The role of optical function and its influence to the posture
Terčová, Simona ; Oplatková, Lenka (advisor) ; Veselý, Viktor (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with the optical function as one of the multisensory modalities in postural control. The theoretical part concerns the anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology of the visual system and their relationship to postural functions. It also includes a further indefinite weakening of neurophysiological principles, influencing other sensory perceptions and motor manifestations with the visually impaired, who belong to group with reduced postural control. The work describes the examination methods and training options for visual perception and its impact on postural control. These applications are applied in the practical sections in the case report of visually impaired patients, in whom the influence of the individual examination unit on postural function was investigated. For the assessment were used the Rehawalk pressure platform and the clinical test of dynamic postural stability Star-Excoursion Balance Test.
Utilization of biofeedback sensors for the activation of breathing and postural function of diaphragm in patients with chronic low-back pain
Macigová, Lucie ; Oplatková, Lenka (advisor) ; Bitnar, Petr (referee)
This thesis is focusing on objectifying the postural function of diaphragm with a biofeedback sensor in patients with low back pain (LBP). The theoretical part provides an overview of known facts about the postural function of the abdominal muscles and diaphragm and the connection between their activation and the change in intra-abdominal pressure and the origin of LBP. The thesis gives specifics of LBP, its etiology and possible methods of classification of non-specific LBP, as well as the methods of evaluating subjective disability. Other methods of objectifying postural functions other than the one used in this thesis are mentioned briefly. Methodology: In the experimental part, we used a capacitive force sensor to test 31 patients with non-specific chronic LBP (aver. age 25.25, SD ± 4.66, aver. height 176.77 cm, SD ± 9.97, aver. weight 77.93 kg, SD ±18.40) in 3 posturally different seated scenarios - resting breathing, with added external load when the subjects held a dumbbell of 20 % of their body weight) and with maximum voluntary increase in intra-abdominal pressure (the diaphragm test). The sensor position was on lumbar triangle and in the groin area. Oswestry Questionaire v2.1a was used to evaluate subjective disability. Results: An independent t-test analysis showes increase in the...
Kinematic analysis of patients with femoroacetabular impingement syndrom
Dinda, Ondřej ; Valouchová, Petra (advisor) ; Oplatková, Lenka (referee)
Bibliographic identification DINDA, Ondřej. Kinematic analysis of patients wiht femoroacetabular impingement syndrome. Prague: Charles University, 2nd Faculty of medicine, Department of Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine, 2017. 82 pages. Supervisor: Mgr. Petra Valouchová, Ph.D. Abstract The purpose of this master thesis was to find out, if there are objective changes in biomechanics of the gait and upstairs gait by objectives with diagnosed femoroacetabular impingement syndrome and by healthy objectives. The data were acquired using kinematic analysis Qualisys and processed using software Qualisys track manager and Visual3D. The subject of research was the range of motion in hip joint in frontal and sagittal plane, than the movement of pelvis in frontal plane, movement of pelvis against thorax in transversal plane and deviation of the axis of spine in frontal plane. These parameters were documented using angular deviation of the segments, deviation of the segments in the plane or shifting of the markers in coordinate system. The conclusions were than statistically evaluated. There were 20 objects with diagnosed femoroacetabular impingement syndrome in the age from 23 to 47 years of age included in the study. In the gait research, a significant difference in angular deviation of the pelvis against thorax in...
Locomat and its use in patients with the spinal cord injuries
Krulík, Jan ; Oplatková, Lenka (advisor) ; Spáčilová, L. (referee)
The improve of the care of patients attend with coming of modern technologies and developments of the medicine science. Concrete instance is Lokomat System, that have risen by multidisciplinary cooperation of a specialists from technical and medical branches. In this thesis will be in detail described not only Lokomat but also advantages and disadvantages of its use to patients and medical personnel. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
The influence of spinal patients regular training in Locomat System on chosentime and space parametres of their walk
Strnadová, Helena ; Oplatková, Lenka (advisor) ; Strapková, Zuzana (referee)
Diploma thesis "Influence of regular training of spinal cord patients in Lokomat system on particular spatio-temporal parameters of their walk." is a theoretical-empirical case report. Theoretical part deals with the neuroanatomy of the spinal cord, control, analysis and possibilities of check up of physiological walk. This part is concluded by the summary of entries about the Lokomat system, its basic technical equipment, advantages / disadvantages, indications/ contra-indications of its use in practice. The empirical part deals with the examination of the influence of the training in Lokomat system on the walk of the patients with incomplete spinal cord lesion. The main subject of the research is to monitor the changes in particular spatio-temporal parameters of walk (gait speed, stride length, stride time, single support time). Options of respiration physiotherapy in patients at a spinal unit
Bartošová, Kristýna ; Smolíková, Libuše (advisor) ; Oplatková, Lenka (referee)
Bachleor thesis "Possibilities of the Respiratory Physiotherapy in Spinal Cord Unit Patients" deals with respiratory problems of the patient with spinal cord injury. It debates problems of the patient in general, introduces the classification of spinal cord injuries and also informs about a clinical manifestation of the injuries. It includes a comparsion of respiratory kinesiology in healthy man to a man with spinal cord injury. It also informs about common respiratory complications. The work mentions the assessment of the patient. It also shows the most frequent techniques of respiratory physiotherapy which either prevent or suppress respiratory complications. The work compares the therapeutic effect of some techniques on basis of the evidence based studies. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
The usage of Indicators of structure and heterogeneity at different scales.
OPLATKOVÁ, Lenka
The indicators help us to describe and to understand the landscape. The objective of this thesis was to define, to test and to criticise indicators of structure and indicators of heterogeneity. The set of widely used landscape indicators was chosen and has applied to two databases of different scale {--} CORINE on a scale 1:100 000 and Biotopy ČR on a scale 1:10 000. Every indicator has been applied to both databases. The information given by the particular indicator when applied to one database was compared to the information given by the same indicator applied to the other. The both were compared. The aim was to evaluate to what extent is the usage of the indicator in question appropriate. Therefore we gain the unique comparison of the two different databases resulting in an overview of their practical exploitation, thus the main value added of the study.
