proposed – qualitative model for improvement of system state. The methodology is further verified on a real equipment – a hardening furnace.
Fire safety as part of a management system
Václavek, Jan ; Mukhametzianova, Leisan (referee) ; Kotek, Luboš (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis concerns about fire protection and it's integration to the management system of industrial company. In the first part of it are said terms and legislative requirements connected with fire protection for industrial companies. The second part contains designed system for integration fire protection requirements to the management system of industrial company. In the third part of this thesis is processed the fire protection analysis of industrial company. Last part contains recommendations for the further development of fire protection.
Environmental Impact Assessment for Powder Coating Technology
Havlíček, Lukáš ; Mukhametzianova, Leisan (referee) ; Krbalová, Maria (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused on evaluating an environmental impact of using LCA methodology. LCA is a methodology of powder varnishing. The first part of the thesis is concerned with technologies modifying metal surfaces. An analysis of LCA technology was executed and a technological process was described. As a part of theoretical part, a description of available methods evaluating environmental impact was made. According to description the LCA methodology was chosen. In practical part of the thesis an analysis of material and energetic inputs of each process was made.
Risk analysis of crane operation
Attasek, Ondřej ; Mukhametzianova, Leisan (referee) ; Kotek, Luboš (advisor)
The topic of this master's thesis is focused on the area of safety in lifting technology. Specifically, to prevent mistakes during bridge crane operations and to increase reliability of the human factor. The thesis summarizes the most important legislative regulations for crane operators, including the requirements for operation. Furthermore, there are analysis of bridge crane accidents including data about number of occupational accidents. Other part of the thesis deals with analysis HTA, human HAZOP, BOMECH and FMEA. Conclusions are set based on these analyzes and preventive measures are suggested.
Methods of risk identification in coating plant
Buriánková, Alena ; Mukhametzianova, Leisan (referee) ; Kotek, Luboš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is about methods which could be used for identifying risks in paint shop. The first part deals with process of risk management and descriptions of its phases. The second part is detailed description of selected methods. Descriptions include all characteristics, procedure and fields of applications. The security checks and risk identifications in paint shop with using FMEA process are in the last part.
Evaluation of cutting fluids aerosol contamination of working environment during metal turning
Svoboda, Svetozár ; Mukhametzianova, Leisan (referee) ; Kotek, Luboš (advisor)
The thesis deals with the contamination of the workspace with a liquid aerosol, which is generated by scattering and evaporation of the cooling fluid. Cooling fluid are primarily intended to lubricate, cool and clean the tool and the workpiece, but the unwanted side effect is the formation of a liquid aerosol that holds in the air of the workspace. In such a contaminated work environment, the operator is exposed to a certain dose of a liquid aerosol that causes dermatological and respiratory problems. The topic of the thesis was to find out the number of particles of liquid aerosol that arises under varying working conditions and its dispersion in space. This amount was determined by image analysis using a high-speed camera.
Ergonomic audit at university
Kazarian, Anna ; Mukhametzianova, Leisan (referee) ; Kotek, Luboš (advisor)
This thesis deals with ergonomic audit of the workspace and working conditions of a university. First, factors affecting students and researchers are analyzed, with focus on their effects on physical and mental health. Attention is mainly given to the effects of thermal and moisture parameter of air, carbon dioxide concentration, lighting and classroom and office equipment. Level of adaptation of the workspace to the needs of disabled students and faculty is also considered. In the practical part of the thesis, the proposed audit is carried out at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Brno University of Technology. Measurements of ergonomic parameters were performed in selected rooms. Based on their results, shortcomings were identified and corrective measures were proposed.
Error minimisation in the process of the machining with regard to the operator
Peňák, Martin ; Mukhametzianova, Leisan (referee) ; Kotek, Luboš (advisor)
This thesis deals with analysis of measurement system capability in the production of rotary components from the viewpoint of operator error reduction and reliability of human factors. The aim is to carry out a literature review on the topic and then to analyze the current system in the company ZNOJEMSKÉ STROJÍRNY, s.r.o. Based on the obtained data suggest appropriate corrective arrangements to improve the current situation.
Identification and assessment of errors in the assembly line of the pneumatic valves
Kadilák, Tomáš ; Mukhametzianova, Leisan (referee) ; Kotek, Luboš (advisor)
This thesis is focused on identification and evaluation of errors during pneumatic valve assembly. Theoretical part describes tools used: quality gate, flow chart, Pareto diagram and FMEA analysis. Within practical part the current assembly process is analyzed with current errors and besides evaluation, the improvement priorities and ways to accomplish these improvements in an actual company are defined. If the company chooses to take the opportunity to implement these improvements, thesis also monitors the results and reaction to the change of the analyzed process to a certain point.
