Communication between devices using Bluetooth technology

This thesis focuses on communication between mobile devices running the Android operating system and the PCs running MS Windows via Bluetooth. The main task is to create an applications which creates network, representing virtual room, for the exchange of text messages (ie. instant messaging). This involves creating a platform independent protocol and consequently its actual implementation. At first, Bluetooth technology and its principles are discused in detail, then both supported platforms are introduced, including their programming languages. The conclusion focuses on designed protocol and the analysis of both application with their source code using including sample of format of sending messages.

Design of desktop applications using the workflow library

The theoretical part of the thesis generally focuses on history and development of work- flow library, briefly describing most important features and options, which gives the reader basics needed to understand and orientation in the topic. In practical part of the thesis is detailly analized prime example, which is showing options, flexibility and advantages of connecting WF and WPF libraries. Primarily the thesis uses the most widely used model and shows how to pass information between workflow and WPF.

Usage of Model-View-Controller design pattern in web applications

Content of this thesis is focused on usage of design pattern Model-View-Controller in web applications. The thesis is divided into several chapters. In first chapter is explained how MVC model works and necessary edits for usage in web applications. In second chapter is described development from web forms to MVC and comparison of these two concepts. Third chapter is focused on work with Razor engine. Last three chapters describe development of the application.

This bachelor thesis implements system of web management and monitoring. The thesis compares and evaluates contemporary possibilities of web monitoring. It likewise describes the application solution and its capabilities. Created system records the managed webpages, monitors their parameters during the time. The system has significant features: Ability to monitor webpages without source code treatment (possibility to monitor competitive webpages as well) and tracking the criteria within the time. The system provides outputs in both text and graphic shapes. It is based on free technologies.

Network communication in .NET Framework

This bachelor thesis provides an introduction to the .NET environment and its tools for network communication as well as the principles of web applications and services. It also briefly describes the C# programming language, JavaScript and the principles of object-oriented programming. On this basis, the second part of the thesis describes the development of a web application: The Qwirkle game for 2 to 4 players. Its development is documented from analysis through design and implementation up to testing of the finished application.

Web applications and Web services in C#

This thesis is focused on creating Web applications and services using the programming language C# and the Microsoft development environment Visual Studio 2010. This paper is divided into three chapters. The first one examines the ASP.NET technologies for the development of Web applications and services. It provides insight into the areas currently used in ASP.NET. In addition to this, it presents the development of versions, functions and components of this technology. The second chapter deals with the properties and use of Web services. The instructions for creating simple Web services and services for complex mathematical operations follow. Its functions are used by the console clients and the clients with user interface. The third chapter focuses on the development of a fullWeb application for booking classrooms and laboratories. There is a procedure for creating a database, setting up the project and the use of technology for proper functioning of the applications. At the end of the chapter, using the application supplemented with the screenshots is presented to the user.

Techniques for parallel processing in .NET Framework

This bachelor thesis describes the design of program which uses the techniques of parallel programming. The thesis contents theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is focused on explaining the basic concepts such as multi-threaded execution of applications on singlecore and multicore processor, topology of threads and methods of parallel programming with using classes ThreadPool and Task Parallel Library, which describes the methods Parallel.For, Parallel.ForEach, Parallel.Invoke and TASK. In the practical section individual functions and specific methods needed for proper functioning of the program are explained, which represent simple archive of web pages. The sites are periodically checked and addresses of this website’s are specified in the configuration file.

Microprocessor-controlled autonomous source of constant current and voltage

The task of bachelor thesis is proposal of switching source for the construction of leadacid battery charger 6/12V controlled by microprocessor. It is based on buck converter of voltage. The first part presents the activity of converter and properties of lead-acid batteries, followed by a proposal of converter for a given application. The second part describes a criteria for selection of individual components and dimensioning them. The result of this thesis is simulation of converter in PC program Micro-Cap 9, along with the necessary calculations, a proposal of circuit with the calculation of inductor and methods of measurement of output quantities. Finally, is realized circuit board with a couple measurements and control program for the microcontroller. The entire proposal is focused to achieving the greatest simplicity of facility and efficiency and quality of charging accumulators together at low cost to the product.

The algorithms of digital image processing on graphics cards

Purpose of this work is show possibility of using grapichs cart for imaging a video signal. This work is particularly focused on technology CUDA and OpenCL. The solution is first focused on graphics cart and show how has been changed components and how has been changed performaces of graphics cart. Then show CUDA and OpenCL technology itself, and show samples of codes with explain, what which code do. Output of this work is some programs, witch defined for both technology and for both procesors unit. Contribution of this work is show differents between procesors unit, witch can be used to right choose for design your own algorithm.
