Microbiological hazards in HVAC systems
Musil, Zdeněk ; Charvát, Pavel (referee) ; Kolbábek, Antonín (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with microbiological hazards in HVAC systems, especially in air condition systems. There is noted the basic information from related fields. The same microbiological hazards are divided in health risk and in microbiological corrosion. In the last part of this thesis are mentioned possibilities of their elimination and recommendation for prefiguring of them.
Measurement of gas flow rates
Hniličková, Veronika ; Charvát, Pavel (referee) ; Štětina, Josef (advisor)
This bachelors thesis is about options in a gas volume measurement, it's division and engineering solution of selected types of a gas volume indicators. A thesis is about analysis of measurement methods too. Finally I compare a gas volume measuring indicators, it's usage and functionality in working practicles.
Temperature sensors
Hlatký, Pavel ; Charvát, Pavel (referee) ; Štětina, Josef (advisor)
This work deals with questions of temperature sensors. Definition of the fundamental terms and separation of temperature sensors with electrical measured variable output according to physical principle is included. Location of technical and price optimal indoors temperature sensors are executed in the other part of bachelor’s thesis. During making this piece were used literature of temperature sensors and the internet sources.
Analysis of different means of heat recovery in ventilation
Dvouletý, Tomáš ; Krejčí, Vladimír (referee) ; Charvát, Pavel (advisor)
Bachelor´S thesis contains summary and expplanation of basic ideas related with topic of analysis of different means of heat recovery in ventilation like efficiency, economy of using atc. Main part of the work is dividing varied ways of heat recovery based on kind of used heat exchanger. There are description of principle of heat transfer with illustrative pictures including some other informations related to each heat exchanger. After that there is comparation of heat exchangers based on efficiency, enthalpy transfer capability and safety. This part also includes summary of advantages and disadvantages. Finaly there are brief report of market with heat exchangers in Czech republic and some others ways how to use gained heat.
Radiating shield for sensor outdoor temperature
Janáček, Adam ; Charvát, Pavel (referee) ; Štětina, Josef (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis mentions methods for outside temperature measurement; each of this method is briefly described. Principles of outside temperature measurement, regarding placing of the temperature sensor, are shown. Importance of use of radiation shield for more precise measurement is pointed out. Radiation shield’s function and construction of aspirated and self-aspirated shield, as well as their main advantages and disadvantages are described. Market research then shows radiation shields made by their main manufacturers, each shield is briefly described. Two radiation shields, aspirated and self-aspirated, are designed, with respect to simple construction and knowledge gained during market research
Solar production of electricity
Špiláček, Michal ; Hejčík, Jiří (referee) ; Charvát, Pavel (advisor)
In this bachelor’s thesis are mentioned basic methods how to convert solar radiation into electric energy. Shortly introducing the origin of solar radiation and its subsequent lightening of the Earth surface. Then is here the history of photovoltaic and principle of function of photovoltaic cells. In next chapters are mentioned a variety of cells, construction of photovoltaic panels and methods, how to increase their productivity. In the following chapters are mentioned basic thermal cycles used for indirect conversion of solar radiation into electric energy, their usage in various applications. At last, here are mentioned ways of using the gained electric energy both from direct and indirect conversion.
Calibration of temperature sensors
Záboj, Jakub ; Charvát, Pavel (referee) ; Štětina, Josef (advisor)
How the change of temperature works on physical properties of substance and materials is described in this bachelor’s thesis. Historical development of thermometers and measuring of temperature that goes to the standard temperature scale. There is summary of today's ther-mometers and their detailed descriptions. Select calibrators follow as an instrument for check and calibration temperature sensors (thermome-ters). For example there is described calibration of thermocouple, where we put at their self - characteristics of thermocouple. The most frequen-cies mistakes during calibration are summered there and also description between different calibrations methods finally.
Fotovoltaics systems for block of flats
Krška, Lukáš ; Charvát, Pavel (referee) ; Hejčík, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this work is identification with photovoltaic systems for a panel building and finding a solution how to apply it. The work deals with history of photovoltaics, focuses on natural conditions in the Czech Republic and a briefly describes particular components which photovoltaic system consists of. The panel building is divided into parts were is possible to use the system and further is in detail described the Evalon-Solar product which is optimal to use on flat roofs of panel buildings.
Alternative fuel for internal combustion engines for commercial vehicles
Snášel, Pavel ; Charvát, Pavel (referee) ; Štětina, Josef (advisor)
The liquid petroleum fuels, gasoline and diesel, have gradually enforced during the development of thermal machines. Because these fuels are non-renewable and their usage is joined with many ecological and economical problems, we face the task how to replace these dominating fuels. The purpose of this thesis is to summarize and compare the properties of alternative fuels, especially their heating value, and sketch the supposed progress of their usage in transportation.
Ventilation of low-energy houses
Kubisz, Pavel ; Fišer, Jan (referee) ; Charvát, Pavel (advisor)
Dissertation deals with division and description progressive trends of ventilation of low-energy houses. Forasmuch as ventilation is participant in total heat consumption, It is here practical example how total heat consumption depend on ventilation heat consumption and heat consumption by construction. At the close is showed when is good, or bad, to use ventilation with recuperation.
