Summary In this bachelor thesis which was written and organized by myself, it is divided in two parts. The general part and the special part. The general part, which is the theoretical part, it includes all the anatomy of the lower back, specifically the vertebrae of the spine, the muscles, the lumbosacral plexus, joints, ligaments and fasciae of the lower back. The biomechanics of the lumbar spine and intervertebral disk. The kinesiology of the lumbar spine. Then, it is explained in details what is low back pain and disk herniation. Mentioning the common causes, etiology, symptoms, risk factors, physiotherapy examination, conservative and non-conservative treatment. The second part of the thesis, which it's the special part, it includes the whole case of my patient with low back pain due to disk herniation. In this parts it is also included the whole anamnesis/history of my patient, the whole examination (initial and final examination), and the therapy sessions which were 6. Name fo the work: Case study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient with rheumatic arthritis Aim: The aim of the bachelor thesis is to introduce the topic of rheumatic arthritis. Methodics of work: The work is divided into theoretical and special part. The first chapter is devoted to general rheumatology, necessary examinations and mainly to rheumatic arthritis. In the second part case study of the patient with this disease is described in details. The part also include testing, individual therapies, output examination and evaluation of the therapy effect. Result: The case study was elaborate in the period of January 6. - 31. 2014 at the Institute of Rheumatology in Prague. And the aims of therapies was fulfilled. Case Study of Physiotherapy Treatment of a Patient with the Diagnosis of Total Hip Replacement

The abstract of my study concerns the treatment of the case of my patient who had an operation of total hip replacement on the right hip joint, caused by post dysplastic arthrosis. My practice was performed at Fakultni Nemocnice Kralovske Vinohrady. Physiotherapy program started on Tuesday 29th of January 2013 and ended on Friday 1st of February 2013. My Bachelor Thesis is divided in two parts: 1) Theoretical part 2) Practical part. In the theoretical part I analyse everything concerning the hip joint, muscles, joints, bones, ligaments, nerves as well as the biomechanical and kinesiological point of view of the hip joint. In the practical part I analyse every procedure I have done with my patient, all the examinations, conclusions, therapies and results. The patient was operated at OTK FNKV hospital at 22nd of January. Goals of the therapy was to decrease pain and edema, increase range of motion of the movement, increase mobility and elasticity of skin and also improve strength of the operated right hip according to the examinations I provided to the practical part. After the five sessions improvements were detected in the final kinesiologic examination. Title: The comparison of stereognosis and pallesthesia of the preferred and non-preferred upper extremity in students of physiotherapy Objectives: To the objectives of the work belong the processing and compilation of information concerning laterality and sensation in the region of the upper extremities, then to evaluate the preference of the upper extremity by means of elected tests in 30 students of physiotherapy and to evaluate, whether the sensitivity of stereognosis and pallesthesia is higher in the region of the non- preferred upper extremity than in the region of the preferred upper extremity or whether the sensitivity of stereognosis and pallesthesia both of the upper extremities do not differ. Methods: The tasks of the work were dealt with four tests directed to the examination of preference, stereognosis and pallesthesia in the region of upper extremities. The statistic analysis of the results of the examination was carried out by means of paired t-test. Title: Outdoor activities as a means of integrating people after spinal cord injury Object: The research work related to a young man after spinal cord injury with a current diagnosis quadriplegia. Aim: To prepare a theoretical basis for follow-up and verify the thesis positive impact of outdoor activities to integrate persons after spinal cord injury. Method: To meet the targets was used analysis of personal documents and two different structured interviews with open questions. Results: The expected positive effect of outdoor activities on the process of integration of the spinal cord injury in this case was confirmed. Reintegration client to camp program has led to support the process of dealing with injury and also had a positive effect to increase its efforts to actively address the consequences of injury.
