Štěpánek, Petr ; Girgle, František ; Daněk, Petr ; Růžičková, Jana
This paper is intended to experts who work on the expert opinion for faults and breakdowns of lightweight roof load bearing structures. Changes of loading standards during the time play a fundamental role by redesigning of existing roof structures, especially of the lightweight structures. Significant differences are shown among the ČSN 730035 – 86, revise ČSN 730035 and ČSN EN 1991 in climatic loading (snow, wind). If any interventions into lightweight roof structures are planned it is necessary to pay attention to reliability of a load bearing structure. This paper describes some possibilities how to solve this problem.
Gender aspects in social work with the Romany womens
RŮŽIČKOVÁ, Jana
In the case of Gypsy women is necessary to realize that they are actually discriminated twice. The first discrimination is in term of members of the Gypsy minority, the other in term of gender. The gender is not reflected in social work. Therefore, I consider this topic being current. What is discussed a lot this is an inclusion of the Gypsy minority and the gender equality. The theoretical part deals with general gender and gender in social work with the Gypsy community. Furthermore, it defines the position of Gypsy women in the family and in the society. For qualitative research, I chose a narrative interview technique, which is used to obtain information about collective biographical and historical context of the investigated event, through spontaneous narrative of informant, which is only cautiously led by researcher. Quality data collected interview were elaborated by using coding. There were two Gypsy women with different socio-economic status as a basic research group. Additional file was formed by a social worker and a social worker working with the Gypsy minority. The aim of this thesis was to analyze the gender dimension in social work with Roma woman. The research showed that the situation of Gypsy women in the family positively changes. It starts becoming a creature that is not as inferior and secondarily as a Gypsy man. Strict rules for life in the Roma family ease gradually. Women are more involved in decision-making within the family and they can decide about their rights. However, one aspect of gender remains largely the fact that Gypsy women still struggle with low levels of education and skills. This is especially reflected when these women ask for a job. Frequent failures are primarily caused by the refusal by employers because of prejudice and long-term unemployment which cause loss of motivation or work habits. Gypsy women feel negative and contemptuous behavior towards their ethnicity, whether in a job search or by state institutions, such as when they apply for social benefits. Social work approaches to Gypsy clients only in terms of ethnic minorities. However, the approach in terms of gender is neglected. The contribution of this work is to contribute to the understanding of the overall situation of Gypsy women and to the obstacles which avoid their emancipation. Results could contribute to the understanding of social work with Gypsy women and Gypsy minority in general. It can be additionally used for the evaluation of an approach of social work with Gypsy women.

The Master's thesis "Performance management" is focused on performance of employees in health care system. The main incentive for a writing this Master's thesis was a growing dissatisfaction of employees. Analysis of the thesis is focused on performance management system, which is largely difficult to determinate in health care. For the analysis results to be relevant, it is supplemented with a survey among employees which has confirmed that the system has its flaws, especially in mutual communication between managers and their subordinates. One of the strengths of the system can be the fact that the company is trying to overcome the rigid human resources management system, which still dominates in the contemporary health sector.

The theoretical part draws knowledge from an available literature, web sites, annual reports of medical organizations and legal regulations. In the second part, an independent research study was conducted, based on a detailed analysis of information collected by means of questioners and interviews. In total, data from 69 wheelchair disabled persons all over the Czech Republic were analyzed. School advantage of Romany children attending tutoring program in SaSM - DDM ČB and their awareness of risk behavior
RŮŽIČKOVÁ, Jana
The Bachelor Thesis School results of Romany children attending a tutorial programme in the SaSM - DDM ČB and their awareness of risky behaviour responses to a frequently discussed topic of low education and qualification level in Romany communities and also to the high rate of risk behaviour occurrence particularly among Romany children and young people living in socially excluded locations. In the theoretical part I deal with the issues of education of Romany people including out-of-school education, then the specifics of a Romany family as the primary socializing factor. I specify selected forms of risky behaviour most frequently faced by the children. The Bachelor Thesis was aimed at describing the influence of the tutorial programme provided by the SaSM - DDM ČB on school results of Romany children and on their awareness of risky behaviour. The research results show that the tutorial programme only makes sense with regard to the school results if it is provided on long-term basis. However it has permanent influence on improvement of respondent?s self confidence, thanks to which the children are not afraid of putting their hands up in class and they also feel more successful. The Centre is also involved in the field of primary prevention of risky behaviour. The staff strives for teaching the respondents to use their free time in active and meaningful manners. The SaSM - DDM ČB offers an alternative to spending free time in risky manners. Apart from the research results and setting the research hypotheses this Thesis contributes to pointing out the importance of non-governmental non-profit organizations that help Romany children in the field of risky behaviour prevention and out-of-school education.
Grain boundaries in Ni3Ga as paths of rapid diffusion
Čermák, Jiří ; Růžičková, Jana ; Konecny, M. ; Ipser, H.
Grain boundary diffusivity P (P is a triple product of diffusion coefficient in grain boundary D, grain boundary width .delta. and segregation coefficient s) of nickel was measured by serial sectioning and residual activity methods in temperature interval 973-1373 K. Measurements are compared with our previous results on Ni grain boundary diffusivity in Ni3Al. It was obtained that the values of P for nickel in Ni3Ga are slightly higher than those for nickel in Ni3Al. The observed relation between Ps was interpreted by different affinity of diffusing Ni to different components X in the two Ni3X alloys.
