Active employment policy in the selected region after establishment of the independent Czech Republic

The diploma thesis entitled "Active Employment Policy in the Selected Region after Establishment of the Independent Czech Republic" is divided into several thematic parts, which gradually introduce the issues of an active employment policy. The introductory parts of the diploma thesis deal with the general term "unemployment", the consequences of unemployment, and the gradual development of government intervention for unemployed people.
Among the essential components of the diploma thesis are the legislative and institutional solutions for unemployment, together with the characteristics of individual instruments of the active employment policy, which have gradually developed over time with regard to their necessity in the solving of unemployment issues. The thesis gives a very detailed description of the use of instruments of the active employment policy in the Prague region, which is specific from this perspective in comparison with the other regions of the Czech Republic. The most frequent problems connected with the application of particular instruments of the active employment policy are described, together with suggestions for possible improvements to their use and channelling.

Monopoly in Terms of the Czech Economy

This thesis deals with monopolies and companies in a dominant position in the Czech economy. The theoretical part explains the market, its functioning and laws, characterizes the perfect and imperfect competition; the individual structures of imperfect competition are analyzed more specifically. The biggest part is dedicated to the characteristics of the monopoly and regulation of the monopolies. The practical part focuses on analysis of current situation on the Czech market; it marks the companies, which could be considered as monopolies. The work examines the position of individual companies on the market, analyzes the reasons for their dominant market position, determines, what type of monopoly the individual companies belong to, and answers the question of harmfulness of these monopolies. Then the thesis presents a survey, which expresses the opinion of the Czech population on the issue of monopoly.

Financial Analysis of a Company

The objective of this Bachelor thesis is to determine financial situation of company Dřevo Černý Vůl, s.r.o.. This thesis is divided to theoretical and practical part.
The basic principles about processing of financial analysis are defined and in the theoretical part, also financial statements are being explained in this part. Indicators described in this part are later applied to selected (chosen) company. Financial situation of this company is shown in this part based on calculations and development of this firm during last four years. 2009 is the starting point of this analysis, when the company Dřevo Černý Vůl, s.r.o. has started its business.
Practical part is more focused on introduction of the company itself. Subsequently it deals with the processing of financial analysis for a selected (chosen) company Dřevo Černý Vůl, s.r.o. for the time period 2009 to 2012. There is also processed secondary objective of assessing the benefits of purchasing their own server or renting one from company SuperNetwork, s.r.o.
Partial results are interpreted and summarized in conclusion of this thesis.

Oligopolistic Competition in Selected Market Segment

Telecom market in the current Czech Republic is one of the worlds decisive but also the most profitable sectors of globalized economies. The mobile communications market in the Czech Republic now hosts many operators, however its development determine only three network operators and one market regulator, the Czech Telecommunication Office. Major providers of mobile telephone services in the Czech Republic are TMobile, O2 and Vodafone (94% market share in the Czech Republic). Less important place in the market occupy virtual operators whose market power is relatively small and they are unable to be considerably ahead in terms of oligopolistic competition on the domestic market. Those matters correspond to the model of an oligopolistic market with dominant firm and competitive fringe. In the Czech Republic this competitive fringe consists of two powerful companies and a large group of virtual operators, who, however, make up only 6% of the market. Said (oligopolistic) structure of the mobile communications market in the Czech market thus appears to be stable over time; the position of dominant firm TMobile may possibly be replaced by O2 in the long term.

The Development of the Czech Mobile Phone Operators Market

Bachelor thesis deal with the beginning and development of the market of mobile operators after 1990.
The main part of the Bachelor's thesis is comparison of the development of prices and the types of services offered by different operators with regard to the gradual filling of the market other new businesses in the branch.
The second part presents to the appreciation of this mobile operator in terms of their dominance in the market with an intention to formulating objectively substantiated evidence, whether operators will not break the economic competition.
In the accompanying charts and tables, work compares the prices of tariff in each of the time periods for the operators and provides their comparison between them.

The Importance and Impact of the Antimonopoly Office in the Czech Republic in Area of Procurements

This bachelor thesis deals with the importance and impact of the Antimonopoly Office in areas of the public procurement. The theoretical part firstly describes the activities of the Office for the Protection of Competition. History of the Office, its competence and structure is approached there. Furthermore, individual issues, which the Office for the Protection of Competition does, are mentioned. In the main part, there is a closer description of the Public procurement and its legal regulations. Moreover, a separate chapter is a division of the Public procurement, further explanation of the term the contracting authority, the principles which have to be abided for the award of the Public procurement and the types of tender procedure. The analytical part concentrates on the development of agenda of the Antimonopoly Office in areas of the public procurement in the years 2010 to 2014. Part of this chapter states specific cases of the misconduct investigated by the Antimonopoly Office.

National debt of the Czech republic in comparison with selected EU countries

This Bachelor thesis is about national debt of the Czech Republic and its comparison with debt of chosen states of the European Union. In the theoretical part the thesis describe national debt and themes close to national debt, like budgetary system, public and national budget and fiscal imbalance. There is also some basic information about the European Union. State debt of the Czech Republic is compared with state debt of six chosen states of the European Union. In this part is also compared the insolvency of the Czech Republic and chosen states of the European Union. Main part, the practical part, deals with Czech Republic's inhabitants' awareness about the national debt. The result, given by questionnaire, is also a part of the practical part.

Progress of unemployment in district of the city Most

The subject of this bachelors thesis The progress of unemployment in district of the city Most is the analysis of long-term unemployment in Most country and the determination of its cause. This work is oriented on this region, because the high level of unemployment is a serious problem there for many years. The theoretical part of this thesis is concentrated on the unemployment in its own and on the terms which are associated with it. The practical part is divided into two parts. The first one is aimed to the Most region and should completely analyse the development of unemployment between the years 2005 and 2015 and compare it with development of unemployment in the Czech republic. The second part contains evaluation of the survey. The goal of this survey was to find out the causes of unemployment of those, who are registered by labour office in city Most and to suggest changes and possible steps to improvement of the current conditions on the labour market.

National Debt of the Czech Republic compared with selected states of the European Union

This work is focused on the general issue of sovereign debt and consequently on the comparison between the various European Union countries and the Czech Republic.
The first part deals with the theory of sovereign debt, as general government debt has been incurred and what resources the government has to deal with sovereign debt. There are also described emit forms of sovereign debt in the Czech Republic and the total debt in this country.
Own research in the form of a questionnaire survey is presented in the secod part of this work, which includes both the actual exploration and evaluation. Constitutive part also compared the actual states of the European Union to the Czech Republic according to individual criteria.

The development of unemployment in Most region

This paper analyzes situation in Most in terms of unemployment. In the first part, it describes ethnical strukture of population as well as it gives an overlook of whole city of Most. It describes two biggest employers of the region from the view of influencing the unemployment rate. Practical part tries to define the causes of unemployment through the opinion of its own inhabitants. As well it tries to give some possible solutions to solve this bad situation.
